    Great review, Gabriel! I purchased the Starks SW15's some months back, and I really like the 2 of them in my room that's 18 by 12 with an 7 or 8 foot ceiling. I'm seated 17 feet from them. The low frequencies with my music is awesome! The subsonic bass that I get from the movies travel outside of the walls of my house, so with late night listening I play my Velodyne SPL10 that peaks inside my room. Anyway, I love the subs, and I'm still thinking about buying the smaller Starks SW12's, since they also can play down to 16 hertz +3db! Looking forward to more videos!

    Thanks for the review. I was waiting for a comparison between the RSL 12s and the sw15p, but pulled the trigger on the 12s with their Christmas deal because there wasn't any reviews of the sw15p at the time. I'm really amazed at the performance of the 12s. I think either one would be great though.

    Nice review, Luis!
    After the UTHA event, I decided that I needed more bass than what my pair of SVS PB2000s are providing and decided to take advantage of the current Starke sale prices. I have two of the SW15Ps being delivered tomorrow!
    It's nice to see that you're happy with the performance, considering that this purchase was a leap of faith for me with a minimal amount of research. I just happened across your channel while researching them further.

      @vamsikrishnakamireddy6208 The SW15P subwoofers are on a completely different performance level than my old PB2000s. My first impressions of the Starke subs came by simply swapping them with the SVS, no additional EQ, Audyssey or anything. The air in my rather large room suddenly had a weight in the air I had not experienced previously. After my MiniDSP 2X4HD arrived, I integrated the PB2000s back into my system in a nearfield position, they honestly didn't add much to the overall low frequency response in my room but do add a little more rumble in my couch. I would gladly share a picture of the REW chart to prove my observations, but can't post it here.
      Bottom line is that for a no frills, basic subwoofer, I don't think the Starkes can be beat at their normal price. If you pick them up on sale like they now are, they are an incredible bargain.

    Great review - thanks for your insight. I actually have the TV2112 also and am looking at both of these as options for a second sub so this was very helpful. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on how these compare to the PSA. My downstairs room is somewhat similar as well, roughly 30*15 with 7.5' ceilings with a lot of acoustic challenges because of the way I have to arrange the TV and furniture (layout is wide rather than long due to columns). Thanks again for all the details!

    • @gabrieltechreviews8185
      @gabrieltechreviews8185  2 месяца назад

      Hello.
      So the tv2112 has a ton of output we you know :)
      It will also dig deeper but at the same time the Starke is pretty "violent" for movies which surprised me. My basement is a tough one because is 57x17 and then completely opened to another section is like like 20 something x 20 something but the Starkes are surprisingly capable of filling the room with good amount of energy. Anything I like is they do protect themselves every well so you can push them without hearing odd noisesll.
      The psa was a bit more finicky with some movies when pushed with beq for example, Pixels when the pacman first appears and is running away from the good guys , the PSA will make a weird pop sound of pushed too hard. The Starke seems to limit itself to not embarrass itself in such a case hahahah
      I would try it especially today as I think they are running a memorial day sale .
      Still when it comes to sheer output, the PSA is on a other league yet the extra power is at a level so loud for my taste, that is irrelevant for MY needs
      Thanks for the kind words!!!

      The rp14000 measures very good from what I saw but based on what I experienced between the rsl 12s and the Starke for movies, I would guess the Starke will have the upper hand for movies over the rp1400. Of course, until I try one this will only be my best guess.
