    I’ve had 22 bouts atm, boxed a number of pros and got the better of some, I’ve sparred really high level amateurs and some pros with 5-0/6-0 records and never been out my depth. I’m 22 atm in no rush to go pro but it’s definitely something I want to do in maybe 2 years time

    The pro boxing game is not what people think it is. You get a manager and promoter book you fights with bums get you to 10-0 locally then the offers for bigger money start coming in your DMs from match makers and promoters from Jersey, Vegas, and Cali. Some cats take a beating for 5 grand or 10 grand when you're not ready and lots of journeymen guys do it for the quick cash. And you got those promoters that get u to 10-0 and gas you up to get paid when you're not ready. Guys like Loma and Rigo and Shakur are the guys who get a big promotion deal From Arum or DLH, the local promoters are vampires. Dirty game at the club level.

      Agreed, the smoke and mirrors of the food chain is mind-boggling. They literally develop guys for years just to use them as a sacrificial lamb to look good on a blue chip boxer’s record

      Talk to your coach homie. If you don’t have one, you need to get one.

    • @coachv3436
      @coachv3436  Год назад +8

      You have to make sure you have your Usa Boxing passport, a.k.a. Boxing license for the amateurs and your coach is a registered coach with a gym and he can take you to a club show to match up with an opponent!
