    Great lesson, I had seen multiple but no one sounded really like the original version and your version sounds really similar

    Thank you, man. I shall, I shall. I've been very busy lately, but I hope to put up 'Roll Away Your Stone', 'The Cave', 'White Blank Page' & 'Hopeless Wonderer' tutorials in the next coming days when I have free time again!

    Great video. I understood the tuning set up without the nasty patronising comments. Thanks for the video

    The tuning is explained wrong... Open C Tuning is: CACGCE (from lowest to highest string), it only becomes FDFCFA when you put the capo on the 5th fret!

    Cheers, Sherman. I was once learning Oasis songs as the height of my guitar playing ability; great choice. All the best, bro.

    Mate. Awesome job. You are the man. I am a LONG way from this but at least I know what to do now. Baby steps. It'll make a change from Oasis.

    Nice tutorial! Do you have known the old song of some American song writer, I don't remember but the words such as "Ouh, ouh you in the army now". This is like status quo or so I don't remember

    can somebody help me with the tuning, somehow i can't get it right, great tutorial though

      Search for 'CACGCE - Open C6' in google. The top site should have a tuner where you can hear the notes of this tuning. Tune your guitar to this without the capo. Then put the capo back on 5th fret for Open F6 tuning. Hope this helps

    you didn't even explain which strings to put the fingers on and just expected us to be able to see...

  • @xgreenjacket
    @xgreenjacket 9 лет назад +4

    First of all... If your going to claim to show the correct version then you should know how to number your strings correctly your strings are numbered in relation to tablature so your high e is 1 not your low e. Secondly telling people to come in after beat four is an indiscriminate amount of time everything in music is broken down into beats, you actually come in on the & after 4 because it could be the & or the U when counting bars. I only wrote this because you sit there telling people about time and measure and getting things right plus I've seen you comment on other lessons yet your not getting the basics right yourself but other than that yes good job

      You're a moron, and here's why: I'm playing the strings as I talk, so why would that even matter. Yes, I could use "musically correct" language to describe playing after the fourth beat, but I don't because maaaybe I'm trying to get viewers to feel the rhythm, and maaaybe using "musically correct" language may alienate and confuse those who aren't about music theory.
      And I've commented on other videos because they're WRONG. This tutorial is showing you the RIGHT way of playing the song. I couldn't give a fuck about high Es and 1st and 2nd strings because I'm not being unclear. Thank you for your meaningless criticism.

      +daveplayguitar it is a bit unclear as to what tuning you are in which is why I came to the comment section to see if anyone had explained it.

      Ahh this explains why my guitar sounded like a dying antelope after I tuned it to what he said
