Inspired is going to catch the fade for this one.
Jensen wasn't the problem Inspired's mental was
I honestly thought Jensen played really well for a lot of the season. The whole team was being like cloud 9.
Ye, Inspired was the problem with his lilia being 4 lvl up in the final
tsm passing the crown to flyquest as the most unlikeable team in lcs
TSM tripped and fell so Flyquest could stumble.
Inspired and bwipo running it down at MSI was a bigger issue
No mid will fix their issues, but it's always nice to have a scapegoat
This has be related to internal issues stemming from their MSI showing, there's almost no shot Quad will come in and be an upgrade over Jensen from a performance perspective for the summer.
Well…
Yeah didn't age well
@memark8 Haha I'll happily eat my words, Quad far exceeded my expectations, especially after Jensen was coming off an objectively good split domestically. Quad made me believe in him for sure
feels disrespectful to jensen imo, from the outside seems like papasmithy/fly is doubling down on taking inspired's side. hope its not actually messed up internally tho
i think people don’t realize how good quad is
@@stvntastic5164people really dont understand how good quad is
I think Busio and Bwipo played poorly, I think Bwipo was too nervous or trying too hard and got desperate, Busio is new so he's probably got nerves but he will grow out of it. sometimes we gotta let players grow. Learn from their mistakes. Jensen was okay, he wasnt bad at all. They just need to chill and let the team grow. Inspired needs to put some respect on Jenson, everyone respects jensen more than you Inspired, his resume is 100x better than yours show some some respect, deep shit!
yeah I agree. Quad better be on Faker level or something's wrong.
Jensen lost three times in a row the mid lane.
Ya saw this coming. No matter how much they try and downplay it or act like it’s a joke, inspired clearly doesn’t wanna play with Jensen and fly would be stupid to choose Jensen over inspired. Inspired wants someone like jojo, someone who’s super aggressive and is gonna move around the map. Jensen just isn’t that type of player. Jensen doesn’t deserve all the blame for flyquest losing, but when a team fails someone is gonna take the heat for it. Usually it’s just a coaching change, this time it’s the mid laner.
Not gotta change anything. Fly will still lose, changing rosters all the time is not the right move.
Lol did you watch their games???? Inspired was running it down every game.
Just cuz he got kills he looks like the only player doing good but he lost those games on his own with his ints.
@@duongthanhtung492I didn’t say it was a good thing, but if players don’t wanna play with each other then it’s probably not smart to force them.
@@AbrahamHernandez-j2g lol ya I watched the games.
Did you actually read my comment?
I didn’t say inspired was a perfect player, I said if fly has to choose between inspired and Jensen then they’d be dumb to choose Jensen. Inspired has done more in recent years and that’s what teams value.
I agree with choosing inspired over jensen, but inspired did nothing jg when ppl gank all his laners and his attitude and ego is this big. He sht talk jensen on stage so he can save face, I hope he end up like dardoch and beg his way for an lcs spot in the future
Quid, Quad, Qued, Quod and Quud gonna go crazy in LCS
i think massu was the only one who stepped up and performed well. inspired and jensen played fine, not great and not bad, and bwipo and busio played super fkin bad.
When jensen was signed, he was signed to be a decent mid that wouldnt win or lose you games and who was okay late game. I think he pretty much performed as expected.
I dont think benching bwipo would be a good idea despite the fact that he solo lost them the series, because hes part of their fire power. I would have though busio would be benched for a better support perhaps, especially since massu really showed up and would benefit greatly from a better support. I only like the jensen benching if they were able to pick up some super good or aggro mid, like full send it with jizuke for the memes. Now the fly roster looks really weak, maybe im wrong, but i think fly will struggle to make worlds assuming c9 and nrg pick it up, the last spot at worlds might be scary to get for them.
Jensen was hyper aggressive at the start of his career but I feel like other veterans they become more passive over time and conservative
agreed, these days it just feels like he wave clears and never goes for any sort of plays unless someone else on his team starts the play
ah makes sense lets just adhere to the jg top duo that def played well at MSI!
i think they were just testing out quad with academy and felt he was ready as he has good mechanics and hits ranked 1 in NA
Crazy how doublelift doesn’t even consider who the replacement is, like it didn’t even occur to him that Jensen could have played fine but Quad is significantly better
Ever since the Inspired interview and watching the top side run it down at MSI, it is clear that the team needs a change. Either change out Jensen or Inspired. The team chose Inspired.
Yeah, not sure I trust a player who thinks too criticize a Mid-Karma for playing "Vegan", especially when he is calling for the mid to play support.
Flyquest got dogged on at msi mainly cuz of bwipo lol
yup, narrow bwipo
Or maybe it's because FLY Challengers just won 3-0 in the Challengers League and Quad has been popping off? He's a young prospect and has great potential... No hate to Jensen, it's just time for Quad to get a starting LCS spot. Screw the drama man, let this new guy play.
Good move
The whole team played bad not just Jensen. But if the team wont work well together they need to find and fix the problem
The problem is Jensine isn't getting the respect he deserves from teams. He's a strong mid lane mage player , building around him would bring a team regional success easily
Jensen wasnt benched because he sucks, Quad was put in because hes very good.
jensen benched instead of bwipo aka the guy who doesnt look at his own fking screen lol
This is sooo weird, we know nothing, but i cayn't stop speculateing that Inspired and Bwipo are bro's that runs the teams leadership and playstyle. Busio and Massu are just happy to learn from them and are fine with haveing vocal leaders, that can teach them (Even tho inspired is harsh.) Bwipo and inspired see them both as valuable prospects that both respect and blindly follow Inspired and Bwipo's playstyle. Jensen on the other hand, prop have a way differendt playstyle, and disagrees with them. I speculate that Inspired dislikes working with Jensen, because Inspired does not have full control and dominance over Jensen. TLDR Inspired prop does not like Jensen's playstyle and the fact that Jensen does not just blindly follow their strategies like the other sheep on the team. holy shit i need help for writing all this.
Jensen benched to keep Inspired happy
Imagine your roster peaking to win LCS, then deciding to make a change.
I think Jensen was probably the most consistent player on the team. Inspired was very up and down and even Bwipo admits to his own faltering. But this type of shit happens so often with LCS, they change out people who aren't the problem to just add in rookie LCK players. Instead of allowing you debatably best mid laner from NA play
It wasn't even Jensen. Inspired & Bwipo played like dogs at MSI this year. Yes, Jensen, Massu, and Busio may have not exceeded your expectations but Inspired & Bwipo? These two ran it down internationally the most. I'm kind of glad Jensen left that toxicity. DIG's roster looks like it has potential. They got Licorice as their Top, Zven and Spica are back. If you give DIG a good ad carry, that team is online. Let's talk about Jensen though it's really cringe how our decent NA mid laners gets replaced easily with a Korean mid laner just because they played for an LCK team. And *that* LCK team wasn't even top 5. Not even 6.
Jensen deserves better.
Jensen is one of the most consistent players that gets traded around to teams who want to get into worlds.
Eg
Would both c9 and FQ benefit for trading jojo for Jensen?
Jensen definitely had a standout bad performance vs PSG specifically. He got bodied by maple every game so hard that Bwipo's leads weren't enough. I don't think that alone is enough to get benched so there's a lot more we don't know, but his performance was definitely a tier below everyone else who was also playing bad
Rip Benchson
Jensen though, didn't move on some plays at all; not even hovering.
If you watch the games vs PSG Inspired was the same way.
Scapegoating Jensen, when Bwipo was a dog all MSI
Dig needs to get Jensen
Dig with Licorice too? Get some old C9 mojo goin
Not all that unexpected, he had a shaky performance. But more then that, I think they just like to have another kind of player. As mentioned already, someone who can be more aggressive in his plays etc.
Must not have watched playoffs where Jensen was hard fucking carrying
@@tyler200100 I did see pop off in games, but I also see games where he doesn't as much as I think some other players would.
is it me or did jensen's career derail after TL
He won with c9 after TL
@@catpollins Yea but he was the weakest part of the roster.
@@Craftee6 Whenever he went to a team they got better so idk
From what I heard from one of my friends that works in the esports is that Jensen is a very toxic teammate. He's historically known to be a verbally abusive teammate. I'm not even going to mention what he's done non league related the past 5 years lmaoo
He's not very toxic, he's just european. I dont think "toxic" would a problem between jensen, inspired and bwipo, but its possible that bot lane felt uncomfortable with them 3 talking shit to each other.
If inspired and bwipo had any problem with jensen actually, is that jensen over the years developed his playstyle into being more passive, reactive and slow, while inspired and bwippo want to play ham, be proactive and look for plays. I imagine this caused a lot of disagreements. It was sth that inspired mentioned in several interviews, that jensen just doesn't see the game this way, and they had to "teach him".
My issue with this is... Jensen gets benched, but Busio is fine? Busio never looks good, on a win or loss. I guess they're thinking a support isn't that big of a deal, but with a talented rookie like Massu, wouldn't getting a more experienced support who can build Massu up and also make plays with the Jg/Mid be a better choice?
if you needed another reason to hate fly, here you go.
Oh look another time jensen got to an international stage and jensen gets benched - just another year.
At this point, youre killing a genuinely good NA mid laner's spirit by benching him again - top 5 na mids of all time btw
I think it's because of the 17:31. kek
I don't understand this the support has way under performing and they kick one of better players due to what everyone is under performing at MSI other than there adc who played better than expected I don't know enough to make judgement calls fully in how things are behind the scenes but my eye test results is saying support was must under performing member for the team at MSI I don't think that Jenson was insane as he use to be but I still think in form he's in is better than the replacement choice but I don't expect na gm to ever make good decisions anymore or have in long time but I hope Jenson finds something better because this is feels a scape goat kind of punishment for the team and the players chances of making words and I hope they don't make it to words with that roster due to bot gap sorry but to rest of the worlds roster there will definitely be stronger bot lanes they will be facing and now they kick a veteran mind who's almost always over performing at international events or be relatively alright against the best mids and the need to play to their top jungle but this style reminds of huhi rainover but they don't play like that I think is the biggest sins of roaster power if they kept stable mid player like Jenson and play low resources but/ pick up a better support they could play jungle top dives for days and crush a lot of teams in na other than c9 and TL I think could have worked well for them now I hope they don't make so na might look better at worlds
Damn jensen takes the blame for Inspired mental booms i would have rather kept jensen and put in spica ffs
I loved Bwipo. But over the years his toxicity has gotten out of control. A good player he is but he's no best top lane in any region.
Bwipo just follows Inspired trash and vice versa. Jensen historically has a record from being banned from League by being toxic. I mean internally most Leagues players pro and non pro are toxic. Riot never did anything about it until the last 3-4 years. It's a bit late. Iron, Bronze and Silver players think they are plat and up for trash talking. Once people see the pro's being Toxic. the community will spread that same toxicity. I still watch LoL E-Sports. but I'm done with League's people. Because of League of Legends. I now player single player games. It's just not worth it.
Snowflake mental
Inspired and Bwipo played liek shit at MSI perm ganking 2v1 and losing
Bwipo top dog? more like ego dog.
Jensen washed
Inspired should be benched. That guy is trash
EU pro players are conniving as hell. So much politics going on within the teams.
