The Redmagic 10 Pro is obviously the best gaming smartphone. On the other hand, as I repeat every time, As long as Android users don't boycott games like Genshin and apps like Adobe's with its suite that outrageously favor iOS and are optimized with feet🦶🏽when it's come to Android, things aren't going to change in Android's favor despite the fact that the hardware is better than Apple's 🤷🏽♂️
The fact is if dev dedicated to single android chips like ios than it's end for ios in gaming but unfortunately it's never going to happen because of tons of soc from diff. brand.
Pretty impressive for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the only problem is the temperature and how high it can get. I was planning to buy a ZTE Nubia Red Magic 10 pro but since it still isn't available in my country, I was going for the iPhone 16 pro max and these comparisons helped reinforced this decision of mine. Your power consumption data seems strange? There's no data showing that the 8e has higher power consumption than the a18pro in 3z. What did you mess with?
the phone feels cheap, cameras are terrible, screen touch sampling is inaccurate, trash animations in the ui, speakers are garbage. the reason it’s so cheap is because they throw in a big battery and a new chip and don’t do anything else
I'm telling you I have the the red magic and in console gaming and emulation its in a league of its own. I know from experience everything from witcher 3 to Mario Oddyseey 40 to 70 fps many not possible on IOS
Waiting for Honkai Star Rail test at 120 fps. I have noticed that my 16PRM drains battery WAY FASTER when playing Star Rail than Genshin if I use the same setting level with 120fps!
Surprisingly Genshin could do 25 mins on screen with 9-10% battery drain on my 16PRM at 120fps Max Setting, but Honkai consumed 15% at the same amount of on-screen time and graphics level.
I’ve tested it and iPhone 16 Pro is stuck in the 70-80fps area without MetalFX, 65-70 if on. Also, Star Rail is more intensive because Genshin has a stamina bar which limits the graphical use when you run out of stamina because the scene isn’t moving so quickly. 60fps METALFX MAX in Genshin is about 5.2-5.4 watts with the speaker mute in the new Flower Feather clan area, Star Rail is 5.7-5.8 watts running in a loop in the control center of Herta’s Space station. So yes, Star rail is way more intensive.
The iPhone is far more impressive here. Consuming less energy, doesn't need a fan and delivering top notch performance in gaming without even trying hard. Not to mention it's a better overall phone that's solid in ALL areas.
I think the fan is the biggest differentiator in this case, the SD elite is a great chip but if phones don’t have cooling like the red magic it would be difficult to maintain that performance
@@sinisaninofocic9516 it means optimization but in turkish it's called as that, their phone probably auto changed it to that when texting. as for power consumption, it sadly doesn't matter when there are almost 10c surface temperatures and that's really only thing that matters
Wow. An actively cooled device with way more RAM beats a not cooled device with less RAM. And no I am NOT an Apple fanboy. Same outcome for Samsung and Google or Xiaomi. They are both the same I cant say 0.1 fps more and 14p more in res is the winner when it runs double the power consumption. This test shouldve been a draw cause thats literally the same res and performance.
It's still fair... People are going to be gaming on both devices. If anything, this video is a show of the advantages of active cooling. The Red Magic is much more comfortable to hold while gaming.
Actually there's no game that can use the full raw performance of snapdragon 8 elite except winlator emulated pc games . Those Android and ios games have reached the limit of development. @@andyH_England lower temps tend to be better for longevity of the battery so I prefer red magic over iphone BUT you can also use cooler fans on the iphone though to remove that problem
@@huh5068 I used an external cooler on my RM10 pro global just to see if there were improvements. It ran even cooler, increased stability, and helped a little bit in battery life.
The difference in terms of average fps is SLIGHTLY higher and is due to the way each device handles the fps count, while the iPhone gives the precise data the Red Magic always rounds up which makes the average obtained not precise. In the rest of sections such as temperature and resolution the Red Magic wins. But to say that it is superior because of this when the differences are minimal and depends on the game being run (since in other games the iPhone is better) is debatable, without taking into account that the iPhone does offer you a much wider catalog of games; what the iPhone could envy the RM is that improved fan that they incorporated, even so the temperatures of the iPhone are good too.
To think that this is Qualcomm's first gen Oryon architecture in a phone. I'm sure Elite 2 will be far more efficient power wise. Apple has refined they're same architecture for over a decade.
With it's current capabilities, It's also worth noting that the A18 Pro is still just a six-core CPU compared to the 8 Elite's eight-core CPU. Both companies still have a LOT of leeway to grow performance and efficiency wise.
SD was already enough efficient and powerful than A Bionic chips but ios has developer advantage. Focused on single chips is craziest part rather than launching tons of soc from different brand and series for androids.
that racing game was reeks of optimization issue lol, even wuwa kinda have disadvantage on android because of Metal FX on ios, ios have huge advantage because developer need to go above and beyond on optimization to put their apps in ios, not like optimization on android where they can just put any unoptimized burden strong armed by the hardware
That is the advantage of iOS that Apple insists on good performance and efficiency, which is great for customers. They also help the devs considerably with their APIs.
Please take a look at this video. No iPhone can open this game with this level of graphics. So, at least, IOS does not allow the modifications I made to the game files. I give the link. You will see that it is no different from PC details. ruclips.net/video/g4qKRu4uWmM/видео.htmlsi=hKZbcPT1Ai5Ovm9z
In fact, the iPhone won. The difference in image resolution (although MetalFX is better to add to improve the image as in WW, I don't think the difference in FPS will be very noticeable) and the difference in the number of FPS is not so big. But the difference in consumption... And given this fact, the Samsung S25U should obviously try to achieve the performance level of 16 Pro Max and stop bragging only about the camera (and I can only praise the methods of photo processing, 16 Pro Max still has problems with photo quality at maximum zoom and with letters) and thin frames (thin frames are inconvenient).
@@GRRoman-is1pg , Unfortunately, this dispute cannot go any further. The problem is that I personally have not found information about how much the cooler consumes at least from the Redmagic 9 Pro. People praise andriod but in gaming even with inferior hardware the iPhone will still come on top. In software engineering we learn that optimised software is better than powerful hardware. Real life examples include the PS3 , Wii U etc
A phone with a fan has an inherent advantage and does not reflect the actual ability of the Snapdragon due to this advantage. We have seen other SD 8 Elite phones with no fan and thermal issues.

@spotifex3214 Yeah I don't need to hear this from an iPhone stan, S24 ultra is one of the most allrounder phones out there, agree or disagree don't care. And you're comparing Samsung with iPhone? The Redmagic 10 Pro is obviously the best gaming smartphone.
On the other hand, as I repeat every time, As long as Android users don't boycott games like Genshin and apps like Adobe's with its suite that outrageously favor iOS and are optimized with feet🦶🏽when it's come to Android, things aren't going to change in Android's favor despite the fact that the hardware is better than Apple's 🤷🏽♂️
The fact is if dev dedicated to single android chips like ios than it's end for ios in gaming but unfortunately it's never going to happen because of tons of soc from diff. brand.

There is also the new Rog phone. It could claim that title as well.

Why do I think the graphics near red magic are better than ip? Is it because of the screen?
Slightly higher resolution on RedMagic 10 Pro
Why do I think the graphics near iphone are better than red magic? Is it because the screen?
Pretty impressive for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the only problem is the temperature and how high it can get. I was planning to buy a ZTE Nubia Red Magic 10 pro but since it still isn't available in my country, I was going for the iPhone 16 pro max and these comparisons helped reinforced this decision of mine. Much love❤️
Edit: Though if the Red Magic ten pro ever releases in my country, I'm planning to buy it as well with my own money this time after getting a part time job since my parents will be the one buying the iPhone 16 Pro Max with me contributing a little bit since I'll be adding 32k of my save up money because in my country it cost 84k for the 512g version.
Your power consumption data seems strange? There's no data showing that the 8e has higher power consumption than the a18pro in 3z. What did you mess with?
Redmagic is the only android phone that i would happily buy
I'm a 8S Pro user and I completely agree with you, Nubia Redmagic series is the best! 👍👌
Nah bad software support and no water proof a big no no for me haha
the phone feels cheap, cameras are terrible, screen touch sampling is inaccurate, trash animations in the ui, speakers are garbage. the reason it’s so cheap is because they throw in a big battery and a new chip and don’t do anything else

And also it heated up way faster in Honkai Star Rail. That's quite odd cause i've always thought Genshin has more graphic intensity than Star Rail
Using high fps with high graphics always drains your battery a lot.
😮
The iPhone is far more impressive here. Consuming less energy, doesn't need a fan and delivering top notch performance in gaming without even trying hard. Not to mention it's a better overall phone that's solid in ALL areas.
Red magic has bigger battery and comes with a charger 😂 and nail in coffin it cost much less 😜
@@ranjitmandal1612 Yes, but the rest of the device is inferior, like the cameras, OS update support and quality.

The iPhone without a fan did exceptionally well compared to a dedicated gaming phone with a fan.

Wow. An actively cooled device with way more RAM beats a not cooled device with less RAM. And no I am NOT an Apple fanboy. Same outcome for Samsung and Google or Xiaomi. Actively cooled device will always beat a way hotter device. So this whole video is no sense. Compare non vs actively cooled devices otherwise it's unfair.
They are both the same I cant say 0.1 fps more and 14p more in res is the winner when it runs double the power consumption. This test shouldve been a draw cause thats literally the same res and performance.
A very minimal difference too. The iPhone is far more impressive.

Even though the Bionic A18 pro has better performance, Red magic seems to be more comfortable to play because of the lower temperature
If you use a controller that negates the thermals on the iPhone.
@@andyH_England lower temps tend to be better for longevity of the battery so I prefer red magic over iphone
BUT you can also use cooler fans on the iphone though to remove that problem

SD Elite is power efficient the power consumption is the overall consumption not just the chipset so it includes those 22000 Rpm fans as well.

that racing game was reeks of optimization issue lol, even wuwa kinda have disadvantage on android because of Metal FX on ios, ios have huge advantage because developer need to go above and beyond on optimization to put their apps in ios, not like optimization on android where they can just put any unoptimized burden strong armed by the hardware
