That made me feel homesick. I went there every weekend for six weeks some years ago. It was the best shopping experience of my life. So wonderful to see it again. Thank you for posting. 🌈
I love you, guyssssss! My First love was NYC, then Paris is....omg! I wish living there....all these antiques ......you're so blessed to have accummulated these ....
Alice Wong, my feeling exactly. I could watch TC flea market all day, picking things up & talking about their historical value. My idea of fun entertainment.
I’m dying right now, that was so much fun! Felt like I got to go shopping IN the best of the best WITH the best of the best FOR the best of the best! Merci! 💋
Like this vedio cos my favorite thing is wandering off the vintage boutiques and marketplaces on the weekends, and it would be so exciting if can find some adorable unique themes
I would be in heaven there with lots of cash. On my bucket list for sure!! Love this video. Wish it was longer to see inside lots of the booths! Need a shopping partner !!
Have really enjoyed this video , your deep friendship companionship shines through I loved the trip with you to the Paris Market , thank you Mary 🇨🇦 Canada
I have the table legs at 1:55! They're part of a coffee table belonging to my great aunt. It has a 6' x 3.5' x 1.5" glass top. Very heavy, but very cool. They're brass and they've patina'd very nicely.
I enjoyed this video and was inspired to visit les Puces. I think Timothy Corrigan is a VERY talented designer. I have enjoyed his earlier books and look forward to the pending release of his next. I vicariously live in a chateau through his books. I have to say, however, that I was taken aback by his suggestion that EVERYONE should just say they are a DEALER. I am, and it's hard work -- a labor of love. My fellow dealers and our pickers are a close little group. We all work hard and try to support one another with professional courtesies. For everyone to just masquerade as a dealer, I feel, is dishonest and unfair to those of us who do the hard work to source great things for our clients. It's hard enough work as it is without everyone cutting into our paper thin margins. I think this comment was likely made without thinking deeply about it, but I had to post as it upset me so. I'm sure Timothy would appreciate the professional courtesy of a "to the trade" discount I would extend to him and as I do all the other certified designers who shop at my store. At the same time, I don't think he would appreciate me discounting things to everyone who says they are "a designer." People with no certification, business card, tax certificate, or website say they are "designers every day." Please respect those of us who commit to the professions.
mr. corrigan always has a great for things...i could never pull it off like he does...awesome video...does mr corrigan have a christmas video with the french chateau?
I spent an April in Paris, staying at an art dealer's flat. It was a residential arrondissement. So less touristy. But there was a great--smaller--flea market just a block from me. At the Porte de Vanves. I bought a nice set of nested pots. I would have gone to perhaps the one featured...but it was the height of the great recession...and the dollar had fallen to a third of its value against the Euro.
More reputable companies will arrange the shipment but those are additional fees and keep in mind once they arrive in the US, you may be liable for import taxes too.
Renate DeBruyn Under the Endangered Species Act it is illegal to bring into the United States many products made from the skin of alligators, crocodiles or related reptiles called caimans. If brought into the United States, watchbands, shoes, purses, belts and other goods made from endangered species can be confiscated with no recompense to the owner. It is quite difficult to determine on your own which species an item is made of, and buyers must rely on the word of merchants that their goods may legally be brought back home.
KatyLied I know that. I'm just saying that the tortoise shell lamp offended me. There is considerable documentation about sea turtles and land tortoises .. many species of which are endangered. So to see a shell of one of these beautiful creatures being used as a lamp shade is truly offensive to me.
Timothy Corrigan is AMAZING!!! I would scream loud with joy if I could go shopping with him in Paris!!!
Yes he is!! Glad you enjoyed!
Mr. Corrigan has truly figured out how to live life on his own terms. I love his historical knowledge. It makes him seem much more genuine.

I love how excited and knowledgeable Timothy Corrigan is about antiques and objects. You can tell it's genuine and not a put-on or act.

Love it so much. Where do you take these items to send back to the United States?
More reputable companies will arrange the shipment but those are additional fees and keep in mind once they arrive in the US, you may be liable for import taxes too.

Black quilted jackets.
💐🇦🇺
Would be a treat to date a man like him
I think Timothy Corrigan feels he has found a sympatio spirit in Susanna?
We are all good friends and design compatriots!
A couple of seedy characters at :43 haha
3.54 tortoise shell lamp would offend me. Just as a lynx coat would. Or ornaments made of elephant tusks. Too many more to mention ...

This video was too short!
Garrow kerdijian
The French dealers are not friendly!
A lot of fake antiques come from Spain.
Frank Gutowski I don’t know about that but this is Paris!
Fake antiques are made everywhere. Beware and know what you're buying.
