I once beat a kid in a corvette from one light to another in my Prius. The acceleration off the line is almost as great as that fuel economy. It's not meant for speed obviously but can be a good bit of fun.

I know, but if u would put it in some old hatchback, in the middle of car, and make it RWD it would pull nicely. Friend of mine did that with old V8 from Mercedes and some 90's Renault. Pretty much Renault 5 Turbo on steroids. :D

I've had two emotional days like that involving cars. The first day was shortly after I finished my golf build and I had her out for a cruise by the lake. It was incredibly special to me. The second was the the day I saw her get towed away after saving me from getting squished by a transport truck. I still cant bring myself to sell her but I cant afford to fix her. So now she just sits in an wreaking yard. Rusting and waiting for me to come back.

Sorry to make you sad man. I feel like this is an unfortunate reality that we as car people all run into. There is always going to be the one that got away. Eric Bana did a movie about his Ford Falcon that is essentially that story aside from the fact that he has more money that me and can do whatever he wants.

When we're kids we dream of owning Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc, but then we grow up a little and our passions turn towards more reasonable cars. I guess this video shows us why these cars exist, and why there's still a desire for them within the adult market and not just in the hearts of little boys who dream of becoming racecar drivers. It shows us just how much raw passion and emotion these cars evoke..and now to go back to driving my Honda :// haha

It's really fun to drive on slow twisty roads even tho I have the 100HP diesel version hatch from 2005. But I want to buy something faster in the near future, I'm looking at 350Z, 3000GT, Impreza or maybe even RX8 because the RX7 is damn expensive and rare here.

My grandparents both moved from Italy to the US to work in the steal industry. I dream of owning the most perfectly formed pieces of steel in a Lamborghini someday. I had the chance to drive a Gallardo a few years back and have been smiling ever since. Lamborghini is definitely a point of pride for Italians across the planet.

This video made me look at the perfomante differantly. It is not like a Ferrari 488 or a gt3, this car has emotion. It redefines supercars. It is going back to how supercars used to be and making it better and faster. And with a host like Alex you can relatie more to the car and the expirience of driving it. This is one of the best reviews i have seen.

Living in north africa and coming from an average background, my unobtainable dream since I was 5 was to attend an F1 race. And for my 20th birthday, I was able to achieve my dream by myself at the austin GP 2015 + an autographed hat from Nico and Lewis, on my way to the track I heard the F1 car engines starting and I couldn't hold my tears from happiness. I know how you felt driving the Lamborghini, and man is it an incredible feeling.

and an electric car driver will tell you the noise is irrelevant. that's like saying the only thing that matters about a song is the lyrics.
Not really... I am not an electric car hater but the noise is what gives a huge portion of the thrills. Even a bad car with a very good soundtrack feels exciting but an electric car has to be quite good to match the competition. Imo the only electric car that can truly be a called a completed car is the Tesla model S. Anything else (i'm not mentioning the X because I just don't like SUVs, at all.) just feels that they're going somewhere but they got lost in the process via poor milage, extremely unsuccessful futuristic design, low power and huge charging times.
Hybrid is the current way of efficient and exciting machines. We will eventually get to the point where we create very good electric cars, but that point isn't here yet and we still have plenty of road to go.
Well electric cars have a different noise.

Seeing Alex shed tears inside a Lamborghini has inspired me to change my outlook on Lambos from one of hatred back to one of admiration. I used to love Lamborghinis back when the Gallardo and Murcielago were new, but then went through a period of disgust, as if just because I had gotten into built-not-bought car scene I was now above the design and technological genius that Lamborghinis have always exemplified. Alex doesn't get emotional like this unless there's something truly outstanding to experience, so I felt like I needed to re-examine my perspective on these brilliant cars. Great video, thank you!

I was so lucky to have driven normal huracan, and I totally get the tears. The first time I pushed the pedal down in a tunnel, all the butterflies went crazy. Such an awesome car my god.

Little known fact they used a sticker for the logo which allows an additional 64hp! Italian engineering is remarkable!
Porsche does that in the GT3 RSs, they haven't shown us the figures for the sticker, but we're guessing it give +32BHP

I rarely comment on videos, but this video was the best car review I've ever seen. I'm subscribed to MT. I thought they were the go-to source for auto reviews. Not anymore. This channel is. The passion displayed here struck me in a way I didn't expect.
As I kid I always dreamed of owning a Lamborghini one day. I've had posters on my wall as a kid and Lamborghini wallpaper on my computer as a teenager. At some point, and I don't remember exactly when, I realized I most likely will never own a Lamborghini no matter how hard or long I work. For twelve minutes just now I felt that I was in this amazing machine experiencing everything the reviewer was experiencing. For twelve minutes I forgot that I'll never own a car if this exotic nature. Thank you for that. It was much more than a car review. It was an experience.

Wonderful video! I love Lamborghinis and drawing. When I was young I used to start my old Need for Speed games and spend hours in the car selection screen just to redraw and mimic the design of old Lamborghinins while dreaming about designing my very own car as a designer at Lamborghini. A sketch made by my idols would be a dream come true for me.

I have always been interested with cars, no reason I can give, I just feel relaxed with cars and sometimes when its hard with life, business, I take my own time there and cool myself, enjoy sound and mechanics, wash them, drive them, always alone by my self, its my time, car responds how we/ you treat it, it don't cheat or lie, just performs, its opposite of us humans, when ever I need to get away from this all, I just need to turn the ignition on, need to go away of this all when i feel like it. I know my limits, I'm never tired or angry, because i take my time before i reach that point. I think that was exactly how/ what you felt driving that car, you disconnected yourself from it all and became one with the car! It shows that you really are a petrol head! :) Nice passionate review!

I bought a Performante back in March of this year. I don't cry every time I drive it, but I get pretty close. It's an utterly amazing machine and I always tell people who ask what it's like that it's simply a feat of automotive engineering in almost every aspect. It's remarkable. Comparisons are useless because there's just nothing at all like it.
