Didn't know how sore my rhomboids were til I did this. I've laid on the ball but not using the arm movement. It hurt like hell but once I was finished with both exercises, I felt a freedom in my neck that was new to me! Amazing! Thanks!
Definitely not. It's better than just massaging yourself using a ball, but without the active movement component you're missing keys to the prize of lasting pain relief.
Thanks for posting this coach. I get a repeated flare-up on my right side, maybe once a month or so. I tried your exercise and it brought me down 3-4 notches and a day later its down even more, almost to 0. With the ball it was very painful to do the rotation and in the clockwise direction (on right side) I would get a “pop” when it was straight out to the side .. something really is messed up in there! The other side had no pop. I did the rotations really slowly around the pop point and also held it in that area for a bit to try to calm that muscle down a bit.
You know it! There will be something in the first seven videos here that can help you out: www.youtube.com/@PrecisionMovementCoach/search?query=brachialis Thanks for following along and commenting, and let us know if you have any more questions :) - Coach Joshua, Team PM
I have both spiky balls I got from channel Ocramed Health, and lacrosse balls and so I noticed tremendous knots and restrictions in my rhomboids for which I do asmr and for my particular situation, because it is so chronic and the knots thick and numerous...lacrosse balls can have limited and effective results however, when I lay down on the spiky balls and let it penetrate deep into the rhomboid I can tell it is doing things the lacrosse ball simply can't reach. Perhaps worth consideration for some. Good luck and thanks!
Apologies if this isn't the place for this question / request but I'm wondering if you have ever dealt with men's Diastasis recti. Since having suffered chronic obesity I have had trouble doing abdominal heavy workouts without the danger or onset of severe stomach cramps. Or if anyone here might recommend a video. I like your instruction so maybe in the future you might tackle that topic.
Hi, and thanks for the suggestion. In your case, we recommend that you get started on the Low Back Pain Solution program. It contains progressive content that will help you to rebuild your core: www.precisionmovement.coach/low-back-pain-solution/ Take a look and let us know if you have any questions :) - Coach Joshua, Team PM
Ok..here I have a question! Are these (just as you've said) just painkillers which means that they're temporarly? Or ? How much do we have to do them to really treat that area?
Hi, and that's a great question. These routines are just one piece of the puzzle. Active people will occasionally experience pain, get injured, or need a painkiller, even if they have addressed the root cause or a deeper issue. It's good to have them in your toolkit, no matter what. If you think you have a deeper issue, check out the Shoulder Pain Solution program in the video description. Let us know if that helps or if you have any more questions :) - Coach Joshua, Team PM
@PrecisionMovementCoach So, for the people who are not doing those hard activities.. Is doing the DMT along with some painkillers can be enough to maintain a healthy body?
The real pain killer. I felt a good release of tightness from a 45 min walk and a pilates class. Your moves really helped. Now about a 3/10. Thanks
Yay!

I know that a good massage can be expensive, but wouldn't that be considered the gold standard?
I'll try this exercise tonight! Rhank you!
Definitely not. It's better than just massaging yourself using a ball, but without the active movement component you're missing keys to the prize of lasting pain relief.
Mid back pain after slight over doing it on a curl machine at the Y today. Pain decreased from a 7 to 4. I'll take it!

Should you do both sides ?. Thank U
It won't hurt and move movement is always better, but is not necessary for the goal of which is to decrease pain in a single area.

For the second excercise, would it be more beneficial if to do this under slight load i.e using dumbells
Nope.
Do it as demonstrated for optimal results.

What to do when pain level is at 9-10 (after a pop) and just moving the wrong way causes extreme pain? For sure can’t handle the ball part.
Do what you can
