Great videos on the jet star 3 . They are the only ones out there. I recently bought a 1967 jet star 3 super in excellent shape except for the front steering compartment keeps overflowing from the breather which tells me hydraulic fluid has to be getting in there from the piston and the sector gear . Not a easy fix . Looks as though the entire front end has to be ripped apart. Doesn't seem to critical to me , I just add a little hydraulic oil every once and a while and never have to worry about the steering compartment getting low , however, I get tired of having to put drip pans under it all the time . How is yours ? Any leaks up front ? I've rebuilt alot of torque amplifiers on Farmall 300s and 400s .I don't know if it's just me , but this Moline seems alot harder to work on . I have to get my neighbor just to help me get that awkward hood off for a start . Brakes were a lot harder to get to also unless you took the foot plates off which is a job in itself. Love the tractor anyway. Its built like a tank . I'm in north east Ohio about 25 minutes south of Lake Erie . What are you using in your transmission/rear-end for oil . Manual calls for 80w . All the Moline folks say to use hy-Tran or equivalent if it has the ampli-torque which makes sense. The Farmalls use it because the gear lube is too thick to flow into the planetary gears well ,especially in cold weather . Thanks again for that video. Nicely done. Bob K
I don’t have any leaks up front. I always use 80-90 in the rear end, and have not had any issues. I don’t use them much in the winter though. The JetStar hood is a pain to take off by yourself. They did a much better job with the 302 hood. I am in north central Ohio.Thanks for your comments!

I am doing the same to a jet star 3 industrial , where did you get your clutch alignment tool at.
