  • Installing the shifter back in the 835. I was hoping this would be the problem and we were glad to find out that it was. after the shifter was installed the transmssion is shifting correctly and working fine. will be working on cleaning it up and getting it ready to some tilling. we will be vacuuming and cleaning up the cab. we will also be checking all the fluids and making sure they are all up to full.

Did the same job in 1992. The parts tat came from the factory where incorrect. they had been placed in the wrong bin. Took three months to get the correct part. Good tractor.

Wow that’s crazy! I got these parts from Shawn herl and it was super quick and easy. Also less than half the price of the dealer.

We aren’t getting rid of our 850, 875 or D145 anytime soon. Hell no. Too good of tractors.

The more we do to it the more we seem to like it! Seems to be a very good tractor.

@@lifeonthefinkfamilyfarm our D145 blew its V8 years ago. It has a Cummins 12 valve in it now, around 200hp. Built like a tank! The other 2 are set around 335hp. Great machines!
