Your nails so beautiful. I’m researching the company to see if I want to invest in purchasing a set. Even with the lifting on your nails, they still looked stunning. Thank you so much for sharing.

What a coincidence that I searched gelcare and found this vid the day you posted it LOL. I ordered some of their gel colors yesterday since salon services are getting so expensive nowadays. I also got a lamp from amazon. I wanted to recommend that you get an actual gel remover. It comes in a polish bottle, also from amazon. You just have to file the top layer, use the remover and scrape it off 6 minutes later (careful to not get it on skin, it will sting). Saves a lot of time and acetone is not needed. Thanks for the vid! Can't wait to get my gelcare order 😝although I ordered coconut milk too and it looks pretty sheer on you

I’ll have to try that remover out you’re talking about! Sounds like an easier way to get the polish off! Coconut milk is pretty sheer but with three layers it can build up and if you want something more I’d recommend cloud!

@@deconstrut omg I wish I would've seen cloud, its exactly what I am going for. I came across oat but it looked too opaque. Thanks for the rec!

You’re great at nail art! You should post more videos doing your nails and how to do nail art! 😊

Thanks for putting this together, I also just began gel polish and got a bunch of colors, top coat and base coat from GelCare but everything else from Amazon, works the same! The only thing I have noticed with using GelCare polish vs Gelish, for example, is that GelCare seems harder to remove! Not sure what that’s about. So I was mostly interested in watching someone else remove the GelCare polish and would be interested in more detailed footage on your process/technique/tips. I loveeee gel polish now but the removal is so hard!
    P.s. Your designs look amazing!!

Thank you! I haven’t tried other brands yet but definitely agree that removing gel polish is a PAIN! I find the heating mitts helped me a lot, meant I didn’t need to soak my nails as long

It's also cause gelcare is 10 free of chemical put into nail/gel polish. I really want to try this brand and actually this cure machine so thanks for your inputs!

I’ve been doing my nails in gel polish for a very long time, since 2017
I has so excited to try out the Gel care, just after a fiew manicures my nails started to hurt sooooo much took out the gel to find a horrific view of my nails lifting, turning yellowish
Contacted Gel care but did not get the help hopping for they just told me there politic after sale and to read the instructions and it was probably me that did not do the steps right…
I took my gel nails off july 2022 and Im still dealing with it now! My nails look way better but the shape of my nails have changed (not even) and I can tell that they still need time off!
I will NEVER put Gel care on my nails ever again! Be careful girls!

Hi. I’ve been doing a lot of reading regarding safety of gel polish application. One thing that seems crucial is that they need to be used a system. i.e. the right base with the right polish and top coat, but more importantly, that the lamp used is the right lamp for the system. Not all led/uv lamps are created equal. Firstly, there is how much light they emit, but also what the correct wave length is to cure the product. Under cured product can lead to lifelong allergies, which means you’d no longer be able to use not only gel polish, but also certain products within dentistry, so definitely something you want to avoid. I’d strongly recommend against encouraging people to buy a different lamp for the system.
If you’d like more information about this, I’d recommend The Salon Life here on RUclips.

I having been thinking about purchasing the Gelcare system for a while now and have convinced myself it’s worth it. How do you get the nail art colors to look opaque - do you put multiple coats on the designs? Would love to see more nail art tutorials!

I just used one coat of the green, depending on the colour you may need more than one coat and I would recommend curing each layer in between :)

Great video! Are the heating mitts helpful? I’ve been thinking about ordering.. let me know 😊

I find them helpful! Especially now as we’re moving into the colder months, it helps lift the gel a bit easier. I do find it hard to maneuver both hands in but if you’re working one at a time it’s fine :)

I'm so jealous your nails stay for longer than a week. My nails lift so quickly. I don't know what I'm doing wrong😞

Your nails are hot - it’s called a heat spike - it’s the polish molecules curing . The polish it tacky - you need to wipe it with remover then it’s not tacky

Oh no! I would try curing it longer, might be the lamp you’re using
