Haven't finished the video yet but when you mentioned someone saying that the front cover looks like she's playing with fire and the back cover looks like she's been burnt, it made me think of evermore (the song). The vibe is very similar. Like when she says "I replay my footsteps on each stepping stone trying to find the one where I went wrong writing letters addressed to the FIRE". I absolutely love the idea that this album is about that, about self reflection. I relate a lot to that. Also with "I rewind the TAPE all it does is pause" or "floors of a cabin creaking under my steps" (the photos look like they could have been taken in a cabin). I might be wrong but I think that the album is gonna be really dark at times but also very hopeful like evermore. This album's gonna be about this journey she mentioned in evermore. I'm so excited at the thought.

I'm just watching this video and I'm shocked that you guessed the pattern of 2 re-records and a brand new album with just the Midnights announcement, OMG!!!!!!! I love you guys so much
Taylor said in an interview that she thought the name of the album "Lover" could be " Daylight " but later she changed her mind.
And now midnight so it makes sense of it is from that's perspective
To me the aesthetics is 100% 70s. The clothes, the decor, the furntiure, the vinyls... To me the sound will Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks maybe even some Abba. She hasn't exaclty fully experimented this genre and I think it'd be amazing. Tbh, I need a 70s vibes Speak Now. It'd clean my skin, hydrate me, destroy my depression, stop my smoking habits and my gluttony. Like if you agree. :D

I saw a TikTok the other day where a theme could be Cinderella! Midnight sharp / blue fits that but idk!
It’s also interesting that two versions of the album being named after crystals (moonstone version & jade green version) … a blood moon is a lunar eclipse during a full moon (there’s one sept 10 & oct 9) the aesthetic feels kinda witchy to me! (Stevie nicks?! Hehe)
Moonstone symbolizes new beginnings, femininity, healing and calmness
Jade stone symbolizes good luck, prosperities, healing and love
Blood moon (lunar eclipse) symbolizes chaos, disruption, an ending/significant/unexpected change
Mahogany (tree) symbolizes strength, guidance on the right path, emotions, spiritual healing

I'm actually using my 3rd Lover diary to write down all of my Midnight theories and predictions so when the album comes out I can go back and see how wrong I am. 🤣 I almost threw up from excitment watching her announce Midnights at the VMAs. I passed out seeing those exclusive vinyl covers because the late 60s-early 70s aesthetic is SENDING ME! I fucking can't anymore with the way she changes styles so easily. The only prediction I'll leave here is the genre will be soft rock with a contemporary edge, mixed with some pop melodies and there will be 1 or 2 features. Sooooo excited for the Midnights era! 💙🌌🕛

about the possibility of a taylena collab, my theories are:
1. as a swiftie/selenator i think for sure it would be a collab in writing too, just because they have always said it would happen when it feels right, so if the song is about something they've experienced together, they would write together.
2. maybe if the album is self-written, then i feel the song could be about the time they dated the jonas brothers - either about how they were there for each other when the relationships didn't work or just about their friendship at that time, how they grew together.
3. the one i am betting on: it's about the time selena was sick, the surgery and everything; which can go both ways - a pov vs pov of that time, their feelings and fears, ooor a sort of letter from taylor to selena about how she felt, how scary it was for her to almost lose her best friend, etc (which i also think we might get even without the feat.)
also, i feel like i need to prepare myself in SO MANY ways for this album, i really don't think we'll be ok after this
