I had Sunday Ticket twice, as a part of DirectTV subscription promotions. Am I in the class? Or, did you have to purchase it separately, as an ala carte, with a one-time payment?

When the NFL and/or the networks STOP having 110 minutes of advertising during a game, then I will be happy to watch the local affiliate.
It is my intent to never watch another commercial again.
Currently, I record the game and fast forward through all commercials. This works fine until the league recognizes that people do not want to watch 2 hours of ads during a 1 hour game.

I do not think that the price of Sunday Ticket was too high. I compare it to the price of attending a single game.. 500 to $1,000

Most of the games of the team I'm a fan of can be bought for 100 -300 dollars. (Talking about Colts, so they're not complete trash or anything)
Obviously, it was considered too high of cost legally speaking, considering every company with the rights wanted to charge less than the NFL demanded.

way high bud. If I was in the region of my favorite team, I would be able to watch it on a local station free of charge. This is a TV experience, not a live experience. You are comparing apples to oranges.
