Hello dear Professor Kayla. Your excellent lessons are excelent and very interesting, that may strengthen my english language, thank you so much for your help and advice, i do appreciate your job. I wish you peace and happness under the sky of prosperity. All the best. Take care and have a good time. Your Student from Algeria.
Hi Kayla. I have already emphasized that you are one of the best RUclipsrs who teaches idioms. Refreshing them today, I decided to make such a comment. I allow myself to disagree with one of your opinion. You advised us never burn bridges. However, I do it from time to time and I feel great afterwards. Because there are people around everyone who do not appreciate a person, but only figure out how to use. Feeling or seeing this, I burn bridges with such "friends" and I recommend everyone to do so. And I do believe that many people have been doing similarly.
Hi Kayla, just wanted to let you know I like your style. You talk about idoms and other useful expressions in a very casual way - which is good - unlike plenty of others, pretending to be teachers, preachers or lecturers - even if good but stuck-up too :-) I'm going to make the most of the stuff you're sharing with
Those r some rlly good expressions. This video is worth ur effort. Tysm for making this video.i learned a lot and I am looking forward to learning more advanced expressions from interesting hour-long videos like this
Kayla, you are the best teacher I ever seen on RUclips! I love your passion and respect to the English Language and to your natural gravity to teach and share your knowledge with people ! God Bless You and Your Family!
I am watching this class and thinking about do it twice just to memorize all the idioms and incorporate it in my daily English practice. Great and Amazing class Kayla, I don’t know what I would do with out your classes. I hope you and your family are doing great.
Great material, quite a few takeaways (even though I haven't finished yet). I would have used this recently: 'to cave in', had I known it. 'to take the high road' - had known this before but forgot it. One request though. These long episodes are difficult to take. Shorter episodes are more inviting, while longer videos are very likely to be skipped. RUclips doesn't always continue from where you left off so it is a bit frustrating to have to find the last idiom you've watched. Smaller chunks, please.
Kayla, Many thanks for these practical lessons! Im from Mexico City and let me tell you that each day in my work (with some clientes in USA and Canada) I put in practice some of the idioms/phrases i have learned from you..
Both your pronunciation and explanation are precious and practical. I guess you are from northern part of USA. I heard how some americans in nortthern part of USA pronounce. Thats how i guessed it. God may give you longevity.
HI Kayla I really enjoy your class, I like to cook a lot and today its my fierst time in your class so I"am hopping to stay with your channel for a looooong time thanks.
Great video, I'm always glad to learn new expressions in English, It would be great to learn some local slangs and expressions from different places in US, like the place you live in, your state for example.

We kind of wish you would include more US idioms and slang expressions in your teaching materials, though, so we could communicate with native speakers of American English on an entirely new level. Also, could you please upload videos a bit more often because we are extensively using them in our ESL classes here at the American Language Center. - ESL students Moscow, Russia
