Peterbilt 520 • McNeilus XC Garbage Truck on Bulky Waste

- Here we have our very own KennysTrucks behind the wheel of this 2018 Peterbilt 520 and hand tossing into a McNeilus XC rear loader. The day after our king city trip, I decided to finally go film Kenny on a bulky route in Elk Grove. This was a fun film as Kenny sure turns on his character once the camera is recording. I’m definitely going to come back to get either a part 2 or film Elk Groves clean up when the piles are much bigger. Hope you guys enjoy, and make sure to check out Kenny’s channel too!

It sure is. Big difference from my old job. I liked it, but they are still cutting hours over there. So I’m glad to be with Republic. The tractor runs everyday in the heavier neighborhoods where piles are usually too big to hand throw. I’m just not with the tractor often as I’m usually better hand throwing
@KennysTrucks Hello Kenny I'm all the way from PA and it's awesome seeing someone like you and your co-worker take the extra few minutes to grab the shovel and debris broom to get the leftover debris off the ground , i NEVER see garbage collection guys using them , around here our guys don't care and would just let the debris on the street.

I work at ConWaste Collecting Bulk Waste, I Like It A Lot, but Clients Who Go Overboard Throwing That Waste, Fill Bags With Mud, Sand, Old Cement Mix or Even 6 Packages of Cement in Each Bag and It's Not Really an Easy Job, but working with them is the best thing that ever happened to me. Hey Guys. Good job. I like to see how you guys doing the same work as i am here where i am. But when you unload the garbage how do you sort the trash? Or is it the dumpster central that sorts it out? You know metal from carton and wood from plastic? At my work we only throw trash inside the truck that can burn and another truck picks up the carton and metal? Protecting our blue planet 🤔
Everything gets separated later at a different facility, however any metal or plastic that’s contaminated gets tossed in the landfill since it can’t be properly reused. Protecting our blue planet is because it’s CNG

Whenever I see toilets being thrown into the garbage truck, the trashmen never seem to use them first. You'd think they would take the opportunity to relieve themselves on the job. As long as they don't flush it.
