I’m thankful that Chad and Tori introduced me to the Naked Marriage Podcast and XO Marriage channel a WHILE ago. I’ve been blessed by listening to wisdom from both of these couples on screen.
So let me get this straight, you are praying for God to tell you who your spouse was and lead you there, yet you decided to date other people to find out who you’re compatible with and see who God told you would be your spouse? And after dating different people, more than one more than two, maybe more, you came back to each other and found out that you’re compatible? That doesn’t sound like God worked it out, sounds like you worked it out. How do we know that this was God? Now, I’m not saying it wasn’t but, what I’m saying is people should wait on God to tell them and lead them to their spouses, which you guys did not do if you guys dated other people and did not wait, you guys just came back together. Waiting means not going out on dates and not have a boyfriend and girlfriend unless God has told you specifically that person were to be your spouse, and even though a date with a person is OK to figure out if God is confirming them to be your spouse, there is a difference with a date and with being in a relationship with someone and it’s not your spouse and then breaking up and then coming back together and saying God put you together after waiting... you did not wait, that is not waiting.
