I think they were going for quality guns in this top 5. There are so many underlever/side lever guns that could have been included but I think they hit the nail on the head for quality and craftsmanship. Yes, a lot below have said why not any of the Hatsan's and I agree I own the 105X Torpedo in .25 and yes it's a great solid gun, accurate and well built. But it doesn't hold a candle to my Weihrauch HW97kt! No comparison whatsoever! The Weihrauch HW77/97k and AA TX200/Prosport are on par with each other for power and accuracy, but the Air Arms series of springers are just gorgeous not to say the Weihrauch isn't but the AA have that Weatherby type bluing and are available with a gorgeous Walnut stock whereas the Weihrauch only come in a synthetic and Beechwood stock. I wouldn't have changed this list at all. Now if they did this again with a hunters perspective in mind, Hatsan would definitely be on the list!
Hi from England. I bought the air arms tx200hc, it is the best underlever springer I have ever owned. Great channel by the way. The lovely lady always brightens my day.
I think the diana 48 sould of been in there also. it has great side lever cocking and is accurate out to 100 to 125 yards with a 19 gr slug. it is a power house of a airrifle. plus the german design and build quality
I own almost 20 air rifles. I was going to get a big bore air rifle because all of mine are .25 caliber and under ... So...as I was thinking about a higher caliber gun and thinking about all themoney spent on all new ammo for that gun ..I was on the edge of thinking I cannot afford another one. So....Then I saw it... the Sumatra ..With this gun I could get as much power or more and use my already sufficient amount of ammunition for it and get more power than a .35 caliber weapon...YES! 99.46 foot pounds of Muzzle energy from a .25 caliber rifle...So I bought the Sumatra in .25 and 500cc of air , an absolute powerhouse. Loved it so much I bought the carbine model also. These Sumatras will shoot a pellet clean through a 2X4 ! That is crazy beautiful power and that is what I love. Target shooting out to 100 yards and beyond and doing it easily. I really wanted a Eunjin model Sumatra but ended up with Seneca .. whch I guess bought the company from Eunjin.. Okay That's enough... I LOVE AIRGUNS!
I’ve both the HW97 Blackline STL and the AirArms TX200MkIII and while the HW is set-up as my main gun, I can see a day where the TX200 will be taking over that spot. It’s such a well defined, behaved springer.
Diana 52 is an oldie but goody. I have a 52 from the early 90's still running on it's original spring and seal. My later model 48 runs just as well and is very accurate.
I think you guys hit it on the head.....great choices on that Top5 but I feel HW 97 should had been number 1 gust cuz it's a iconic air rifle over the air arms. the history behind the HW air rifle it's at a higher standards.....but great pics guys...👍👍 Airgun Depot you Rock... hows the foot feeling??
Just brought a weihrauch hw97 .22 and its super accurate and very powerful will blow right through 12mm ply from 25 yards and near go through the same hole the second shot by the 5th shot you have gone through the first hole at least once. Most accurate springer ive owned and most powerful springer ive owned. Id recommend the hw97 .22 to anyone wanting a accurate powerful springer you will not be disappointed.
I would have to add the Air Arms Pro Sport in walnut. Best looking spring gun by a Mile! (ALMOST as pretty as the Host.) Not to mention Sublime accuracy and shooting cycle. Mike
Thanks for awesome video; Germany, and England are phonominal with airgun building, and design...All I own are from these 2 countries....Although my favourite is the Wiehrauch HW97K, Thanks...
Many years ago I did a lot of research to find a powerful reliable accurate reasonably priced spring rifle and that's why I choose the Diana 460 Magnum. And I'm very proud that is on this top five list and it belongs here. With the 16 grain pellets produces 24 ft lb of energy and is accurate

In Florida, we shoot bullets, and kiss our 2nd. Ammendment Conceal license daily. Well, maybe not daily. I do like shooting pellets in the backyard. To get the distance I need to 70 - 80 feet, I set up my shooting stand in the house, and open the back door about 1/2". I then set my target such that I have a straight line to the bulls eye. No sound from my rifle, but still the thud of the pellet hitting the target. I don't use this much anymore because it takes out the wind factor on my 7.9 gram pellets. Keep up the good, little lady. I have the Walther LGU Hunter and the HW97k shown there. I would put the Walther against any of the other 4 in consistent accuracy. I also have the Walther LGV. You alway here shoots like a pcp. Well the Walthers really do. They don't care how I set the on the bag or where my hand is. My PCP's don't get shot much anymore as I just target shoot. Drawbacks are you will need to order Walther adjustable trigger($20.00) or the Rowan match trigger(50.00) and these guns are pretty heavy. Really thought the Walnut Pro Sport would be number 1 just for looks alone.
I have a TX200HC in .22 and my other "higher end" underlever didn't make the list. It's the Diana 460s "junior partner" the 430L underlever in .177. My other fixed barrel springers are a B3 in .177 and a TS45 in .177. The TS45 reminds me of an SKS in pnuematic form with similar sights and the ability to mount a sling, with an easy cocking effort, and about 600fps it makes a great all day plinker

Would not trade my TX200 22cal HC for any other Springer!! but although I haven't tried a couple of the other rifles that are on the list. I always keep an open mind🤔. But try not to open my wallet as much as I'd like to. It Ain't Easy!!! There's a lot of you that know what I mean! I really enjoy this top 5 when it goes my way. LOL.👍🇺🇸✌
I have the HW97, HW95 and Pro Sport. All excellent guns. But accuracy and ease of use (once you get used to that cocking arm) I have to give it to the Pro Sport.
I own a HW97 K with fiberglass stock and red dot sight. I have rarely shot a more precise air rifle. Thanks for sharing and greetings from northern Germany. 🇺🇸🇩🇪
@@airgundepot I guess I've made a slight translation error. It has to say "polymer stock," of course (my bad 😉) It's called HW97 K BLACK LINE here. I don't know if the air rifle is available in the US in this version, here in Germany it is. And yes, it is really very precise. I hit five shots at a distance of 10 meters (about 11yds) in a shot group the size of a penny on the target. I think that's not bad... 😁😁😁👍
@ekim andersom You may have a point there, Mate. But here in Germany, shooting ranges for air guns are only 10 metres (30 feet) long. Field-target is rarely offered here as a sporting discipline. 😁👍🏼
I have a tuned blue/gray laminated stock like in the video in .22 This German gun can compete with PCP's in accuracy. Mounted a Hawke 4-12x scope on her and can shoot quarter sized groups out to 40 yards easy. I LOVE THIS GUN!!
Great video Jacque! Your personality and performance has added a big spark to the Airgun Depot Marketing. ; - ) I watch, enjoy, and like all of Airgun Depot's videos. I actually like this list, Pro Sport and Hw77 aren't there but they shoot similar enough to the TX 200 & HW97K that they don't need to be there really and the Disnas and LGU are excellent.
HW77K SE Forest Camouflage Laminate - end of. Take it from a UK Airgunner; we are the best airgun shots in the world (we have to be, given our 12ft/lb limit). My baby does 11.69ft/lb with .177 H&N BM heavies (10.65 grns) of instant death to any small game (brain stem shots) up to European rabbit size. My go to bunny sniper shot from a rested position - my baby is no light weight when you add the x18 mag scope (and lamping kit if night time fun is on the cards)!!
HW97K won my comparison over the TX because of the huge loading port, put in a Welsh Willy tuning kit for the very best spring air gun experience, very reliable too.
@DrMossydog it costs a lot more in the uk. Makes it more expensive than any except the tx prosport. And looking at the few reviews ive seen of it online. Its no where near as accurate . It still a very nice rifle and i still want one
Hello Madam... good to see you again... Thank you for your time to make this video.. I mean all videos... lol.... HW 97k I order from you last year is still my #1 ... cuz I still didn’t wanna get any springer yet cuz I get the best... i about to step up to next level of air rifle.... which the better and acuracy bullpup do you think..???... Wildcat mark 2... I looking at it.. I hope I can bring it home this summer... Cuz at Corona virus’s going on right now, business going down hill.... so just hope things getting better.... once again good to see you Madam....
As far as I'm concerned the Diana 460 Magnum in cal .22 is the all time #1... With an average of 870fps and 25fpe with the 14.3 grain Crosman Primiers I get 10 shots in the same hole at 40yds..and it goes through 1/2" plywood like butter at around 30yds!!! It likes anything you feed it and prefers the H&N Trophies, Crosman Premiers and the Predator Polymags. The RWS 460 is the Champ!!!
I totally agree, I have owned the Diana side lever, Hw97k and recently re-purchased my favourite springer the TX200HC! I owned one back in 1996 and wish I’d never sold it, so when it was time to buy another springer, the choice was easy. Yes it’s not the perfect hunting gun as the weight is the biggest drawback but if you can put up with that, you’d take down any small game. I had a HW97 owner tell me the TX trigger is second to the record, I believed this to be personal opinion as they are both amazing triggers. The air arms wins by a hair over the HW97K, a great rifle, due to the aesthetic’s, the deep bluing and gorgeous stock is pretty but not so much practical if carrying through the woods. Still agree that this rifle belongs as the number one springer. I’ve really enjoyed leaving my FX at home to take the TX to the range, feeling that recoil, getting equal accuracy and coming home with pellets. :)
I have a TX200, the safety works perfectly, you have to cock the rifle fully every time. I agree though it is one area of the TX that should be scrutinized, I think it should be an automatic safety but also manual , If you turn off the safety you need to "recock" the lever arms fully to reengage the safety
My Wiehrauch break barrels are two of the best I own, though admittedly one is "technically" a Beeman. I have an HW50 in .22 and a Beeman R9 in .20cal.
@@Happy-Me. thanks! do you do shoot targets with it? was trying to shoot both targets and ground squirrels and rabbits with it. How is it against critters
I disagree,,... the Air Arms TX200 is a better rifle, the simplicity of the piston and internals makes it number one. It is the easiest disassembly and modification rifle on the list by far. I have the Walnut stock and it is easiest the best looking rifle of any kind that I have seen
I got the weihrauch hw 97k blackline and i love it!!! The TX200 is very Nice, but i still love the weihrauch more. THE TX200 has some minor flaws,to me at least.
Was LOOKING FORWARD to the side levers guns. There were none visibly shown. The side lever rifles would hopefully have a threaded barrel you could add or change out the moderator if necessary.
Anyone give me info on the Diane 52 model & how much to repair the side lever,BUT! Its been powered up & shooting more like 17fps so I don't know if the local gunsmith will even look at it, I want to get it back to it's original condition, it's from the 70s or 80s so I think it's worth fixing
That is funny I had to go back and look at the video again. You're right they definitely need to wipe down the rifles before they show them. I own a TX200 and it is a beautiful rifle. But much better when it's clean. LOL good eye brother.👍🇺🇸✌
Hi everyone, does anyone have a solid recommendation for a under/ side lever air rifle under 350 dollars? Al I care about is accuracy in the range from 25 to 75yards. I would like to have the least amount of recoil and hold sensitivity, if any of you have a gun in mind please comment!

HW97K won my comparison over the TX because of the huge loading port, put in a Welsh Willy tuning kit for the very best spring air gun experience, very reliable too.
Hope they continue making lighter better more powerful and accurate above all leaver and break barrel air rifles. Thanks I need a bigger safe.

Excellent calification. The top AIRGUN DEPOT is the blondi!
Hell yeah. She's the only reason why I subcribed to the airgun depot RUclips channel. I just don't know her name. 🤣🤣🤣
@@ericgarcia2287 Me too,
he never says his name.
HW77/97 No1
Thumb up for the info. I'm studying my butt off looking for an accurate under or side lever (affordable) air rifle.
I’ve had a Diana 177 about 15 years ago it was a great gun !
I really d’ont know why the pros sport is not in the first position👀
Air Arms Pro Sport!
Don't you think diana 54 air king is the best sidelever airgun?
For me the number one is a AA pro sport. This gun win all.
My favourite Diana ❣️
Your presentation is awesome
Weiharuch(HW 97) is by far the best overall, accurate and reliable .I have had two TX 200 and both had problems especially with trigger safety.
Second 😎 have the hw97k
Best list ever
What about Weirauch hw77 ?
Excellent review thankyou !!
HW97 all the time every time! Weihrauch period.
Hell yeah!! My tuned HW97 .22 is a tack driver.
If u want fun shooting go for tx 100 or whrauch 97k but if u are hunting go for 460 magnum...
They missed the best one of all Air Arms PRO SPORT this gun out shoots them all got this gun myself in 177 & 22. You just can't fault it in any way.
That is a fabulous gun.
Pro sport ........every time.
Yes, that is a fabulous one!
VERY NICE
My choice 460 diana
Hi i have an airarms tx200hc its realy the best springpowered rifle u can get gretings from norway
It is extremely good!
AA pro sport?
Why you never give the price range?????
Good list. No surprises here.
Would be nice to get a price range
500-750
I have 5 top end Spring rifles and this one is the best for many reasons. I sometimes wished I'd have bought it first and not last in my line up!
what gun is it?
@@yourchava TX200
@@Happy-Me. thanks! do you do shoot targets with it? was trying to shoot both targets and ground squirrels and rabbits with it. How is it against critters
@@yourchava I shoot HFT competition with my TX200.
Very Entertaining...
Weihrauch HW97 has to be on the very top undoubtedly
I disagree,,... the Air Arms TX200 is a better rifle, the simplicity of the piston and internals makes it number one. It is the easiest disassembly and modification rifle on the list by far. I have the Walnut stock and it is easiest the best looking rifle of any kind that I have seen
Weihrauch. ALL. DAY. LONG. 🇧🇪
Awesome very good stock
Walnut prosport
I got the weihrauch hw 97k blackline and i love it!!!
The TX200 is very Nice, but i still love the weihrauch more.
THE TX200 has some minor flaws,to me at least.
Walther LGU varmint
I sure wish the Tx 200 MkIII came in 25 caliber. Since the want a .25, looks like I'll be going with the Weihrauch HW97K.
N 1 very accurate, dimes all day long ,,awesome rifle
Was LOOKING FORWARD to the side levers guns. There were none visibly shown. The side lever rifles would hopefully have a threaded barrel you could add or change out the moderator if necessary.

The Diana 56 Target Hunter is a side lever.
Super like
Anyone give me info on the Diane 52 model & how much to repair the side lever,BUT! Its been powered up & shooting more like 17fps so I don't know if the local gunsmith will even look at it, I want to get it back to it's original condition, it's from the 70s or 80s so I think it's worth fixing
I'm first viewer. Airguns 4 life!
👍 👍
fair classification...
Only the AA needed a swipe before this review
That is funny I had to go back and look at the video again. You're right they definitely need to wipe down the rifles before they show them. I own a TX200 and it is a beautiful rifle. But much better when it's clean. LOL good eye brother.👍🇺🇸✌
Nice job
Thanks
Airarms tx200hc and airarms pro sport is my favourites
Very nice gan thanks
Hi everyone, does anyone have a solid recommendation for a under/ side lever air rifle under 350 dollars? Al I care about is accuracy in the range from 25 to 75yards. I would like to have the least amount of recoil and hold sensitivity, if any of you have a gun in mind please comment!
