Cheers Guys, see ya on the next one!
Great to see a build that’s been built for a reason and everything selected for a purpose rather than just throwing an open check book at them.
Amazing Landcruiser.
Great vid mate! I've got a modded 200, take it everywhere and it's never let me down. Beasts offroad. Thought about a chop but not sure I would really utilise it at the moment so leaving as is for the time being. Keep up the good work. Cheers:)
Cheers mate, gotta love the 200s, such great touring rigs. 💪🏻
hey mate mint truck, hearing you talk about the 79 vs 200 I felt id jump in. I have 2 79's I started with a 05 1hdfte and just recently bought a dual cab v8, prior to purchase I was hearing a lot about the wheel track and people extending them and such and was worried id have to lash out the modify my new Ute, however after 6 months and several bigger trips im convinced people are playing it up the thing drives great but I agree that the interior leaves much to be desired haha. great video mate keep it up!
Great feedback, cheers mate would love to have a yarn a little more about the 79s as I don’t own one. A good mate of mine had just brought a Sandy torpe 79 and would be good to shed some light from someone who’s has completed proper trips in one. If you don’t mind I can msg you on Instagram or Facebook👍🏻
@@MatTwentyEight yea not a problem mate i shoot ya message on smoko at work tomoz if ya want, dont really know the science on it just dont seem like that bigger deal haha
Totally agree mate. My 79 is stock as far as wheel track, still has rear leafs, no chassis extension and it drives fine.
I think a lot of people just do it because everyone else does it.. 🤷♂️
Same here. My 79 is fine.
I think people just love spending money on things they don't need.
I like they way you sit upright in the 70s but the cab is quite small but still I'm STILL FEELIN IT. 👌
Absolute rig mate!! 😍 Great run-through 👍
I thought Gxl stock tyres were 285/65/17 ?
Hey mate would you have any Pics, video inspo on how you came up with and made the pantry? It’s a great idea. As I’m getting my rig ready for the cape next year.
Hey mate, I’ve got a few pics when I started with it. Jump over to my Insta or Facebook page and message me. I’ll send some through for you! 👍🏻
How the hell do you afford that at 28? At 25 I and another mate lived in a 12’x 12’ marquee for a year while shooting and we were flat out affording a tent.
How do you do it?
Nice vid. Do you not have to put the side indicators on with the Gvm increase? Cheers from up the road.
Hey mate, cheers for checking it out. Yes your correct legally I should have cat 6 indicators in my Mirrors or in my quarter panel for GVM purposes
@@MatTwentyEight They are bloody ugly.
@@AnotherBeautifulStretch haha, yeah I agree. But not too bad if we can get away with them in Mirrors now.
How’s ya rig going anyway?
@@MatTwentyEight All good, changing a few things for a big trip. It never stops!
@@MatTwentyEight is that a ram mount for your iPad?
Nice rig m8. Do you think the 3900k is enough on the GVM? What does she weigh fully loaded including the tinny? 🚤
Hey mate, depends on how your touring. For all the crap I take. No it’s not 🤣
Pushes every bit of that 3900 with tinny! 🙏🏼
