Well I think that the first line spoken by Arnab Goswami is the crux of the whole debate. "People in Germany are called Germans, people in England are called English, people in America are called Americans....And Its so simple therefore says Mr Bhagvat. I would simply like to ask the congressmen and others of the same kind that what a muslim man should be called or would like to be called if he is citizen in Great Britain ? Should he be called British as per the social norms or rather an Arabic or Asian muslim ???? Secondly, the name Bharat originates from the name of the King Bharat who was the ancestor of Kauravas and Pandavas in the epic of Mahabharat. It is believed that he was the king who ruled over the entire country and thus united it as a kingdom. This was just like China which gets its name from the king "Qinh" or "Chinn" who had ruled over entire Chinese region.
