Interesting choice by the Bruins to undergo a full jersey redesign for only a single season. I don’t think that’s ever been done intentionally as far as I know
The third jersey looks amazing, and I can’t wait to get it! For the other two, they are… okay. But I will say, I hate how for the last few seasons, every new jersey made by Adidas has abandoned the different colour for the neck line (Seattle home/away, Leafs Bieber, Canucks new Skate, Arizona wordmark, etc.). It makes the jerseys look like Walmart T-shirts!
Adidas necklines were a mixed bag for the most part. I feel like if these had come out in 2018, they'd probably have a gigantic gold neck, which would've felt out of place. It's like they never quite figured out how to balance these things, unlike the ones from previous eras
I think it looks amazing on some of those, particularly the Seattle jerseys. The Seattle ones are so clean precisely because of that design element, I’d argue. But yes, that should be more unique to them and thus not repeated too much
@@estellegrignon The fact that they had different sections allowed designers to get creative; you can go full ring with/without inner circle contrast, full ring but omit the front diamond or use another tone, half ring with/without inner circle, just the front diamond, or just the inner circle. They also have loose laces, straight laces, or no laces. And of course the awesome Winter Classic sweater style! The new designs choose to use nothing and it looks bad. In my opinion the only jersey that looks good like that is the Wings home, because it always has been like that.
@@CS.94 I have the Kraken home and I’ll give you that it looks good. I mean, the jersey’s general design is great! But the away jersey suffers badly in my opinion. A blue half collar or a teal inner ring could have been great for creating contrast.
@@estellegrignonThe necks have the two necklines going around, but most teams originally made them the same color. Thats why we had those horrible thick collars. Then there was the ugliness where teams made the front and back of the next a different color. A lot of teams fixed it since then, getting rid of the different front/back colors and using different colors for the necklines. But I’m pretty sure a lot of the new adidas designs actually had an updated template that got rid of most of the terrible collar designs.
Just heard that Boston is petitioning the league claiming that they were the first team to use the shiny gold in their uniforms, and they want Vegas to stop using it.
I really like when teams use the metallic gold, or really the metallic finish in general. The Flyers, Kings, and Sabres all had it for their 50th anniversaries and it really pops (especially on white jerseys) and the Canes had the silver in their anniversary jersey from last season
Bruins doing something that rarely ever happens only keeping those jerseys for a year, but even more incredible that they have been a franchise for 100 years and stayed in the same city
Huge miss for the B’s. Socks sticking with black is awful. The alternates look good. The “6 cup sleeve striping” looks terrible, and the addition of VGK sparkle gold is just a kick in the teeth.
I'm confused by the move by the Canes. I thought the idea was to move away from the red Adidas, and the 25th anniversary seemed to be really beloved by fans. Why go back to something less popular? I also wish the Hurricanes would redesign their away jersey. It feels so weird to see them wear basically three different crests all year long (four, if you count the one-off Whalers uniform)
I love the Bruins' extra arm striping and the simplified spoked B logo that varies in color from home and away. It's subtle but effective upgrade - I'm surprised at how dated last year's look to me already. I hope these jerseys make a comeback to some extent later - perhaps without the metallic gold (I think the gold looks great but it's gotta be way more expensive).
The 3rd jersey is close to perfect. The other two are pretty pedestrian. The gold stripping is reminiscent of the Sabres 50th which was just okay as well.
Great Video as always, love the home and away jerseys especially the front crest and sleeves and stripes and I love the history here,I don’t really care about the alternate jersey it’s not my favorite.
I'm iffy with them having a metallic gold, since I prefer the original yellow but overall I don't mind the home and away apart from that. The alternate is classy and vintage, works great for a historic team.
The Bruins should just go back to the 70s Bobby Orr era throwbacks in 24/25. Keep the old school spoked B logo along with the gold shoulder yolk. Start their 2nd century with the era most Bruins fans cherished. Also, it coincides with the NHL move to fanatics so they might as well start that year with a fresh look.
The gold used on the Bruins home and away looks super clean. It seems they went a similar route to how Buffalo did their 50th. Subtle enough yet special, wonderfully executed.
Very disappointed that the Canes won’t stick with their anniversary jerseys. They’re far and away their best design

The shape of the years on the collar of the alt are the same shape as the welcome to ___ town signs in Massachusetts.
Reports from very reliable bruins insiders say the alternate set will be brown helmets as well as brown gloves and socks
We did see the brown gloves and socks in the video, so that makes sense.
The Bruins have always been one the best

The gold that sparkles is dope
the helmets on the thirds will be brown if im not mistaken.
Kinda meh.
Also while I'm glad the Hurricanes are bringing back the red, it's a pity it's not the anniversary one.

Looking forward to the Season Preview of jerseys, was a fun watch last year too! Love all of these vids
Yes! I'm just starting to plan out that video now. Planning to have it ready to release in October just as the season gets underway.
@@icethetics AWESOME!
Metallic gold is very cool. Great video, Chris!
YESSSSSSS LETS GO
Great video, Chris!
Thanks!
These will be so cool,I definitely have a good idea for a jersey
Happy anniversary to The Bruins. 😀👍🏒
Canes Anniversary jersey looks so much better very sad they didn’t get to keep it this upcoming season
The Bruins said the pants, gloves, and helmets will be brown.
I love the white one so much
Huge miss for the B’s. Socks sticking with black is awful. The alternates look good. The “6 cup sleeve striping” looks terrible, and the addition of VGK sparkle gold is just a kick in the teeth.
Completely agree. The home/away jerseys are the ugliest I've seen since the Buffaslug
Why didn't they go with brown?!
Getting the third jersey customized for my last name and number, love the look of it

Those bruins uniforms are absolute beauties! I’m a little bit in love with them, they make such a great set! The players will look awesome in them!
I know we’re all sick of complaints about jersey ads, but seeing it on a “retro” jersey (like the B’s thirds) just seems so wrong on so many levels.
Truer words never spoken.
I love gold in jerseys, but it looks off for the Bruins. Probably just because I'm so used to yellow.
Will wait for sale for them but the third is very soild not gonna lie
that sleeve striping is awesome. now if they could actually get a real horn for that arena

This is nice, the home and away are terrible. Missed opportunity for gold socks to return!!!
gold socks should never return
@@jake_lacroix5417 Gold socks should absolutely return. They worked for 94 years and are uniquely Bruins. Now my team looks like Penguins wannabes...
The gold socks are ugly and feel out of place. And how could the Bruins be Penguin wannabes when the Penguins copied the Bruin's color scheme?
Great Video as always, love the home and away jerseys especially the front crest and sleeves and stripes and I love the history here,I don’t really care about the alternate jersey it’s not my favorite.
The third sweater should look great with brown helmet and gloves.
I think the 3rd should've been darker, personally.
They all look great!!!
Cant wait until the Bruins go back to their proper jerseys next year.
Sabres 50th 2.0
These look great! Reminds me of the Kingston Frontenacs rebrand from last year. Both I think are going to be keepers for years
Love these so much more than their current set. I would love them to become permanent
Great looking jerseys... Too bad Adidas isnt making them anymore.
these are made by adidas, fanatics takes over starting in 2024-2025
@@tygoose right on, thank you for that bit of info. I was afraid I had missed my chance to get the jerseys I like.
like for the video, nevertheless bruins has poor color scheme and logo

No. Just go back to the original that were a zillion times sharper.
The gold used on the Bruins home and away looks super clean. It seems they went a similar route to how Buffalo did their 50th. Subtle enough yet special, wonderfully executed.
Too much going on with the sleeves
I have never liked that dull logo. So vilify me.
We're happy for ya Boston but that's too much glitter.
Not a fan. Pretty basic and what the hell is with the glitter?!
Well deserved MEH
I don't like the Bruins or Boston at all but I will say that their jerseys look good though
"FLASH REPORT" LOL cringe
Boston might be my least favourite team but goddamn if they don't have some of the best jerseys in the league.
Just missing the laces over the NHL crest.
