Luis character was really the biggest upgrade character wise. Hope we see more of his character as DLC when he created Nemesis before joining los iluminados where he created all RE4 monsters, his story is great link between RE3 and RE4 events.
dedicated my lunch breaks and my day to watch this entire thing. all i can say is i feel like when Leon says " you gotta be ****** kidding me" and " are you serious" it's not directed the infected, its personally directed to the game developers 🤣. MKiceandfire never disappoints with good gameplay.
This is one of the best remakes ever considering that before you run slow as a snail and now you run fast.This remake includes the iconic merchant who is a great man.

I never finished first mission when I was a young and play this on PS2. And I never got a chance to finish it later time either. At those times this game was incredibly scary to me. Thanks for wonderfully play this game. It makes me miss my childhood.

For me that first village is perhaps the hardest part of the game. Leon arrives with only a hand gun, little ammo or first aid. In the original i seem to remember the chainsaw boss was relentless in the attack as were the villagers. In this new version the chainsaw boss appears to be easily evaded and the villagers pause before attacking. Maybe my recall is off but they were more aggressive as i remember. Took me many attempts to defeat the first village and i think it was more by luck than skill that i finally got through. This new release looks beautiful and seems to be faithful to the original as hoped. Thanks for posting.

They should have some target practise at the very beginning so you can get familiar with firing the pistol and using the knife When I entered the village I got killed dozens of times because I wasn't use to firing the pistol or using the knife

Ashley being so cool throughout this remake is a breath of fresh air. She was a horrible brat in the original and annoying and made you wonder why are you (Leon) going through hell to rescue this horrible person. In this version she has a great personality and is humble and helpful and at the end she even begs Leon to save himself with the parasite extraction before extracting hers.

Think of their relationship like a brother and sister that would do anything to save each other. If you're questioning why Ashley acted the way she was, simply because Leon has gained her trust and she thinks of him as precious. It's the same for Leon, obviously Ashley IS his mission, so his whole priority is HER. Then when he saw how Ashley is just such a sweet and kind woman, he knew that saving her is not just a mission, but something that he must do no matter what

@True god I feel like content creator when upload walk-through gameplay should do at least 40+ minutes, it's good amount of time for decent chunk of content, plus ain't no way they are playing 15 minutes in one section, at least like an hour and a half. Some crazy go for 4 to 5 hours of playing.

I just beat the game and I cried after because I’m a hardcore fan of RE I’ve beaten every single game since I was a kid and I cried because it’s a gift to us and we will never know when a new resident evil will ever be released and if we will be alive to experience it because life is unpredictable never know what can happen. I just Remember being a kid playin re1 on my ps1 and being blown away and to see how far the franchise has come it’s really a treat and I cherished every moment of it. I wish we get a remake of code Veronica next that’s a underrated game in the series in my opinion.
How would you rank the games? Ive played re8, re7, re2 remake and re3 remake in that order. I would rank them in the same order that i played them. Maybe 7 and 8 and equal. But i cant wait to play this one

Rest assured, they will. Way too much money there to ignore it for long. Remakes take time though, and we have quite a few gems lined up (unannounced, of course) before we see an RE1 remake with Unreal Engine 4. Positive thoughts ^^
Ashley's the real superheroine here. She took catapulted flaming rocks, parasites, and even an axe to the head, yet she just brushed it off without taking even one herb. She's just 'ok' no matter what. She didn't even bother to fight the mobs cause they weren't worth her time. She makes the herb-munching Leon look so weak.
You have to applaud the makers, writers and producers of the Resident Evil series. Thankfully I was 10 when I played Resident Evil 1 in 1996, it was mindblowing back then. Then there was 2, 3, Code Veronica, Outbreak, Zero and Resident Evil 4. I was just blown away, by how many games of the Resident Evil series, were just amazing games. I never felt I would get that feeling again, with Resident Evil games. After 5 and 6 went in a different direction like 4, yet were nowhere near as good as 4. I felt maybe we might see the Resident Evil franchise finish. The Revlation games were good on the PS3, they had the same feel to them, yet the Operation Racoon City didn't do so well. So like many others, I was like well we can always play the classics on PS4, as they had ben released on there Then Resident Evil 7 was announced, with a lot of sense of going back to survival horror. That game was excellent and I really enjoyed it. I would never of imagined, after Resident Evil 6, Capcom would release 5 brilliant games. People were not happy with 3, yet I still loved it and yes it was short but it at least made Capcom, realise their mistake. So to have Resident Evil 2,3 + 4 remakes, along with 7 and Village. You have to say, Capcom have done unbelievably well. Considering the first game was released way back in 1996, so to keep on producing this many years down the line, is just incredible. One of my all time favourites, Code Veronica, they honestly could make that game, incredible as well. If they just follow what they have done with the 4 remake, they really could make that game one of the best remakes. Its exciting to see what they remake in the future, Code Veronica, Resident Evil 1,5 + 6. Also with rumoured Revelations 3, Hunk and Residnt Evil 9. We really could be on to another generation of amazing games from the Resident Evil franchise. Also have to mention, that being Silent Hill 2 Remake, its the 90s all over again (I wish).
I'm a mo cap performer and wanted to share a painful story of mine involving the remake of RE 2. Might make the agonizing regret somehow berable...:) I was training my voice regarding voice acting since 2007. Several years later - by accident - I did some modeling jobs and focused more on a raw motion/performance capture skills, leaving voice acting behind a bit. In late November of 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the 2019 RE2 Remake. I lost the part early on. Now, many years later when I see how successfull these remakes are (now with RE 4 remake released) I can't believe I squandered such an opportunity. It goes without saying that in this business one audition can change your whole life. I'm trying not to give up though, I recently was approached by Platige Image about my latest voice demo but I feel like it's kinda a castle made of sand.
That's quite a story! For what it's worth, at least you were considered for such an illustrious part. I imagine the competition for it must have been insane.
@@LuxAeterna22878 What I regret is making a rookie mistake by not advertising myself as a mo cap actor who could also do voice over. For example; the new Leon is based on Romanian model but voiced by an american actor. I was able to combine those two but failed to present myself as such.

@@AnxMa Hmm. While I won't say I've had that exact experience, I think I could see why that'd be difficult to let go. I will say that I do know people who are very successful in the entertainment industry and working on very high-profile stuff doesn't bring lasting fulfillment. Not that it's wrong to chase opportunity, obviously (I'm a musician and a part of me desperately craves recognition). Just that being at the top of the mountain may not be better than where you are now.
Playing RE4R made me relive the 14 Year-Old me playing the OG RE4, excited but nervous and also struggling to manage my inventory just like the old days Capcom made another Masterpiece on a masterpiece, except Ada.... They better fix her on Separate Ways

The original resident evil 4 is a classic and it's a game where you were ask gamers what is your top 20 games of all time and most of them will put resident evil 4 on that list... But when I first heard that they're going to remake resident evil 4, I was excited yet for a bit of nervous because it's a classic and a lot of times you should just leave the classics alone.. there are perfect examples in the movie industry where they remade movies and it turns out to be horrible... But they did a perfect example of how to do a remake.. they didn't take anything away they added better graphics and I do really love the relationship between Ashley and Leon where they're trying to survive together and you can see the friendship building between them not like in the original where Ashley always trying to sleep with Leon.... But there's one thing that I miss from the original resident evil 4 is that throw mines gun... I love how they stick into enemies and beep until it blows up but now they use it as in arrow instead of a gun and I prefer the gun.. it's probably my favorite weapon and resident evil franchise.

@True god I feel like content creator when upload walk-through gameplay should do at least 40+ minutes, it's good amount of time for decent chunk of content, plus ain't no way they are playing 15 minutes in one section, at least like an hour and a half. Some crazy go for 4 to 5 hours of playing.
I always appreciate your no commentary gameplay not to mention you are good at it compared to others who keep talking while playing like an amateur

I just beat the game and I cried after because I’m a hardcore fan of RE I’ve beaten every single game since I was a kid and I cried because it’s a gift to us and we will never know when a new resident evil will ever be released and if we will be alive to experience it because life is unpredictable never know what can happen. I just Remember being a kid playin re1 on my ps1 and being blown away and to see how far the franchise has come it’s really a treat and I cherished every moment of it. I wish we get a remake of code Veronica next that’s a underrated game in the series in my opinion.
How would you rank the games? Ive played re8, re7, re2 remake and re3 remake in that order. I would rank them in the same order that i played them. Maybe 7 and 8 and equal. But i cant wait to play this one
@@maxh4651 this is definitely one of the better remakes I think 4 and 2 are about equal but this was a great game enjoyed it if you loved the original you will love this has that nostalgia feeling even more if you unlock the original soundtrack to the game

Ashley's the real superheroine here. She took catapulted flaming rocks, parasites, and even an axe to the head, yet she just brushed it off without taking even one herb. She's just 'ok' no matter what. She didn't even bother to fight the mobs cause they weren't worth her time.
She makes the herb-munching Leon look so weak.
You have to applaud the makers, writers and producers of the Resident Evil series. Thankfully I was 10 when I played Resident Evil 1 in 1996, it was mindblowing back then. Then there was 2, 3, Code Veronica, Outbreak, Zero and Resident Evil 4. I was just blown away, by how many games of the Resident Evil series, were just amazing games. I never felt I would get that feeling again, with Resident Evil games. After 5 and 6 went in a different direction like 4, yet were nowhere near as good as 4. I felt maybe we might see the Resident Evil franchise finish. The Revlation games were good on the PS3, they had the same feel to them, yet the Operation Racoon City didn't do so well. So like many others, I was like well we can always play the classics on PS4, as they had ben released on there Then Resident Evil 7 was announced, with a lot of sense of going back to survival horror. That game was excellent and I really enjoyed it. I would never of imagined, after Resident Evil 6, Capcom would release 5 brilliant games. People were not happy with 3, yet I still loved it and yes it was short but it at least made Capcom, realise their mistake. So to have Resident Evil 2,3 + 4 remakes, along with 7 and Village. You have to say, Capcom have done unbelievably well. Considering the first game was released way back in 1996, so to keep on producing this many years down the line, is just incredible. One of my all time favourites, Code Veronica, they honestly could make that game, incredible as well. If they just follow what they have done with the 4 remake, they really could make that game one of the best remakes. Its exciting to see what they remake in the future, Code Veronica, Resident Evil 1,5 + 6. Also with rumoured Revelations 3, Hunk and Residnt Evil 9. We really could be on to another generation of amazing games from the Resident Evil franchise. Also have to mention, that being Silent Hill 2 Remake, its the 90s all over again (I wish).

I'm a mo cap performer and wanted to share a painful story of mine involving the remake of RE 2.
Might make the agonizing regret somehow berable...:) I was training my voice regarding voice acting since 2007.
Several years later - by accident - I did some modeling jobs and focused more on a raw motion/performance capture skills, leaving voice acting behind a bit. In late November of 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the 2019 RE2 Remake. I lost the part early on. Now, many years later when I see how successfull these remakes are (now with RE 4 remake released) I can't believe I squandered such an opportunity.
It goes without saying that in this business one audition can change your whole life.
I'm trying not to give up though, I recently was approached by Platige Image about my latest voice demo but I feel like it's kinda a castle made of sand.
That's quite a story! For what it's worth, at least you were considered for such an illustrious part. I imagine the competition for it must have been insane.
@@LuxAeterna22878 What I regret is making a rookie mistake by not advertising myself as a mo cap actor who could also do voice over. For example; the new Leon is based on Romanian model but voiced by an american actor. I was able to combine those two but failed to present myself as such.

@@AnxMa Hmm. While I won't say I've had that exact experience, I think I could see why that'd be difficult to let go. I will say that I do know people who are very successful in the entertainment industry and working on very high-profile stuff doesn't bring lasting fulfillment. Not that it's wrong to chase opportunity, obviously (I'm a musician and a part of me desperately craves recognition). Just that being at the top of the mountain may not be better than where you are now.

The original resident evil 4 is a classic and it's a game where you were ask gamers what is your top 20 games of all time and most of them will put resident evil 4 on that list... But when I first heard that they're going to remake resident evil 4, I was excited yet for a bit of nervous because it's a classic and a lot of times you should just leave the classics alone.. there are perfect examples in the movie industry where they remade movies and it turns out to be horrible... But they did a perfect example of how to do a remake.. they didn't take anything away they added better graphics and I do really love the relationship between Ashley and Leon where they're trying to survive together and you can see the friendship building between them not like in the original where Ashley always trying to sleep with Leon.... But there's one thing that I miss from the original resident evil 4 is that throw mines gun... I love how they stick into enemies and beep until it blows up but now they use it as in arrow instead of a gun and I prefer the gun.. it's probably my favorite weapon and resident evil franchise.
