This is truly the first year I've grown a "dwarf" tomato - the Tiny Tim. Never thought I would fall in love with a small tomato - but here we are. Totally in it. Also - the potential for folks with only a balcony or tee-tiny yard. Introducing these to my daughter. Thank you!
FYI we did an indoor winter garden (seeds sown the first week of November 2020) and when Spring came around I sat the container in our greenhouse (from March to May) and the presumed dead tiny Tim I had in the container leafed out again in May. Right now it has flowers and fruit forming on it again on the main stalk and also on a side stalk it put out recently. We are also growing a tiny Tim for the summer garden that is a bit further along than the old one (seed sown in early March 2021), but I suspected they died back but didn't totally die after harvesting, now I know for sure they can come back if you give them a few months of dormancy.

I am loving my patio tomatoes. My patio choice yellow is about 30 inches, taller than I thought but I'm not complaining at all. My tiny Tim is absolutely loaded with fruit and flowers, can't wait to taste one!

Mine are in grow pots and they are producing. Lots of rain this week and weekend, been cool, but growing well. Beefsteak is really taking off in 20 gallon grow pot.
I grew all dwarf tomatoes this year and love them, no pests, no disease and tons of fruit on each plant. Grew in the grow bags. Will definitely do them again next year. Might try to start from seed. I bought your tiny tim seeds but didn't do any from seed. Will try that next year. I am looking into seeds from the Dwarf tomato Project as they are supposed to be like heirlooms in the taste and will fit in my small space. Thanks for doing this

I ordered Tiny Tim seeds from your store and started them on 4/27 outdoors in trays. I got 100% germination! I am so thrilled-my first time growing tomatoes from seed. The plants look great and I am giving many of them to family and friends because I don't have space for all of them. so fun to grow

My favorite dwarf tomato variety is Husky Red (not Husky Cherry Red). It is said to be semi determinate and produces some of the tastiest mid size tomatoes I ever ate.

Great video can you start a tiny tim from seed now? I've got one growing and it is full of tomatoes the birds got my first 2 that turned red im gonna cover it with one of those dollar tree waste baskets with all the holes in it its made from wire so its just the right size.

My determinate tomatoes have small fruits and a lot of flowers. It is going to be unusually boiling hot for the next week here in PNW (PDX region.) I have all of them under shade cloth but if the flowers end up falling off will I still get tomatoes?

Gary, oh Gary, I didn’t heed your advice and test a leave before spraying peppermint and rosemary oil mixture on my cucumber 🥒 leaves, but I could see that something was starting to attack them and thought I would combat it. Not only that I now realize that the plant leaves were not fully developed so now the leaves have all drying out. Will it come back? I’m so mad at myself especially for not heeding your advice.
Give them some nitrogen. They should. However, peppermint oil and rosemary oil are mild. Actually you can buy dwarf indeterminates that keep on growing 4 to 8 oz tomatoes (rosella purple is one) there are many more some grow big tomatoes in 90 degree heat.

i use tiny tim in my window boxes. unsupported, they fall over and kinda look like a spiller.

My favorite dwarf tomato variety is Husky Red (not Husky Cherry Red). It is said to be semi determinate and produces some of the tastiest mid size tomatoes I ever ate.

Great video can you start a tiny tim from seed now? I've got one growing and it is full of tomatoes the birds got my first 2 that turned red im gonna cover it with one of those dollar tree waste baskets with all the holes in it its made from wire so its just the right size.
Yep. You can start most determinates from seed now as the hot weather makes for speedy germination and growth.

My determinate tomatoes have small fruits and a lot of flowers. It is going to be unusually boiling hot for the next week here in PNW (PDX region.) I have all of them under shade cloth but if the flowers end up falling off will I still get tomatoes?
Not as many. Mulch, keep moist and shade cloth. I think you will be fine.

Gary, oh Gary, I didn’t heed your advice and test a leave before spraying peppermint and rosemary oil mixture on my cucumber 🥒 leaves, but I could see that something was starting to attack them and thought I would combat it. Not only that I now realize that the plant leaves were not fully developed so now the leaves have all drying out. Will it come back? I’m so mad at myself especially for not heeding your advice.
Give them some nitrogen. They should. However, peppermint oil and rosemary oil are mild. If you want to send how you made it, I could look at it. therustedgarden@gmail.com

Actually you can buy dwarf indeterminates that keep on growing 4 to 8 oz tomatoes (rosella purple is one) there are many more some grow big tomatoes in 90 degree heat.
