Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. The game is also open source to allow users to mod or simply look through its assets.

Green day (Golden land). "A strange Luigi makes himself known and chases you down into a group of people at a show ground. The Luigi is stronger than he looks and goes on a killing spree, with the only one to get away being the universes avatar."
No spies allowed (No party). "Mario has successfully captured SMG4 and SMG3, and intends to torture SMG3 with cringe to finally get his hands on the notebooks secrets. SMG4 can only watch as Mario gets what he wants."
Puzzling showman (Paranoia). "Mr Puzzles has taken the SMG4 crew as his puppets, but, a little slip up has caused SMG4 to regain control and confront Mr Puzzles."
Tunnel of regret (Overdue). "Meggy has taken it upon herself to teach Luigi and Tari to not be scared anymore. Mario takes advantage of this and creates a tunnel of regret, a place made specifically to make Meggy face her fears, and show her regrets, all in a bid to show he's not just an idiot. An accident makes his whole plan go up in flames, and now he can only wait until he gets another shot to show his worth."
Fear the handsome man. (POWERDOWN). "Trying to find Luigi, SMG4, SMG3 and Mario go into a world that is controlled by a scary (and handsome) version of Mario that has an unsatisfied thirst for blood."
YOU CAN'T RUN (Demise). "Having found Luigi, SMG4, SMG3 and Mario rejoice and have Luigi follow them to the portal out, but the scary version of Mario came back, and now the group must run for their very lives."

I love how this mod is named after Mr puzzles yet he doesn’t show up until the 20th song
To be fair, the Puzzlevision arc basically began when SMG4 started his It’s Gotta Be Perfect phase and Mr. Puzzles himself didn’t make an official appearance until the end of WOTFI 2023 and Mario’s Mysteries, which was a lot more ahead.
