    I'm in similar boat, similar bike as well. 2020 iron in billiard Blue. I'm wanting the pegs my two oldest love riding with my dad and I'm a little jealous. I think you're more experienced, and for 3 hours of an educated guess, I'm so happy I watched this before jumping in. I now know what to prepare for.     Ha! Exactly the same technique I applied in my video, it makes a lot more sense than removing the exhaust!

    Hey man, you're a lifesaver, I just saw a video of removing the whole exhaust system and I was like Nah.. but found yours, and is giving me a lot of confidence to give it e try with my Iron 2017, it all seems the same. Thanks a million for doing this, and like some other one said, now we know what to expect on a 3-hour job

    Your should take the peg's from the back and put them on the front 👍

    Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I installed the pegs on my 2020 883 and the install was pretty much like your bike's. However, my rear brake is now locking up. I may need to bleed the brake fluid. Did anyone experience similar issues after moving around the master cylinder?

    doing mine soon , Harley should just put passenger pegs on the bike . Thanks for the video.

    Really makes you wonder why the jackasses at HD had to put the master there knowing it would be a pain in the rear to mount passenger pegs. Bikes should come with rear pegs from factory anyway. Just more after the sale sales

      That is pretty poor design I agree. I didn’t hear of any other bike manufacturer that made such a silly concept.( In order to instal passengers pegs you have to take off exhaust pipes ) 🤣🤣 Anyway this are the small things that you have to put up with. If you love to ride that evo sportee🔥

    Appreciate the video did your passengers have a problem putting there feet on the pegs because of your saddle bag?

      Hi Larry. It is possible for a short run but not really safe neither comfortable. When I take a passenger I need to take off the side bag. Thanks for watching I am glad that you find it helpful 👍

    I have a 2021 iron 883 mounting brackets are the same, could I use this same method

      I don’t think that anything changed regarding the frame and rear brake reservoir design.
      Unless there is something that I am not aware.
      In my opinion it should work.

    Hi Man! Good job, thanks! Just a quick question. Do I need any additional screws? I received just one additional screw and seller told me that remaining four screws are sitting already in bike. Is that true? :)

      Hi rodzyna on left side you have 2 bolts already and two by the rear brake fluid reservoir to the right side.
      So really you need one bolt extra to use it at the top of the right side Thanks for watching . Any question feel free to ask. Ride safe B3 💪

    Does the brake actuator have to be moved, regardless of whether the pipe comes off?

      I had to remove brake fluid reservoir that’s for sure. I didn’t removed anything else though. Except disconnecting it from foot brake control. Hope that helps 👍

    The left side is really close to that swingarm bag. Any issues? I’ve been wanting one of those bags but want my important people on back to have a good footing.

      Yes it is close. Unfortunately I have to take it off when I take a pillion on back .
      Otherwise ok. Besides on this long rides this passengers pegs gives me another option to change my foot position . Ride safe B3👍

    just put on drag bars ,,i like ours yours better... and strutts. and old seat ,,i bought a new one ,,hate it...

      @Evelyn Van Winkle thanks . Yes it is a bit of a hassle to put this pegs up.
      But the reward of doing it yourself is greater 👍
      Yes I like taller bars as I prefer more relaxed riding style.
      This cafe style seat is so comfortable love it 🙌
      People are selling this worth to try it.
      It is slightly higher but is soft and it has that back support.
      Hopefully you will be able to complete your challenge successfully. Any questions just ask.

    I don't think the left side is correct. The instructions that came with mine said to remove that cover there, and put the bracket over that line in it's place.

Haven't found one that had the right angle to show the whole process 100% by the time.i found your vid I had already taken the exhaust off....lol but could not see how the two bolt peg would fit with brake master cylinder . That's where I got stuck with light running out on me last night lol. All good. Today is another day........ blessings
