That’s what I’m saying. And the greatness of both of those players’ is being doubted to this day. They’re discarded like they’re nothing.
Choosing to play with LeBron James is just an L career move. If I was playing at a high level in the league, I am never playing with LeBron. Even the hype around Anthony Davis has been overshadowed - and so far he will be remembered as LeBron’s sidekick in the bubble.
I feel bad for Kyrie cause it wasn’t even his choice in the end. He was just the new kid in Cleveland after LeBron left and dude decided to back and overshadow his career there.

Even though he was trying to win the best he could. The bigger issue the lakers had is the team this season game planned for lebron to break a record not win a championship. Their defensive issue if you watch film are very lebron not giving effort related.

      100% correct accurate.
Every time LeBron loses the ball, he falls to the floor and doesn’t get back on defense.
Every time he drives to the hoop, he either falls to the floor to try to get a call, or stays back arguing with the refs when he doesn’t get it.
He then cherry picks easy layups and dunks.

It’s LeBron‘s fault for all the chaos that goes on in LA that’s why they’re 26 and 32 that’s embarrassing in 13 place they can’t even beat the majority 50% win ratio teams which are the Lakers that’s because they’re just old I would have rather had a losing record with the younger team a younger roster and be in 13 place with aging mediocre over scoring because he wants to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s record, LeBron James and coincidentally he is injured now, and goes to the Super Bowl instead of playing basketball. Westbrook would have been the missing piece for any other "superstar" in the NBA trying to make a run for the championship. The blame for LA's absolutely unacceptable win/loss record in recent years lies completely upon Lebron. LBJ the one breaking Kareem record he should be able to play off ball at an elite level in year 20, but can't. And he's the biggest problem on defense as well. Starting lineups always changing, Ham putting 3 small guards out there all the time, AD and Bron sitting out in crucial games. It's no wonder it didn't work. They blame the guy who played every game no matter what and it's wrong. If Russ was on a Jrue Holiday contract he would win a lot more and everyone knows it, his production is still higher than Jrue. If Russ was traded for CP3 Phoenix would only get better. You're only a good fit with Bron if u can shoot 3s all game or be a dominant interior big. There's no way Russ could have been a Rondo piece cause he's not on a minimum and has to do more with that contract. Forever stuck trying his best and still losing cause OKC gave him that supermax and took all the blame away from their shitty front office. @@camctrail His narcissism hasn't had any impact? He has a losing record in the finals and it would be worse had he not whined about Draymond calling him a b****h in the post-game presser and gotten him suspended for the next game (revisionist history forgets that the tech which got Draymond suspended was only assigned after the game when LeBron "dared" the NBA to do something).
And the argument that "he's won championships on every team he's been on' is so misleading when stated as some kind of ultimate compliment. He won ONE in Cleveland after stacking the deck for four seasons. He's won ONE in LA after doing the same by bringing over a top 5 player and a slew of veteran all stars. He shouldn't be praised for failing to build dynasties, running away to build a superteam elsewhere, and eking out one title. His most impressive achievement is still going 2 for 4 with the superteam he built in Miami.

Westbrook has been playing for stats his entire career. What happened to westbrook happened to dwight howard: EXPOSED.
When you're in LA, you have high expectations and the spotlight is on you. Westbrook got exposed for what he was his entire career: overrated stat padder whose number don't mean anything. For example: when he gets a triple double, most of the time his field goals are bad, high turnovers, and doesn't guard his man just to wait for the rebound.
By comparison: look at jokic triple doubles: they are a result of efficiency and can do it no matter who he plays with. Even when Porter Jr, Aaron Gordon, and Jamal Murray are taking a breather, he still plays awesome and scores when they need him to. They have the best offense in the league when jokic is on the court. Westbrook cannot do this.

_When you're in The Western Conference, you have high expectations and the spotlight is on you. In all 5 seasons out West, LeBron has failed to advance past Round 1 without a huge rest before the playoffs start._
_And he's on a path this season to fail to even make the lousy play-in....again._

No. What I said went completely over your head. Let me make it more clear: Westbrook always sucked. How he was in LA is no different than how he was on any team...Durant knew this as well. LA brought it to the light for everyone to see who had blinders on. And I said when you're on the Lakers, its show time. Not necessarily the western conference.
Your comparison does not apply because Lebron won rings. Plus he got a championship with LA in the west. Also, he led a mediocre Cleveland team against the favored Warriors. So again, your comparison is baseless. Lebron has the most turnovers in history and has 4 rings to show for it. Westbrook is the 3rd leader in turnovers of all time and has nothing to show for it. There's your comparison.
Westbrook has always been like this, that was my point. Westbrook will be like this in Utah as well.

If Lebron is so great why can't he play in a different system that would better fit the team around him?
Jordan had success in multiple offensive systems. Lebron needs 5 out and an insane amount of ball usage.
Meanwhile he has never been a great defender. Lebron fans love taking 1 defensive clip out of games where he did jack. That takes its toll over a team. Dude doesn't give effort but demands things from you he won't do.
This is the difference between MJ and Lebron. Jordan never asked you to do what he wouldn't

This guy knows nothing about team basketball and how things operate as far as getting guys in to position to succeed. Every post I seen this dude tries to discredit Bron, but probably couldn't coach or dribble a basketball baseline to baseline lol. Heck half the people they comment in here I can tell they've never played any sport pass middle school.
Another thing that's funny is I see everyone saying something about Bron making teammates better. But in the words of Larry Bird people really don't even understand what that means. It doesn't mean stats, or LeBron magically boost their attributes. It means LeBron knows the strengths and weaknesses of the players and is able to make them better on the floor by putting them is a position where the game comes easy to them.
But according to people that don't know any better LeBron makes takes worse (those are the people that look at stats, and don't understand that's it's only so many possessions in a game and one basketball and LeBron and the 2 best player will have most those possessions). That being said now either LeBron is so good that teammates get "worse" with him, but somehow he's able to get to 8 straight finals, 9 of which in a decade. Or LeBron understands putting the players in position where they get better at playing as a TEAM and understanding where to be on the floor in certain moments of the game. But guys hitting or missing shots that's not on Bron. That's the spotlight playing with such a player.
Of the 99.9% of the coaches and players LeBron has played with all have said LeBron has made them better players. And that has nothing to do with stats. Its about the entire game.
As far as Russ I love Russ. I really wished it would've worked out. But 5 teams in 5 years something has to be wrong. I've never seen this before. I've never seen a player of Russ caliber been let go so many times. And it's funny that the moment he gets with Bron, and Lakers organization sees whatever the prior 4 teams saw somehow it's LeBron fault that he couldn't fix it 🤣🤦🏾‍♂️. But then I think to myself how? LeBron also haven't been able to stay on the court much these past 2 years.
