Fantastic video (as usual but compliments can't hurt). I wish BB would partner with UniHertz to enable them to use some BB stuff (e.g. keyboards, DTEK...). With such an alliance I'm pretty sure the Titan 2 could easily become the Passport 2 most of us are waiting for. One can dream...

Apprciate your efforts. Have been using BB for 8yrs. Generally a good experience. ATT support was poor. As I've only used Q10 and Classic I think this will be a good transitional phone. My thanks for Unihertz in making "homage phones," similar vein of watches. The Q10 initially was $1k on Amazon. Thank you for your recent updates.
Very thorough rundown of a good alternative while we wait on BlackBerry... at a decent price to boot. As a HUGE BlackBerry Classic fan, I can see this in my life... by the way my wife tried to activate a new SIM in a replacement Priv on ATT and they could NOT do it...
I am considering a phone like this as primary phone to limit the amount of time I spend on my phone. Having a phone that isn't good at the "fun" things because of the screen size but good at basic communication is actually a positive for me. I just worry about not having a good camera with me. That's the biggest thing holding me back.
Excellent! Was looking forward to this. Great commentary, as always, mate! About that camera, the image quality is even worse, than on the original Titan, which can still take some solid shots under optimum conditions.
Now hoping AT&T will allow VoLTE on this device and allow provisioning and what not... Just noticed you went over that and T-Mobile's openness to outside devices. Thanks for the review!!
Hopefully so but I'm not holding my breath. And thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to make sure I was thorough as possible. I know a lot of people really want my opinion and honest feelings on the device and capabilities
I bought a Titan to use while I wait for my Titan Pocket. Turns out I am loving the Titan and am now not sure if I will be able to switch to the smaller form factor.
Definitely keeping this phone. I like it a lot more than the OG Titan. Plus it’s a review unit that was sent to me. I won’t be selling that. But if I bought one I would 100% be keeping it too.
Hey there, hope you could maybe answer a question. I was considering this phone, and I don't use many phone apps, but curious if you used apps like Spotify or Google Maps/ Waze and have any comments on the experience / display using those apps?
I don’t use waze can’t say with 100% but I haven’t really experienced any app scaling issues so I don’t think it will be problematic. Google maps and Spotify both worked for me.
Smartphone market in design terms is bland. I prefer this type of phone for work purposes. Writing emails is much easier on these types of phones with physical keyboards.
Great video! How is this phone holding up in 2024? I had the OG Titan and enjoyed it, but it was too large for my needs. I just now found out about the Titan Pocket and am ordering it today ^_^ So cute! I’m so excited to use it as my daily driver!
I find it quite ironic that another company can produce and come out with a pretty much 1/1 match of a BlackBerry, but Onward Mobility still has not produced anything at the moment. This is a pretty smart business move for Unihertz to come in and sweep to satisfy the BlackBerry users needs knowing that Onward Mobility has yet to do so, this is their way to take those BB users away from them; you snooze you lose very smart business move Unihertz.

I have to admit I'm not a fan of the touch home button. It's weird when all the other buttons are normal, but not that one. I usually end up trying to touch button the back button or something when my muscle memory short-circuit. (On the Titan.)
I've had so much trouble with this phone. My god. Much more app trouble than the Titan original, I've LOST my ability to use the Shift and Alt keys and can't get them back (I literally can't use punctuation without the on-screen keyboard), the programmable quick keys (like, pressing A taking me to Amazon Seller) activate when I'm TEXTING - that's right, they're unusable! Going back to a Key2 on AT&T before I lose my mind. I wanted to like this phone A LOT.

I will stick with my classic until it stopps working
Good luck
Techodyssy, how about giving me the phone for free😁😂😋
Nah. I'm good.
May you visit US cellphone service provider's website and input the Pocket's IMEI to see if it'll work on carriers like Cricket Wireless or At&t?
It'll probably work for now, but come February next year, it no longer will.
more product shots, less face time dude.
No thanks.
That neck twitch is bugging me
It bugs me way more than I does you. I have a neurological disorder.
@@TechOdyssey Hey Adam, just got to give you some respect. That was an incredibly gracious way to respond to someone who made such an incredibly insensitive comment!
Love your content and am sad as I had been holding out hope for an OM BlackBerry. I was just looking on the Unihertz website and it appears that both the Titan and Titan pocket are sold out for the US market. Being just a Kickstarter campaign phone, do you know if/when they plan on making more of these? If not, would I be able to use one from a different region's market here in the US?
@@melchiahericchristopher2815 Thank you. Some people can be real knuckle heads. I try not to be rude back when I can help it.
As far as the Titan phones, honestly I haven’t looked at them recently. I know the Titan pocket did another batch not too long ago. Have you checked lately or is this a follow up from checking and nothing being available? Also I’d imagine that there are some on resale.
@@TechOdyssey I was just on their website today. It is being sold on other sites, such as Banggood (Titan only) and ebay (both) for modest or significant markups. But most of these are coming from different parts in Asia and I wasn't sure what I should watch out for in terms of market compatibility.
@@melchiahericchristopher2815 I believe there is only one model. The components should be the same as well as the compatibility.
You don't have to switch from product to your face every 5 seconds you know
