If you like pure metal you can't really agree with this. He doesn't have the vocals to be one of the greats. Still really fun/energetic but nothing like Devin Townsend, Bloodbath etc
Metal or not, these guys are really good musicians. Wes Borland is a brilliant guitarplayer and the music without vocals is neatly woves together. Just listen to the Nookie without the vocals. And besides that, Durst is good singer and has a good scream for this type of music.
***** not really..since i decided to go for a crowdsurf during Nookie, right before the hook - all i remember is a bald guy jumping his skull right into my chin :D ouch .. i did it all for the Nookie, so you can take that cookie,..since i wont be able to chew it anymore :D
A friend of mine destroyed 3 terabytes worth of data, movies, series by breaking my external hard drive. This song describes perfectly how I feel right now.
Wes Borland is 1 of the best guitarist of that era. Not only is he a tremendous preformer , hes entertaining AF. This was the best era of musicians & music
90's Bizkit, RATM , Linkin introduced me to metal in general. Looking back they were very influential groups during that era. Then comes Sabbath, Maiden etc..
I hate to bust your bubble little buddy, but Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden were rocking out huge stadiums 30+ years before any of the ARTISTS in Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, or Linkin Park were even a twinkle in their Daddy's eye or a tickle in their Mama's loins. Now, don't get me wrong, because I'm not trying to take anything away from the newer bands. I'm just saying that the true pioneers of metal like Ozzy, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Slaughter, and countless others were cranking out the first of a long era of badass music decades before Durst, Chester, or any of the other awesome ARTISTS that arrived since the 90s. I'm 50 years old now and I like some of almost ALL types of music, mainly because I'm a musician and I know how hard you have to work to get noticed regardless of the instrument you play or the quality of your voice. And I can only imagine how hard the first metal/hard rock bands had to work just to get recognized, especially when most of the parents and older public back in the late 70s and early 80s considered Motley Crue and similar bands to be devil worshipping trash. I was around 15 or 16 years old when Metallica first made it onto the big stages and my parents wouldn't even let me listen to them in their house. Lol. I finally got to see them live in 1992 at Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Al and, as many concerts as I've been to over the past 35 years, they were the best hands down. That tour was called "NO OPENING ACT" and it was literally 7 solid hours of Metallica with no opening act. I can only hope that there are a lot more awesome metal rock bands like them in store for the future. ROCK ON FRIEND !!!
@@mikec6386 Oh please bro. Look at alien farm and crazy town. Those are " Work of art ". Limp Bizkit was huge back then. Beyond your imagination. Even haters admit that.
I went to the free concert they did in jacksonville at plush and leopard lounge, back in 2000. Camped out in line all night, went to the concert, stayed in the pit the whole time, crowd surfed, stage dived, slam danced in a mosh pit, had an absolute blast, well worth the entire experience!!!
This came out when during my freshman year of high school. To this day, I CANNOT play this song whilst driving because my right foot somehow becomes heavy and keeps the gas pedal pressed to the floor 😂 Good song to just fucking rage to. The lyrics are on point considering that we’ve all had one of those days.

They're many memorable performances of Break stuff....but without a doubt this is the most epic one...minus wes not having a guitar solo for it yet but instead they give LEthal a DJ solo so that works.
It’s because that’s not Wes. This was during a time when Wes was out of the band and after Fred did the MTV contest for a new player. That’s the kid they ended up hiring… dressed up as Wes… like wtf 😂😂😂 and he can’t play Wes part so they cut it. They even show the guy up close in the video and it’s Not Wes and not Wes guitar. This is the kid from the sanitarium performance when Wes was out of the band
no no no my friend. I am quite certain this performance is from June 2001 at Rock Am Ring. Wes didn't leave until Fall 2001. This is definitely Wes here. Mike smith didn't come around till 2002/2003 atleast. @@VintageLeftyGuitars

These guys were seriously one of the best live bands back in these times… I saw them open for Metallica in 2002 and they fucking blew them out of the water… The crowed went nuts when they were on and they pretty much were just standing around when Metallica came on stage…. I’ll never forget it
