    For the mindset DeMar has right now in his career, I really think pop is the perfect coach for the certain period of life he’s going through. That it’s bigger than basketball, that there’s more important things in life than their careers they’re in, and it really shows with how he’s opening up, it’s because pop is always carrying that philosophy and it’s now rubbing off even more on DeMar. It’s a beautiful thing to see unfold as the season goes. San Antonio loves you DeMar and we hope you can call this city your home, we are behind you more than you can think of man. #GoSpursGo ✊🏼❤️

    • @daniel7899999
      @daniel7899999 5 лет назад +4

      I agree. I think the culture of San Antonio is better for him than Toronto because San Antonio is more like a family and about loyalty. And Demar appreciates loyalty from the organization he works for. When Toronto traded him he was complaining about how there was no loyalty.

    • @JCGossII
      @JCGossII 5 лет назад

      @@ALady767 danny admitted his mindset wasnt right the first time he came in the league. He worked his ass off becoming a great shooter and defender. Unfortunately spurs needed to give more than Kawhi who hadn't played a whole season but 9 games. Danny is sorely missed especially on the defensive end.

    • @aliaassad4852
      @aliaassad4852 5 лет назад +2

      Toronto didn’t trade him, Masai did, just one man didn’t have loyalty not the whole city or country, I know you didn’t mean it like that but that’s how it sounded

    • @bobfromaccounting3243
      @bobfromaccounting3243 5 лет назад

      @@ALady767 Spurs didn't want to trade Danny Green. Leonard requested to be traded with him, in order to even agree to the deal with Toronto. Spurs leadership and Pop def want to get him back, for sure. They have been loyal to him since he came into the league. They traded for him after he was cut by the Cavs and sent to the G-League, and then invested in training him and building up his game and believing in him. He became a record holder on the Spurs 2013-2014 team, and a huge part of the organization. Only two players I know of that got traded by the spurs, who were long time players, and that is Sean Elliot and Avery Johnson. And they both ended their careers playing for the silver and black. Get your facts straight.

    • @bobfromaccounting3243
      @bobfromaccounting3243 5 лет назад +1

      @@ALady767 but he didn't get treated twice. He only got traded the one time by the Spurs. To the Raptors. The Cavs drafted him and waived him. He went to the D-league and then the Spurs signed him from like Reno, and then put him in the D-League and had him train with spurs coaches, before picking him up add their starting 2 guard. The Spurs org and fan based loved Danny Green, and would not have traded him had Kawhi not demanded a trade. His trade and DeMar's stats are different. Demar has a reason to feel betrayed by his original team. Danny does too, but that was the Cavs not the Spurs. He left the Spurs at the request of Leonard, so I don't think Danny has any bad blood or ill feelings towards the fans or his former team.

    I could understand what hes telling cauz im an aspiring basketball player and can relate to whats he going through but thats the concept of opportunity cost. Biggest example is me migrating to Australia from India and hustling through the process. Basketball is my biggest desire at the moment and I guess when u just get too much of anything it starts to lose its value. Like they play so much that they seek out for other things. Thats just being human nature, when u get one thing u go after another and sometimes u cant have all things at the same time, but its just going after whats more important. I luv this game and like Demar but Iwish that this thing is showed in a brighter, more positive context. #achievegreatnessthroughurdream

    Love Derozan but he has to get over the trade. Was a class act here, great work-ethic, improved every season, but Toronto also gave him the opportunity to succeed. Bosh left after his rookie year and Bargnani was always injured...so at 20 years old Derozan became the go to scorer. Toronto gave him a few years to play heavy minutes, make mistakes, and improve his game to become an all-star. He was part of the golden era of Raptors basketball but couldn't deliver what the city wanted in the playoffs. He will always be the most beloved Raptor of all time for his loyalty and work-ethic, he will get his jersey retired, but it was time to move on.
