Awesome, Randy! Would you mind in create a video teaching how to create a Word document similar to this one but creating new pages in the same document and with mixed template files? TNX!
Hi and thanks so much. Yes i will do that and I appreciate it. I have a training last week that does more (not what you have suggested) but I am sure you will love it. (also the update to this on Monday adds tables into Word) here: ruclips.net/video/tmWUfqYphxc/видео.html Thank you for your Likes, Shares & Comments. It really helps.
Thank you so very much, I really appreciate that Carlos. I am very happy to create these training and glad you love it. Thanks for the many years of support.

Downloaded your workbook and noticed there is nothing about working with shapes and pictures in MS Word. I build an app to create name badges using excel/word macro. I build a template doc that had some shapes and embedded pictures. One issue is that when pasting pcitures and maybe shapes there is the problems associated with Word Wrap style. By default pictures go in as a text line element which is not the way you may want the picture to be placed, for example, you may want a wrap style of tight to get complete positioning access. Also note that Word does not use the same type of shape collections or even identify shapes/picutes the way that Excel does so you may need to do some research to get the code to function. For example the mechansim to loop though a shapes colllection to remove all existing shapes matching some filter as Randy does in many of his applications, does not work with the same syntax. I will try to find some examples of what I found necessary if I can remember where I encountered these issues. Added comment in edit: I did finally see that there is insert images but note that the object type is nothing like in Excel.
HI Malcolm, thanks so much for your support and suggestion. This training is for VBA Beginners, so I must keep these weekend trainings simple. I have added additional features, including a table from excel (not a picture of a table) as you had suggested, in the update coming on Monday on Patreon. I am sure you will love it. Pictures in Word, from Excel, is a great idea and I have added it for a future training as adding pictures into Word would be a great idea and helpful features. Thanks again for your continued support.
Hi Randy great video. I know this is a different topic but I figured out a way to drag and drop controls on a Userform. I would like to be able to drag and drop more than one control at one time, is there a way to group controls at runtime with vba. thanks.
Hi and thanks for your comment Dan. It is possible using the Windows API and some 3rd party libraries however, if you create the functionality outside of a userform, and on a sheet its much easier without any 3rd party tools and can work with any desktop version of Excel. I have many trainings on Drag and Drop on the sheet itself. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
@@ExcelForFreelancers Hi Randy. Thanks for the reply. I grouped the controls before I ran the Userform but that didn't work only the one I clicked on moved. although that gave me an Idea and tried that and that worked the solution was easier than I thought. I can post the code if you're interested in how it works on a Userform. I tried the same code on Worksheet with an ActiveX Control although it worked the movement was really erratic.
Hi and thanks. Yes for sure you can post the code, that would be nice. I agree with you that ActiveX on sheets has lots of issues. I only use Shapes I have many advanced trainings on Drag and Drop on a sheet however this one is quite basic here: ruclips.net/video/aB2z1qKUI4A/видео.html I hope this helps and thanks so much.
Hi and thanks, yes for sure you can, you can turn off screen updating, calculation and events to speed it up. Just make sure to turn them all back on before the macro ends Application.ScreenUpdating = False Application.Calculation = xlManual Application.EnableEvents = False I hope this helps and thanks so much.
Hai Randy, An acquaintance has a company where several employees are working off-site. A time registration is very cumbersome because this is still done with paperwork. It would be nice with the experience you have to compile a sheet for this. I think something that can be filled out online by every employee. Taking into account working time, Pause, Travel time, illness and vacation that the employees have. Any expense allowance for Refueling, Overnight, Lunch , dinner. The times should be contiguous and so sent to Admin at the end of the day. It would be nice if this is calculated at the end of the month itself. A mail sent where each employee gets his overview and can also see immediately what he or she gets paid. Is something like this feasible and could you think about it objectively. Thank you very much for your time and effort. Henk
Hi and thanks so much Henk, the closest I have to that is the Employee Timesheet WIth Mobile Integration. Have you see this before? ruclips.net/video/CNornJ75mZM/видео.html I hope this helps and thanks so much.

This was yet another great video. Could you do a video for creating a PowerPoint document with a different excel range of data on different slides?
Thanks for the nice idea. I will do my best to get that added in the near future. I appreciate that

Any way to reduce runtime on these? If we create 600 letters, takes about 1 hour.
