I live in Finland currently. Russians here actually cheer such decisions. From my understanding they are not exactly ecstatic about the current economic war, nor the stance the west is taking to Russia. But they do prefer a clear stance than a blurry in between stance that is guaranteed to lead to similar situations. So they do cheer because this is the right way for a clear future, better or worse. I mean they need to be at a specific state of mind to choose Finland and it shows. They care about transparency even if they don't agree with how it is made.

Countrywide resilience is something every country in or around NATO needs to be doing serious work on. The UK is a perfect example of a citizenry who aren’t even being made aware of the threats. Things have to change whether we like it or not.
