- My favorite song from Mega Man X8, I knew I would end up remixing this as soon as I played the game on stream several months ago.
Just in time for valentine's day ... what a coincidence ... woah ...
I'm really happy with the tiny little additions and the outro, I live for crazy vibratos on square waves with delay.
Also decided to add a new section to the second theme since I'm not too keen of the slow section in the original.

Well, Lumine and the next gen robots are kind of made partly from sigma as well as other old gens, aren't they?
If you were paying attention, you'd notice that's not entirely the case

To be completely fair, it wouldn't be the first time a piece of Japanese media referenced the Bible (far from it, really). As a Christian myself, I find this one of the more tasteful and respectful instances. XD
I'd just beaten MMX8, glad someone else immediately felt how good of an ending boss theme this game had.

Man, I could never get into the X games after 3, but this remix makes me feel like I'm missing out. MNS makes everything better tho, so *shrug*
I strongly recommend X4 and X8, 5 and 6 are a bit divisive and we all know how 7 turned out ...

X4 was verry good X5 juste good game but x6 🤢 x7 🤮🤮🤮
X4 is a must play, but X5 & X6 are a little bit lacking in comparison. Everyone knows how bad X7 is but X8 is pretty good from the little bit I've tried of it
It feels right, that the last fight in Megaman X has the same guitars we heard on that highway all those years ago

The first half of this sounds like something that would play when you're facing off against someone who you've spent the entire game trusting and liking only to find out they've been a traitor the whole time and the only way your story together will end is with one of you dead.
Well, that's pretty much what was going on with Lumine, only he was the kidnapped prince.

Lumine is a guy. The subtitle of this game is "Paradise Lost", which is a reference to an epic writed by John Milton, where Satan (formerly Lucifer) rebels with one third of the angelic hosts of heaven. So, Lumine and the New Generation Reploids are inspired by Lucifer and his army of rebellious angels. Lucifer was known as a angel with a tremendous power and beauty, being represented with androgynous appearance in several media, just like his counterpart in Mega Man universe, Lumine, that also have a Seraph form.

Logically, Lumine is a robot. Technically he doesn't have a gender. Though physically I would say he appears more feminine, he does identify as male in game, as do X and Zero.

Well let's clear this up
In the canon Lumine is a dude, it fits the whole "angelic looking devil boy" thing he has, Japan tends to tie androgynous dudes with the AntiChrist (Griffith is a good example)
In the source material I can see him as a man, his body is pretty manly (the guy is flat)
HOWEVER
I hate to say this, but the fanart makes him look so girly that I basically consider Fanart Lumine and Game Lumine to be different characters

Wow, this remix made me appreciate first phase Lumine's music a lot more!
Someone split the two phases apart, so I can enter "I'm the true evil" mode for the 1st phase and "I'm gonna screw you up" mode in the 2nd
This feels like an old classical piece. If this was composed in the time of mozart it would've been recognized as a masterpiece now.

Can we just get Maverick Hunter Xrd(X ReDone) for Capcom's sake? I would love a 16-bit, reimagining of the entire X series, considering they dropped Maverick Hunter X and also the original X series with some wack continuity(just hoping X9 has some sense since it's definitely coming out thanks for MM11 being a success).
I dream of the new Demake of Megaman X8 use those musics, if you permit, of course.

Again, not super familiar with the later X games, but I really dig this song!! It has kind of a specific "epic" (for lack of a better word) and kinda emotional tone to it. Honestly, now that I'm comparing the original to this one, I really appreciate the extra touches you always add to the songs. The second form song sounds like it belongs straight into the first X games which, at least in my limited perspective, isn't true for a lot of the later X games' songs that I've heard. Nice job once again!!

@MyNewSoundtrack : I just re-listened at MegaMan Xtreme 1 & 2 OST, and I really want to say that there are some very good background samples that are not present on the SNES (alternative samples let's say).
Maybe you should compare Flame Mammoth (MMN Xtreme 2) with the SNES version. The background is so amazing that you should remaster it for your album !
