Mark putting it to his lips and then stopping to threaten the audience with his playing is some Jack Benny level comedy. By the way, you can milk that joke for so long it turns out. First it’s funny. Then it stops being funny, then it gets even funnier
It's funny, Seth McFarlane talked about that. There's a rule where you do it once, it's funny, a second time it's not funny, and once you get to the third time where it's funny again you *have* to stop doing the joke. It becomes endlessly unfunny after that.

Kudos to Matt and Stephanie for going with the flow and actually sitting down to chat with Markiplier!
This segment was a perfect example of Markiplier vs Mark. Markiplier is actually his stage persona and is his boisterous loud funny side. When he isn't performing he is actually more like he was when he was just sitting with them on the floor. That's how he actually is in real life.
At my schools concert, I had to play our national anthem on trumpet completely alone. Keep in mind this was 4 months after I first picked up a trumpet and I had to play a high D
Now listen up! When I was a boy, we didn't have fancy trumpets! We had sticks. Two sticks and a rock for the entire family! And we had to share the rock!
12:06 when they questioned him and mat said : you wanna lay down on the couch and talk about that I really just thought mark is gonna pop up and say " FOR THAT ,LISTEN TO OUR PODCAST DISTRACTABLE"
To be fair he is playing on a horrible quality colored trumpet. In my high school band those instruments were only allowed into performances at Pep Band.
Seeing how much Mat has grown is really surreal, it feels like it was just yesterday I was writing a project inspired by him when I was just a lad! This really is huge and I can’t thank him enough for what he’s done for the world!
I adore Mark. I'm so happy this happened. It shows how much the charity stream means to people. First, we tortured Mark with playing Scott's exclusive FANF game, then he came when he felt like crap and was later hospitalized, and now when he has been up for 36+ hours. Mark is one of the hardest working individuals I 'know' and it motivates me to be better. Their conversation was sappy but super sweet. Edit: I have a vignette of MatPat and Steph showing up late one night to Mark's house and Mark is like HI! Cracked out on coffee editing a video. While Amy is sleepily walking to the door like "what time is it?" Another don't tell Amy moment? Maybe. I could also see Ollie chasing Chica.
This was one of the few parts of the stream I caught live and I'm only now realizing that I ended up seeing all three St Jude streams. I have so many great memories of watching the first one on the bus home from school and nearly all of the second one in the middle of online classes. While I couldn't see the whole stream again this year, it was amazing to be there and see all of the good being done even though I wasn't able to donate.
