WWDC 2024 Recap | Is Apple Intelligence Worth The Hype?

The Apple WWDC 2024 was full of surprises.
Apple's software-focused event, WWDC 2024 took place last week and introduced some new updates that will be available in the next few months.
While Apple Intelligence (AI) took centre stage at the coveted event, there were multiple other mentions that deserve attention.
- Emphasis on customisation (home screen and control centre)
- Seamless integration between Mac and iPhone (iPhone mirroring on Macbook)
- New and improved Siri (finally! Siri can also use ChatGPT after the user allows it)
- Calculator app and text assist (real-time solutions, grammar check, summarisation)
- RCS messaging/Satellite messaging (RCS has arrived!, also no network no problem as users can now send messages via satellite)
- And of course, Apple Intelligence (Apple's own AI models spread across various functions making life easier)
