What did God say? Many think there is a Trinity and that God is three persons in one, but God said “that they may know that there is none like me in all the earth” (Exodus 9:14, Isaiah 46:9); that “there is no God with me or beside me” (Deut 32:39, Isaiah 45:5). God made it very clear-He is not like any other…yet man continues to undermine this. Placing God equal to anyone or anything else is blasphemy; and those who do so are damned without true repentance. God loves those who follow the words of Jesus, for Jesus said knowing them both personally and individually is life eternal (John 17:3).
The scripture says, "now we know in part". The Trinity is a mystery for sure, so is the virgin birth. But we must not allow what we don't understand now to defy what is written. Jesus said from His own mouth, "I and my Father are one". There you have two distinct entities, 1) The Father, 2) The Son, who the Son says are "one". That right there proves the possibilities of the Divine to do and be as They see fit. Jesus also explained that His Father would send The Holy Spirit Who would be with us, and in us. I am grateful He did because on my own I could not please God. The Holy Spirit, sent by the Father, is helping me to be pleasing to God in spite of my propensity to sin. My rule of thumb is not to argue with the Truth. I just admit I don't understand it and seek wisdom until the revelation is provided. If you don't understand all things divine it's ok. For the time is coming when we will know, even as we are known. But until then God had holy men write that in times past He spoke to us through His prophets, but today He speaks to us through His Son. Here ye Him! Ask, Seek, Knock and it will be given (in God's timing). Thanks for your comments.
