I'd have to go with the Renovation Collection 1 with three great shmups Gaiares, Granada and Sol Deace not forgetting the best wrestling game on Evercade, the masterpiece that is Beast Wrestler :-) Keep up the awesome work!
Hmm... Interesting topic. Just getting started and am curious what you will pick but Piko1 and Renovation and definitely two favorites for me. Good number of games, nice variety in genres, definitely some stinkers but plenty of quality in the lineups as well. Tanzer and XenoCrisis remain my top two favorite games available on Evercade but I don't think either of those carts offer more in total than the ones I mentioned.
Do you ever think we will see any further carts, of these early console collections Crazy Burger?! 🤔. Blaze seem to have neglected them somewhat? With now more focused “liked” carts. Such as DUEL, INDIE, and now HOME COMPUTERS. To name but a few. 🤔. Seems Quality over Quantity is still the reliable choice though, with your choice Crazy Burger! 👍. Though I’m still holding out for that ZX collection, with 20+ games on it. To equal or succeed the days of Piko! 😁
No I don't think we will. I'm surprised we didn't get more Data East. Namco probably gone, Atari unlikely, though maybe Atari 800 is possible through Retro Games collaboration. We won't see anymore Interplay. Codemasters probably no. Mega Cats 3 definitely next year. Piko lol yes. More for sure. Jaleco, possibly. Technos, doubtful.
Dec23 firmware update. It killed some people's carts as it introduced auto saving of high scores for Arcade carts and auto fire, I believe a quick fix was put out within 24hrs tho.... Glad I caught the news that the firmware was iffy thanks to Crazy Burger's videos, I waited till this month to update, so far so good!
@@MIKandJEAN huh. I didn't have any issues, though I don't use mu VS as much as my EXP, and 75% of my use is Console or Computer carts, so I wouldn't have seen most of the issues, I guess?
@@MSR-1701 Yeah, I think it was just the arcade carts that had issues at that time but also all 6 carts released just before Xmas including Duke Nukem had bugs though. Was a really bad time. Looking better now, and is just starting to fade from memory. Fingers crossed it never gets that bad again!
I believe I ordered Indie Game Heroes Collection 3 and Sunsoft Collection 2 a while back, and I'm still waiting for them to arrive in the mail. Though it's probably because stock may be limited and delays are to be expected. I'm hoping to get Duke Nukem Collection 1 at a decent price, because I'm only interested in the remasters of 1 & 2, and also the fact they still aren't available on PC.
@@Cyberbrickmaster1986 just thinking it might be something they'll do once it's been out a year. Obviously ideally they want to encourage Evercade purchases. But I reckon they could make more money from selling the Duke remasters on PC, Xbox, Switch, PS than they would overall selling Evercade.
Not a bad way to go through 500 games in 3 days Crazy! 🙂 I can't really choose a single cart as I have a soft spot for Oliver Twins, Codemasters and Piko Collection 1. Piko 1 made me get an Evercade so there is that. I like many more but those 3 are the special ones for me. That Alpha machine better be worth the wait lol. 1 more day to go!!
@@CrazyBurgerI just checked Evercade homepage as a just in case, there's a new homepage coming soon message. Rest of the site has been taken down. Ummm. 😀
I really hope they do a reprint of some of those early collections on some point in time. The Oliver Twins, Namco and Atari collections go for crazy prices now because they are out of print due license-issues.
@@CrazyBurger Yeah, kinda sad. Oliver Twins seems really cool, as a kid I used to love Dizzy on the C64 . But i got in on Evercade a bit later when it was out of print already. I think I’ve got to go Duke Nukem 1 but struggling to decide between that, Codemasters, Lynx 2, Bitmap Brothers and Oliver Twins. Piko 1 and Gremlin too… We’re spoilt for choice!
I just bought Intelivision collection 1, very nice games, simple games that you can play easily , also both the Namco carts are fantastic.

agreeee !!
Lol yeah Beast Wrestler really is something.
That is another great collection!😅
Duke Nukem brought me to Evercade...❤
Best choice i made last year for christmas

Sunsoft 1 for Blaster Master, Sirius, and Gimmick.
My favorite console cart is Sunsoft Vol 1. Journey to Silius, Blaster Master and Gimmick are so good

Piko Collection 1. Period, for the variety and hidden gems.
Mind you, picking the next cart(s) after is NOT easy...😂😂😂😂
Good boy galaxy was a 20 plus hour great game.
Hmm i don't have so many, but letting out the Handheld exclusive Titles, i would say Duke Nukems and Renovation are a good Mix.
I think it's still Piko 1...Duke 1 is a REALLY good one though! Also Renovation and Codemasters.
Yarp!
Sheesh, I'm glad that I passed on that update for a while...I usually adopt a wait-and-see attitude with such things.
I'll definitely be thinking twice next time. What an absolute shocker that update was.

Duke 1 is my #1 too. After that it's Namco 2. If the Full Void cart was packed with a another good game, it would be a contender for #2.

For me it's Alwa's Awakening/Cathedral
A very solid pick. If only I was better at Cathedral.
Not counting the indie heroes. Asteborg dual cart and sunsoft 2 are my favorite
My favorite game is Tanzer.
Definitely one of the best on Evercade

Hello which cartridge has a poster with a list of all cartridges
Mmm.. let me check. That doesn't ring a bell. The carts list is usually on the back of most of the manuals
Jaleco collection one has a poster with carts on the back..
piko 1
Intellivision 2, obviously...
Hmm...
Okay, i might be joking on that front. The ones you mentioned are all solid picks.
