All these well-chosen additional ingredients to the pork really make this dish so ideal. The dried tomatoes is brilliant. Likewise, the ham in the mushroom and onion mix is just the right touch! Beautiful dish/presentation!!

What do you do with the broth left from the knuckle? I actually use the broth and make a hearty soup using lots of fresh vegetables and add some if the meat in it and rice. Delicious🎉
@Patt12 No. It will be good. I guess you don't know that when you put the broth in the fridge, the fat congeals and you spoon it out and throw it away. Then you are left with only the good broth.

I’m hoping you or someone can explain what this means (I use the metric system): I have used the old "enough water to almost cover the Hock" method with great success. Just curious. TY again for a knockout plate at my dinner parties, very well received every time👌👍
