Just starting to get togrips with the 49. Fabulous car! The outstanding feature is the lack of grip compared to modern cars, which makes it an exciting drive - throttle finesse is crucial! I used it a lot in GPL back in the day, and it was challenging then too! Great driving on show here - impressive!
First road race in these and it grew on me. I felt very off and slow at first , but then it was great fun to caress the car around the track and try to get a feel for the limit. Definitely a real fun challenge.
This is such an underrated track,One of my favorites. You say you’re slow being the leader in your class. Yes you’re slower then other classes but leading in yours your not slow. That spin in turn 1 wasn’t really your fault in my opinion. In a different class racing, just dive bombing isn’t smart. In America we have IMSA. Drivers in the fastest cars say they know where they can overtake and where they shouldn’t. I know it’s just a game but hearing you blame yourself in a no win situation 🤷♂️. Anyway keep up the great job
Yeah I just thought I knew he was coming up fast and would be there in that turn most likely..and I still had a bit too much understeer, not a big mistake though. This car really needs some training to get used to the possible speeds, felt dead slow at first, ha. No idea what the Lotus 49 pros are able to do on this track. Oschersleben really is a cool place, I could do without that chicane before the back straight, but all in all it's great. Nice combo
