- Last night over drinking rum with my dad, i finally felt open enough to talk about what happened when I was 8 years old instead of just hinted at it and hoping he understood me. My dad is the only parent that actually feels remorse for how I was treated as a kid, even if he struggles showing it, i never have questioned once if he cares about me (even if i hate some of the things hes done / said). Anywho, got therapy in 5 mins (of posting this) so ill see yall!

I’m so glad your dad is the only one who’s able to feel sympathetic towards you, unlike your mother.
In 2022 or 2023, I managed to tell my mom about me being SA’ed at 15 after staying quiet for 4 years. Mom got so disgusted and told me that I should’ve told her sooner so she can get my younger brother involved (he’s stronger, taller and more intimidating than me). I love my mom and I’m so happy she doesn’t shame me about that. She’ll literally die for me and my brothers ❤️
i’m sorry you went through so much. i’m really glad your dad can be there for you now. parents are just people and all people are capable of great harm and great good, and they’re also capable of change when they want to. i hope your dad’s been doing the work to become the dad younger you needed at their most vulnerable.

My stepfather has been acting strange for a few months now (counting last year), I don't understand why he comes into my room sometimes and tries to touch me in places I don't like... Once when I was "sleeping" ( I was awake, but my eyes were closed) I felt him passing his hand over me and on a part of me that he shouldn't touch, or much less pass his hand there, I was scared, at the moment I was kind of paralyzed, I couldn't move or speak, so I stayed quiet waiting for it to end, when it was over, he just left my room and didn't do anything else... There was also one time (it's a little recent), I was drawing sitting on the bed, He came into my room and sat next to me, I thought he was just going to stay there to talk to me, but he started to put his hand on me, on my thigh, stomach and tried to touch me on that part again, I told him to stop but he didn't stop and kept trying, I didn't know what to do, until he said he was just joking... I don't know if this is a kind of joke but I didn't like it at all.
This truly doesnt sound like a joke , no matter how much your stepfather tries to play it off as , is there anyone irl that you trust that you could talk abt this to ? This is very concerning and your safety could be compromised
Call the police, he is dangerous and could get too confident with how he exploits you. I don’t know who you are, but I have a friend who went through something similar that could’ve been avoided if someone told them to call the police. Because he didn’t and was too scared to, things got much worse. Please, I want to make sure nothing like this happens to anyone else.
Oh my god. That's so disgusting! You need to get help from your step-father because what he's doing is viale and disgusting, and most importantly inappropriate! Idk who you are, but it's best if you find help like a relative to help you or call the police! I'm concerned!
Dad for the win! Glad he could help comfort you even if it was just a little. No one should have to go through what you've gone through and I'm really happy that your piece by piece healing from your childhood. Through each little win we'll all be there for you! ❤

I had a best friend (I'll call her Fox) that I was friends with since 3rd grade (I'm currently in 7th) and we were happy together, when we got to 7th, we made friends with a new girl who just came to our school (I'll call her Wolf) Wolf and Fox started talking alot and I didn't think much of it, Wolf liked, and still does, showing her love through rudeness. I liked playing cookie clicker on my Chromebook , and Wolf and Fox had BOTH asked me MULTIPLY times if I wanted infinite cookies, I said no multiple times, and I know they heard me. So one day at lunch, I had my ChromeBook, and was playing a game on it. Wolf asked to see it, and I said yes, a minute or two later, she gave it back, and cookie clicker had infinite cookies, I got upset and told them I had said I didn't want it like that, and Wold told me to just reset the game, from scratch. I was rly upset bc my mental state isn't good, and I also was far into the game, billions of cookies and stuff. I hung out with my other friends the rest of the day, when it was time to get on the bus, I overheard Wolf saying something to her friend, she said, in these exact words, "Oh yea, she probably hates me now, but it was wirth it" I started crying and hid in my room when I got home. The next few days, I avoided them. Eventually the bus driver made me sit in the same seat as Fox, and I said, "I don't like how you guys did that... You never even said sorry" and Fox said, "I said sorry, idk about Wolf" she was gaslighting me to think she said sorry, which she never actually did. After that, she started gaslighting me more, saying I broke her heart, and, believe or not you meant the world to me, and, I don't think u care. This broke me sm, to see my BESTFRIENDS do this, that I wanted to k!ll myself for months (this was in September) I changed my mind about them and became best friends with, let's say Cat, I was currently still su!cidal at the time. I started getting a small crush on Cat, but she liked someone else, let's say Bird. Bird was dating someone tho, and told Cat if they broke up she would get with Cat. After a few days pass, they broke up and Bird and Cat are now dating, Bird's cousin, I'll say Owl, niw sits with us at our table. Bird, Cat, and me all went to Cat's house for a sleepover, but Bird insisted on playing their "game" now, I had never thought that it was sexual, but now, I'm very worried it is. I have no idea tho. I said it was fine and I would play Minecraft on Cat's dad's computer. So after about an hour, I go in there and say I'm bored, Bird hears the door open and quickly moves, I have no idea what she was doing tho. They say ok and we decide to go to the park. We get there and play a bit, then go back inside, again Bird wants to play their "game" I feel left out but am too scared to say so, and so I say it's fine. Cat asks if I'm sure and I say I want to play something too. Bird is upset about this, and Cat is ok with this. Bird always wants to play a game where she's the dad, Cat's the mom, and I'm the kid, we agree with it the first few times tho. About a month later, we decide to have a sleepover at my house. Bird says she wants to play her and Cat's "game" I say fine and play on my Nintendo Switch. After about 30 minutes, Cat comes out and asks if I'm ok if they keep playing, I say yes, and ask how long they want to play it for. She says she doesn't know, and if I feel left out to just tell her. I say ok and go to play a different game with them, that's what has me thinking it's about s3x, because the time Bird moved quickly, and I can't ever play. I have another reason I don't want to share bc it is Cat's private info. We all go to bed later. In the morning after we wake up, Cat starts crying bc Bird broke a serious promise with her, I won't be sharing it, I try to comfort Cat. About 2 weeks later, I go to Cat's house,and she breaks up with Bird, very politely, bc I saw, she said" hey, I think we should break up, it's not you, it's me, I've been really stressed and need to focus on myself" Burd cusses her out and threatens to k!ll herself if Cat breaks up with her. Cat breaks up with her anyway. At school, Bird acts like they haven't broken up. They've been broken up for 2 and a half months now. Bird and her cousin Owl are very narcissistic and make everything about them, if someone has a problem theirs is bigger. They never do their work. And they once called me bad at art even tho I have decent art. They said I'm working on being an artist. It made me rly upset. Sorry this is getting long! I'll stop rambling lol
This is awful. Nobody deserves to go through all the stuff you've gone through. I hope things get better for you.
It's horrible that this happened to you, but it's good you were able to talk to someone about.
