- In this video, we explore the differences between small-cap, mid-cap, and large-cap investments and help you determine which type is best suited for long term investment goals. We take a deep dive into each category, using real-world examples and indices to illustrate the risks and rewards of each type of investment.
We discuss the potential benefits of investing in small-cap stocks, including the possibility of discovering hidden gems, but also the high risk and volatility associated with these investments. We then move on to mid-cap stocks and why they may offer a sweet spot for growth and diversification in your portfolio.
Finally, we discuss large-cap stocks and their potential benefits, such as stability and consistent returns, and how they can act as an anchor in your investment portfolio. We also touch on the importance of understanding your risk tolerance and investment goals when choosing which type of stocks to invest in.
Whether you're new to investing or a seasoned investor, this video will provide valuable insights and help you make informed decisions about your investments.

Hi Boosan, please clarify Nifty 50 & Large cap fund are same or not. Already invested in Nifty 50, now I plan to go Large cap..
Hi bro I am investing 2k in axis mid cap and 2k in axis small cap. Now after seeing your video I got confused. Should I move from mid and small cap fund to index and large?
Hi bro. Your content is really good and informative. Thanks for sharing👍💯. Can you please suggest investing on Quant small cap fund?
Hi Pavithra, IMO. It's a fad, 2-3 years from now, there'll be another fund like this outperforming other funds, This is what had happened with Axis Bluechip and Axis Long term funds, they were so popular a couple of years back and now they are the worst performers in their category, I could be wrong about quant funds as well. Chasing the top performers time to time is futile job which yields nothing much.
Bro, I'm expecting more suggestion from you. I'm planning to invest 25K per month in SIP. Please suggest a right funds without overlapping and I'll increase 10% every year as well. Planning to invest almost 15Yrs. Please suggest. Thanks! Have a great day! 🙏
Hi Hari, I will try to make a video on this topic if there's enough interest.

Look for Nifty smallcap index, nifty midcap index, nifty 500. There'll be multiple funds available
Sorry, wrong definition for large, mid and small capitalisation. Large cap is not top 100 capitalisation companies, it’s companies capitalisation above 20K Crs, likewise mid cap is above 5k to 20K Crs and small cap is 5K Crs and less
Thank you for clarifying the definition. You're right, as per SEBI's guidelines this is the M-cap range for Large, Mid & Small cap definition.
However, there is no universally accepted definition of what constitutes a large-cap, mid-cap, or small-cap company, and the classification can vary depending on the source. Different financial institutions, research firms, & market participants may use slightly different ranges to define these categories. Ultimately, the classification of companies into these categories is intended to provide investors with a framework for understanding the size and growth potential of different companies in the stock market. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!

Hi bro, How to switch to one fund to another fund? I have invested 10K in UTI, But I need to transfer that to Navi Index fund in Coin app. Please help bro! Thanks!
You must sell this & buy another.
@@finance.boosan Okay bro thanks
I have a same expectation as Mr.Hari. It would be great if a video is posted for people having idea to invest 25K a month.
Bro some small cab fund give good returns in 10 years of period compare to nifty50
Appo 5 to 10 years ku andha maari small cab fund la invest pannalama ?
Past returns is not an indicator of future returns, so it is no guarantee that smallcaps would do well in 5-10 years period for the future, but on a very long term they have historically shown no significant difference compared to large-caps, if we could get the same return from risk free category - my preference would be to go with large-caps or flexicaps.
Also it will be a good tactical bet to invest in smallcaps when they are undervalued, and we may be presented of such opportunities time and again.
Bro, Navi index fund la Lumpsum podalama? And if we invest in more index funds na it will be overlapping?
Why do you want to invest in multiple Index funds?
@@finance.boosan Aadhan bro I got confused. I need to invest in index for better returns. So single fund is good choice or multi fund?
I have already invested 2K in small cap, and 5K in blue chip. So want to invest in Index now.. that is my plan pls need your suggestions. Thanks
If you don't already have an index fund in your portfolio, it makes sense to add one.
@@finance.boosan Okay bro. I’ll buy but one fund is fine la multi index are not good?
Nice explanation Boosan. will you talk about best option strategy?
Thank you, will do in future 👍
Us stock investment as of now .konjam solluga
S&P500 and NASDAQ100 are still down 15-22% from its peak. Could be good opportunity for long term
Bro , What is the difference between Multicap funds and flexi cap funds?
Multicap funds are mandated to allocate a specific percentage of their investments to small-cap, mid-cap, and large-cap stocks, typically around 25% each. On the contrary, flexicap funds grant the fund manager the flexibility to invest in stocks across all market capitalizations according to their own judgment and discretion.
@@finance.boosan I'm a beginner in Mutual fund,My age is 21 which Mutual fund give better returns with less risk.Multicap or Flexi cap?
Also my Personal Suggestion is Upload a dedicated Video about difference between Multicap and Flexi capfund😇

How to nifty 50 invest
You could invest in Nifty 50 via Index mutual funds or ETFs.

Sexy Explanation 💥
Bro but smallcap funds are extremely good than index
You can better compare largecap fund vs smallcap fund and not the indexes will completely opposite to this video
Kindly analyse
Yes, that's no denial, some active smallcaps funds or individual smallcap stocks would've definitely outperformed large caps. Will do a video on it if there's enough interest.
@@finance.boosan ok bro,why I'm saying is smallcap stocks may or may not beat smallcap index bro,but all the smallcap active funds have beaten the smallcap index significantly👍
