Man Runs in Front of King Charles III’s Motorcade

- King Charles III faced a security breach after a man ran in front of his car. It happened as the new king's motorcade was leaving parliament. His maroon Rolls-Royce was slowed down by bumper-to-bumper traffic. That's when the man ran about 100 yards to reach the king's car. Fortunately, all he wanted was a photograph but security experts are shocked he was allowed to get so close. A former royal bodyguard says the man was "milliseconds from death" at the hands of armed police.

As a Briton, I find it so weird how obsessive this video is over the weirdest little things and making it into something huge (although the first part was obviously quite concerning)

His moment of so called “temper” was completely reasonable in my opinion, he must be stressed & wanting everything to go smoothly as intended.
He doesn’t show any respect and the expects respect from the people, who is he ? No one , he is just another human that happened to be part of a “special” family that the country feed and dress and allow them to have a millionaire life while they can’t pay energy bills
The shocking thing is that in todays time everyone is afraid of things like that. If you look at the 90s for example, the queen stood outside shaking hands with civilians and no one was afraid that someone might pull a gun or have a bomb on them. It's really sad how times have changed

There was no telling if the man was unarmed because of it happening so suddenly. It got even scarier when he had an obvious object in his hands (his phone) that was then raised to eye level in front of Charles’ car. Before even seeing it was just a phone the cops adrenaline was probably already up because they’re seeing some random man running towards the car of the person they’re trying to protect. I understand that he grew a little frustrated at a staff member, I'm surprised that he only grumbled. When my grandma died, I actually snapped at some people. In the end, he's just another human being grieving for a loved one's death. Not to mention all that stress that is now on his shoulders. I know I wouldn't be able to handle that if that was me.
Did you snap at coworkers? Work is different. Can’t do that there- no excuses
True! I was also like that when a loved one passed 🥺 Distressed and hurting heart.
I agree with all you said. I lost my cool with my father after months of harrassment after my brother died as I'm his executor. It's beyond stressful, and until someone goes through it you have no idea what that person is going through... I'm still going through it years later and going to a trial from my evil surviving brother clean brother I'll be cause covid locked up the estate for over a year and has caused things to be extremely difficult it's really difficult and greed and my family is Paramount! My brother knew this as I was the only one he can trust I'm out more of my own money doing this and more time and frustrations that I will never do it again for anyone. Especially for FREE.
@@allytrudie864 VASTLY different dynamics you're trying to compare. I'm sure the CEO of a company might snap at a servant, especially during the context. That mistake should not have happened, and for the king himself to notice it and have to sort it out shows a huge amount of incompetence to whomever was the "organizer".
As the future king he would have been groomed for this very moment. He’s a douche plain and simple. And I’m sorry you lost your granny 💐
Idky everyone is making such a fuss over a freshly grieving person with an extraordinary amount of stress being frustrated that the staff isn't paying attention to detail, but that is the staff members position, detail. Everyone is so quick to call him out but have zero clue about the stress that job comes with.
Yep. Losing your mother, which is one of the most painful deaths that we deal with coupled on becoming King and having more responsibility than anyone else in the world would put quite a strain on him. He has a lot on his plate. I know many don't like Charles, but most of us would not be able to handle the life that he has. I sure wouldn't want it. Being a prisoner of fame and being watched 24/7 would not be worth the amount of wealth that he has.
Indeed. No idea at all.
This could have been avoided if they put the pen tray on the side of the desk instead of the front.
If myself or my boss spoke or treated someone in the workplace like this it would not be appropriate no matter what the circumstances. It isn’t appropriate. He showed his true spoiled brat colours.
It is the man who ran and got within shooting distance to the King and threatened him, who was WAY OFF BASE; that is the issue here, no one else, and shows an unforgiveable flaw in security! He shouldn't have gotten as far as he did without instant capture! It could have very easily been a pistol instead of a cell-phone camera! The "staff" has had a long time to practice protecting the Royals, and this was a breach! That man was way out of line, and it is unforgiveable! It can even be a danger in the future to the Royals, with people seeing that one man got by with intruding so easily!
The crazy antics of an old man. Very DANGEROUS
In fact, the incident was a tremendous tribute to the professionalism and competence of the new King's security. A man who was not threat, was evaluated as such under tremendous pressure and time constraint and brute force was avoided. You, Americans, with your continued standing clearance for law enforcement to execute citizens willy-nilly can never understand that this level of security competence can actually exist.

"Miliseconds from death" I hate how he assumes they're actually gonna kill him. Kind of a dark and psychopathic way of thinking if you ask me......I hope the man that said that gets help. Because he needs it.
He was in real danger of being killed. The worst thing you can do is run towards an important figure surrounded by the secret service. Remember when the insurrection of the capitol happened in America, and the woman was killed by the secret service for trying to get through the door? Was she a real threat? Probably not, but it's easier for the secret service to explain shooting a civilian than it is to explain why they didn't shoot and the person who they protect dies as a result.
Just because you haven’t seen anyone get killed, doesn’t mean the threat isn’t there. You think the royal guard is allowed to carry rifles with bayonets just for fashion? It’s to protect the ruling monarch & they’re free to use them if they feel the threat is real. They have to take it seriously, especially since that one time, when a man (somehow) found his way to the Queen’s bedroom … thankfully no one was hurt, but that’s exactly why they’re allowed to use lethal force; in case the next person is more dangerous than curious. 🤷♀️
