The scene where Michael tells Jim that he marked the girl is one of my favourites, because it's one of the few times Michael shows self-awareness at his own ridiculousness.

That scene between Dwight and Angela, at 8:47 , wasn't actually in the script. Angela's actress (whose real name is also Angela, by the way) suffers from severe stage fright when it comes to singing in public, and, for this scene, she was so nervous she couldn't even remember the lyricks of the song, so Rain Wilson (Dwight) knelt in front of her, microphone in hand, and began humming the song to help her.

Creed singing … he was in famous-ish 60s band, The Grass Roots, until he was booted for excessive psychedelics use. Check out “Live for Today” live. He plays the guitar hook/lead on that song. And still has that endearingly perverse grin.

Creed Bratton is his name in real life and he is a famous musician from the band the Grass Roots. He still writes songs and will perform sometimes. The song he is singing during karaoke is his song "spinning and reeling with love"🔥👍🏼
