I love your wine Speedy! My best purchase was my Louis Vuitton Loop Hobo in Monogram. My second best bag purchase was my Marc Jacob’s quilted Leather shoulder bag. I bought it in red for a fun change from my usual choices.

Love your Deauville! Mine came looking like a dog’s dinner so I had to return and sadly no others came back in stock. My most used bag is one of my older ones - the Gucci Horsebit 1955 mini. My recent purchases have been great additions but not every day bags, kinda like your Dauphine but not so spendy. I would be super protective of the Dauphine because I’d want to keep the vachetta in the lighter colour. I’m the same with my LV Croisette; I like a light vachetta as it’s in damier azur.
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your deauville! 😔 As for my Dauphine, at the rate I’m using it I’m sure the vachetta will stay light for a long time. 😂

Love your dauphine but I would never wear it because of all the varchetta!
My equal most favourite purchases are my speedy 25 in Damier Ebene and Valentino Roman Stud top handle bag. The Speedy was perfect when I went travelling: fits umbrella and small water bottle and so carefree. The Valentino fits a decent amount and perfect for a night out. Also comes with a beautiful detachable chain strap that can be worn shoulder or crossbody AND also comes with a leather strap that can be worn crossbody. So versatile!
Worst was Alexander McQueen The Curve bag, the strap was not detachable and could only be worn crossbody. When worn crossbody it sticks like a sore foot! I had to return it.
I love the Speedy damier ebene too! It’s one of my favorites for traveling as well. ❤️ That’s good to know about the Curve bag. I saw a lot of those on sale at department stores … I guess that’s why!
LOL That's how I felt about a pair of shoes. I loved it so much that I'd buy it and then return it 3 different times. I really had to ask myself if I was ever going to wear it. As much as I loved just looking at it and wearing it around the house, it never served its purpose. So I returned; often looking to see if it's available online. Its still there - the last one in my size. After purchasing it 3 times, I realize it's something I just won't wear due to the cost of it - $1000.

Gold is neutral. You can wear that Daphne every day. Move to Miami. That would be an everyday bag

Display is a form of function IMO. Cos otherwise you could buy something else to look at. unless...you no longer want to look at it. 😅
