Also try make a coleslaw just peel 2 carrots grate them with a cheese grater then half small white head of cabbage slice and chop it small put in a big bowl add loads of HELLMANS mayo its done and yum 😊
Mayo, sugar, salt, pepper, white vinegar, shredded cabbage and carrot that’s how my southern mother in law from Tennessee taught me it’s divine.

Oh I love flan too - I cannot find the shells here in California- love to have it when I go home !
I do those flans aswell but I melt dark chocolate and spread it on to stop the fruit juices seeping into the sponge i put it in the freezer for 10 mins or fridge until i make the cream last min then layer peaches and strawberries or tin of fruit cocktail on it...yum...also do it with the madeira cake slice it in 3 slices add 2 pks of dream topping to that cream and line the slices but i use a light spread of blackberry jam...fab ❤
