I am a D400 UGII rider, I think, a few of your mentions were not at all proper, I get around 28KM/L in Kolkata ( our whole group gets somewhat more than 25, we really ride bad.. we get prosecuted so frequently that I have more SMS from Kolkata Police in my inbox than my GF). While on my malda trip, I rode around 370 KMs within 5.5 hrs. On that trip my cruising speed was 100KM/H and sometimes it touched 150KM/H depending upon traffic condition and road quality. I got 35KM/L !! For off-road cases, I've been to a lot more muddy places and wet beaches too but it didn't wobble in my case, I think you must change your riding posture on a muddy road which will improve your confidence and thus your riding quality will also increase. Stock tyres are really better, they do good on muddy surfaces too. I have crossed a river (waist line depth) easily, on the river bed it was full of stones but it didn't wobble for a single time, I continued to cover the river at a speed of 25KM/H. Kangsabati River in Bankura, WB. Himalayan is really bad. Trust me, I have seen a few people with very good experiences but some people's experiences might terrorise you if you want to get Himalayan. A guy was cruising at 100KM/H and the bike lost its electricals, thus throttle response was down to zero. A guy was overtaking a truck and a cow had come in its way, he decided to brake abruptly instead of making a deviated curve pass, he did it only to find that it's ABS failed at the most crucial time when he needed it the most. A guy was carrying a load of 14KGs without a pillion, after 170 KMs, its suspension failed and started acting like a horse back. More are there, if you want to contact the owners then I can help you about the same also. Most of them sold their vehicles and went for an ADV 390. Trust me, Himalayan isn't a reliable one, if someone wants a proper off-road tourer then one must go for ADV 390 or TRK502 or CB500X or Xpulse. Trust me Xpulse is really better than Himalayan. The Himalayan sibling, i.e Scram 411 is a better vehicle but only to ride on highways or cities. Cannot comment on the Yezdi one as I haven't used it yet. Sorry if my comments offend some RE lovers. My experience with RE is really really bad. Still I am looking forward to Super Meteor.
When you sit on the bike, tell someone to take a pic from side. You’ll see if your back is slouching or not. In case of slouch, get handlebars raised. I have a dominar with raised handlebars and it feels at home like RE’s classic’s neutral position. Hope this helps!
Thaks for the vlog....I am also confused with this two bikes for on/off road... only I am concerned regarding tubeless funda...can I get company owned tube less wheel from royal Enfield himalyan?
Few things to keep in mind.....dominar's weight where if ur height is 6 ft den handling dominar is good ....while Himalayan is pretty good for off-road conditions only otherwise Himalayan is not good ..he is tip towing on dominar , also dominar top speed is 170 km/hr ....i ride dominar 2022 and its fun to ride
Bhai.. mere bohut sare dost ke pass Himalayan hai .highway pe agar 60-70 ke beech rakhooge to 33-35 aram se aayega..you can also watch others mileage test

Brother I am bit fatty,
Can you please help me by giving user reviews with reference to sitting comforts for D400 while touring

I was thinking of going for himalayan as my first bike..uff so much confusion now
Thaks for the vlog....I am also confused with this two bikes for on/off road... only I am concerned regarding tubeless funda...can I get company owned tube less wheel from royal Enfield himalyan?
No
Same Condition Bro..Tube ko leke confusion me hu..Dominar bhi atcha
Bro fill your tyres with formula x. Ask RE service centre for this, they charge 2k for that.. Small nails n puncture it can take

In mileage test...Users said that their bike gave a mileage of 40 on highways on cruise mode , and 28-30 in city.. and you said it's 15-17 in city.
It's 15 to 17
Maybe the dominar is not in best condition or not maintained properly that it is giving such a low mileage
Thanks for the video. what is your height in centimeters? To see how it would fit me and be able to compare. Thanks and greetings from Chile
