Hope you guys enjoy this story!
Hahaha this is very meta. It’s a story about how a guy sells stuff online in order to sell you something online.
Build. Sell. Earn.
We are all in sales, whether selling products, ideas, or ourselves - sales is a fundamental human activity and everyone who is great at creating content knows just how important it is :)
In true spirit of your roots, this video, just like your first Reddit posts, is a glorified ad for startup story.
facts
Yeah, I saw that too. And it clearly works.
Yeah, very clever indeed. It obviously works, you're here in the comments. You're the proof.😅😅😅😂
Brilliant editing.. just brilliant. That social network sound track delivered.
Thank you :) That movie changed the trajectory of my life. Tried to capture that same energy 🧑💻
Nice going! You definitely had my attention for the whole video. 👍👍👍 Thanks for sharing!

I just found you. I absolutely love your content. If inspiration was a person, you would be the embodiment of it. Definitely following your content. This is a breath of fresh air that I've been searching for for some time now. Keep up this great journey. Thank you.
Loved this!!! Sorkin vibes all the way through with a perfectly paired OST to match. This seriously gets me in Focus Mode!
you keep my eyes glued to the screen for 9 minutes.
YOU REALLY MASTERED THE ART OF ATTENTION
Love your story telling.
Who would've thought starterstory is made in Canva.

That's was just for the vid, he coded the entire website himself.
@@nadex2111 are you minding his 🗑️?
this storytelling is on point!
thanks for documenting it Pat! loved it
This is beautiful. I have also been experiencing some love on Reddit lately. Taking a different, perhaps slower approach lol, but interesting results nonetheless.
Thanks for sharing! Will save this to watch over and over again!
🏁 Learnings
1. Create something you wish already existed.
2. Figure out how to get in front of your customers.
3. Leverage attention to grow your email newsletter.
4. Have fun along the way!
Loved the attention hook in the intro and the dynamic visuals throughout...
Damn, I had the same idea! But once I got bann3d on Reddit on my first post never continued my project.
Man you really doing good on RUclips, can you save the workshop so we can watch it if we missed it . Thank you.
Why is the title of this not How I hacked Reddit to build a $1m business? I think that would work 10x better.
Great video and edit
love the editing bro ✌🏻
Beautiful video, Pat! Did you edit this all by yourself? How long did it take you?
Fantastic and engaging video!
Love this bro!
Amazing story!
THE EDITING REMINDED ME OF THE SERIES IROBOT

Great vid Pat. And yes, you got my attention. How? You make great fucking content thats valuable to me. On another note, you gotta get Dan Koe on the show sometime, he is absolutely brilliant at what you're talking about in this video. Thanks for doing what you do, and congrats on building this. Cheers, Joe
Hi Pat, the workshop says it's over. Anyway we can still access it?
Anyone knows what is the big size capital font using in the video. That looks great. Thanks heap.
Bro that edit is next level

the way u made this video is already an example how to catch eyeballs
1:21 I purchase domains as a future investment (buying domains and building a business around it) and there is no greater feeling than to find out that the domain name that you want is available. It's the little things in life.
When the success video is better than the success
Great video
Why did you upload it 2nd time
thank you for sharing the secret formula now onto becoming a millionaire
good video!
what is the song in the intro??
Love that you're a tennis lover as well - don't think I didn't notice ;) who's your bet for the French Open?
I put together my bracket at the beginning of the tournament and had Tsitsipas Djokovic in the final. But everyone looks so good rn.
@@starterstory immortal from djokovic coming back twice in a row to win in 5, but he's not playing his best and it's only getting tougher. Can't wait for Alcaraz Tsitsipas later today - stef has been playing great this clay season but my bracket has Alcaraz going all the way!!
Anyways thanks for your work making this awesome channel - as a medical student, I'm curious if you've ever interviewed any physician entrepreneurs?
Hey, your course registration doesn’t work. It gives me 500
good work
Thankfully you didn't turned the eyeballs into protein 😅
Nice video 👌👍
damn great video
Love it and signed up for the workshop!👍
Just finished the workshop. A good motivational content at the beginning, but it turned into a 1 hour sales pitch on a course. I mean I expected at least some detailed examples in the workshop at least. 😢
Great video, judging from views it seems RUclips has reduced ur views
Nah just less interest from viewers cause it's not his usual type of video
The hackiest business in the world is the business of selling dreams and hopes. The entire digital marketing industry is a living proof of that. 😃
Awesome :)
I'm pretty sure I was one of those people who signed up from Reddit haha
It's a mini entrepreneur movie🔥🔥
Offline download options should be enabled.
It make it looks easy but lets be real, theres no shortcut nor overnight success. It might take from serval months to years to build the one with a lot of falling attempts and unsatisfied outcomes along the way ...
شكرا
I love this
So at the beginning you shows a income of 6.9%
Sooo what did you sell to get that money?

Now that is how to Retention!

I am glad it worked for you but this is not working nowadays because Reddit mods are super picky about promoting your own stuff. I am not sure how you evaded those guys. Still, no negativity here. I love your content.
After watching your video, here's what I realiased.
#1. Build your own audience so you have maximum control.
(For those who don't have money to invest in email marketing that's something you should do)
#2. That's done by answering questions and leading then your profile where they can follow instead of posting links.
#3. After that, post your links on your on profile instead of on someone's group.
That's something I'll do different and it does works.
what is your product? i dont get it
Selling you a dream
Its an open Knowledge database of successful companies and their insights on how to build a successful company.
He takes the info from people who have already built a successful business and sells the data to users
Just doesn’t add anything. People selling courses on how to sell courses without having a product. No fancy editing or aggressive voiceovers will change that
Why did redditors petition against your site? If they didn't like it and the product is still the same on other platforms (such as RUclips) wouldn't that be a problem?
lmao. He told you where he makes his money now guess what you are going to do when you get to that link
ALL that reddit story is a cap... just went through his profile with just to see only 2 to 3 or 4 upvotes and very few followers like around 2.3k
So you earn millions from 20 000 emails? Im not following it.
End . All makeing workshop .$$$$$$
Is this the true story cuz…
mr robot like)
This was something I was missing: ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ATTENTION ❤
Here is a new petition to BAN startterStory RUclips channel! Upvote NOW! ahahhahaha
Damn bro I too had an same idea few years back, but I never tried something....... !! 😢
Reddit is so cringe man. So many power-tripping weirdos that want to keep a good marketer down. You're providing 99% value, and you have one tiny link to your page and someone gets butthurt. It's really pathetic - that /r/entrepreneur sub is supposed to be *encouraging* this shit...but they arent interested in hearing from you unless you're already Mark Cuban...
9 to 5, 6 figure salary, parties, profit, and banana 🍌😅
Update your RUclips profile pic, brah, at least make it something professional
But wait... you were teaching people how they could make $10k a month while you worked a 9-5 as you mentioned in the video... So all this time you were selling bullcrap?
