WHen she stopped singing in Black Holes she gasped when she heard the audience singing with her. You can see this clearly in some of the fancam versions. Also,, you could see some of the orchestra choking up at the end of Black Holes. Maybe that's why she is smiling so hard for the rest of the concert
I can't imagine the impact Breathe might have had if they did the strings for that. But it wasn't that planned. Pau called an audible in the moment. I'm sure she'd discussed it as a possibility. But as she was not at 100%, I'm not sure even her sisters expected her to do it. Where were they? I believe they were waiting in the wings to give her a hug.
I beleive that. I actually caught a glimps in the video where one of the string ladies was sitting right behind Pau and she was full up crying. It must have been something to sit right on stage and experience this, literally in front of your face.
That is probably one of the best four songs punches on any stage in rock'n'roll history. Going from deeply emotional to party mode in less than 15 minutes.
I agree, this shows the range of TW more than anything and I do not know how anyone can watch and not be absolutely enthralled with this band! 🤘⚡Keep on Rockin'⚡🤘
@@aaronlape2870 Yeah the auto translate picked up most of my audio but not so much the songs. I edited my own CC for the audience and hoped most people watching know the music!!
@@DaneBramageROCKS no I wasn’t for the songs it was for her little speech before breathe. I couldn’t see it on the screen. I can’t tell if you were reading it.
My understanding is Pau wrote Breathe after a school friend had suddenly and tragically died. Somewhere around 8th grade (+/- 1). Heard second or third hand it was a suicide. She recorded it once on her piano at home (that she did the Creep cover on). When they needed one more song for the Error album the Team wanted to include Breathe. Pau would not re-record it so they used the orignal recording. She always said she would not play it live because she knew what would happen.... We're all glad she did try it, she stopped after all the lyrics were done and only missing a few wooaa's that the audience was helping her with, like only two more on the album version. That was a memorable music event I'll remember for a lifetime. Waiting right off stage was Ale with a healing Sister hug and she was better as the show must go on. Seeing that would have put me on the floor. God bless and protect these Angels.
Yeah I think I recall hearing a similar story two in the comments here from past videos. Glad she was able to face it and press on. Such a beautiful performance.
Love your reactions my dude! If you´re loving this Pepsi Center concert, just wait till Feb 2025 when The Warning does two shows at Auditorio Nacional (National Auditorium) in Mexico City. Auditorio is our best and most prestigious concert venue in Mexico. Metropolitan and Pepsi Center were just warm ups for Auditorio. I saw an interview yesterday that they are already making preparations for those two shows in Auditorio. They are gonna go all out in those concerts!! They are already sold out BTW.
Oh SNAP!! So, we can expect this again next year! Well, I'll be ready. Can't wait to see how they are going capitalize from the Teatro, to Pepsi, to Auditorio Nacional!! OHHHH, and we get to see the new Keep me Fed songs in that on!! This is going to be AWESOME!! 🤘⚡Keep on Rockin'⚡🤘
My friend: The Warning... one of the Best Bands in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pau has the crowd involved in those two emotional stirring songs plus that orchestral accompaniment is just beautiful. I lose it at the end of Breathe 😢And the way she gives a smile through the tears! Bravo Pau! But then we are picked up by a eerily perfect start to Enter Sandman! Survive's ending is just wild! They are just an outstanding band 👏 ❤
Yeah this was one of more favorite series to get through. Really highlights the diversity and style of the band and if this doesn't show all ends of their talent in one shot, then I don't know what does! 🤘⚡Keep on Rockin'⚡🤘

Best versions of Enter Sandman and Black Holes. The string section adds a lot. That was a all female group from a university in Monterrey. It had to be as huge a deal for them to perform before 8K people in Mexico City as it was for DPA. Yes, it was the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra that did the Metallica show. There were 23 songs in the setlist for the Pepsi Center show. So you have a ways to go before they conclude the uploads.
PAULINA PAULINA PAULINA... How many people know how it feels to hear 8000 people chant your name? Not a lot, I'd guess. Pau knows, and she deserved every single "PAULINA" she got that night. The love the crowd showed her was well deserved, and she used her soul as a mirror to reflect it right back.
Thanks Dane....have replayed all of these releases over and over and over again...cannot stop, like an addiction. Absolutely would not miss your reaction, especially to these 4 songs. As I understand it, it was Rudy's idea to bring in the strings from a local college. This concert could not be more EPIC and then they go and step it up another level....this is mind blowing. Both of Pau's songs had me wearing sunglasses..😥😥😥😥 Do not believe this is after intermission, can see them pushing the piano off stage at beginning here, Pau had just did "Breathe" and right back into Rocking the house...she is incredible. BTW, hope you noticed (Survive) the synchronized "hair flips" with Ale and Pau and also the synchronized guitar swings with Ale and Dany, did it a couple times...pure unadulterated showmanship from the girls...this concert has everything!!!
YEah these 4 songs back to back express the wide range of diversity these girls can play, and it only gets better. There is no way anyone can watch this and say this group is not the BEST!! Mind blowing. And No, I totally missed the hair flips and guitar swings. GOING BACK IN!! LOL 🤘⚡Keep on Rockin'⚡🤘
Survive is a classic. It's not only a fan favorite, but it's a pure classic Warning song. If I'm not mistaken, and someone correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe it's the first song where Pau started out a song. It was on the 21CB album of course. I first heard it at TEDx (which is where she broke one of her drumsticks and recovered like it was nothing). And the performance at TEDx had Ale playing the keyboard in the opening lyrics. That's of course a backing track now. It is definitely one of my Top 5 favorite Warning songs. As for Black Holes and Breathe - the production quality for those two songs from this concert is off the charts amazing. The overlay of where Pau was playing the piano. The shots of the background orchestra. The sound quality is off the charts as well. You'd be hard pressed to find a better-quality video from a live concert. Just my humble opinion. And I always get goose bumps listening to these two songs, no matter which medium (live or studio version). And then Enter Sandman. it's the new standard for that song. They need to play the live version on the radio. Heck, use this version with the orchestra. Absolutely epic.
I was there and it was so great! It is possible it was last concert attend in my life because I finished so tired, jumping, singing a lot of energetic concert. I though some time be in National Auditory in 2025, but I did no reach ticket!!! I am 64, hahaha I remember song same name of The Beatles!
WOOHOO!!! How cool is that. So glad you got to see them at this venue then!! I heard that Auditory sold out FAST!! But, at least you got to see this one. 🤘⚡Keep on Rockin'⚡🤘
Ale taking over that last moment. I'm ignoring Black Holes and Breathe, because i just cry through both of those. Enter Sandman is a thing, but Survive at the end really brings it back to kicking ass. ❤️⚡😭⚡🤘
Los temas de The Warning son tan adictivos ,sus riffs tan pegajosos que solo demuestran su calidad ,son verdaderas maestras de la composición e interptetacion y en vivo nadie como TW
Pau is like a combat veteran- “Breathe” was her song about the death of a friend, and then giving it her all with “Survive”- not doing so would be a dishonor to her lost friend- live and go big for those that never got to- it’s an insult to those we’ve lost to waste the life and opportunities we’re given to make the world a little better.
