Okay, this is going to sound terribly mean, and it shouldn't, but oh well. This "retirement on air" segment is about as boring as it gets. You get the one guy, the one guy who's a nice guy, who's a decent human being, but who's about as diffident, emotionless and deadly dull as a goddamn Matryoshka doll, and he's the one to surprise a guy? And then you're telling me that Rosen actually acts surprised? Talk about boring as hell. If you're gonna (sp) get someone, get some celebrity who happens to be traveling through the Twin Cities that particular week, not some drab-as-hell, aw-shucks, deadly dull dude who drove the 10 miles on Highway 12 to come to Nicollet Mall with a stupid-ass No. 4 jersey and attempts to be entertaining. This could have been done, at a minimum, 75 percent better than it was. Bringing in "Muted Mauer" was a mistake. Spoiler: I used to produce for 'CCO in the early 90s, too.

      Somebody sounds jealous!!!

@@bk7878 Well, that's one theory. And an alternative one: the author's incapacity to be jealous of someone so deadly goddamn dull. Yeah, I think I'll go with (B), the alternative theory.

@@bankcounsel LOL!!! Well here is another theory, and the best yet. I now believe it's even more than envy, more like a bitter disgruntled ex employee, that was most likely terminated for that exact attitude. Also, Joe is a stand up guy, why you're bad mouthing him, is beyond me. I'm certainly not looking to argue with you, we're all entitled to our opinions, with one exception, yours stinks. 🤭

@@bk7878 Good morning, if you read my posting I didn't submit that Joe "dull and deadly boring by nature" Mauer is not a nice person. He is. He's also harmlessly likable. I only intimated what everyone already knows that he's fabulously reticent and matchlessly diffident. Doesn't make him a terrible person, not the least. He's just a boring chap. If he was charged with giving the orders to Seal Team Four, the Seal Team authorized to capture bin Laden, well, that Team sure as hell wouldn't be motivated to capture bin Laden. But yes, Joseph is a decent human being. Tally ho!

@@bankcounsel Alright fair enough, and I apologize for the derogatory comments directed towards you. You were asking for it though, leaving a comment like that about a hometown hero! One last thing, I don't think, I'm going out on a limb, presuming you were the one and only person who thumbed down this video, right? Lol!!! Good day to you!
