I have a mint 2000 zrt 800 and I trail ride mine every year and it mops every stock new sled on the lake lol. Maybe you don't see them because you ride too slow and they are already at the other end of the lake lol. If you go to back lake in Pittsburgh nh you will see a bunch of zrts and tcats any day of the winter and good luck trying to keep up.
@@Tristandow74 ok im gonna check this out next time I’m gonna cross a lake if there’s any Cat turning around looking for drag because those Cat take too much fuel In a day. That why I don’t see Oold Cat anymore in the trail.See You riding around the lake….
Viper worst sled ever?! Have had one 20 years only thing done has been spark plugs. It starts on 3 pull every time. Learn something about snowmobiles before you bash them, or at least be able to back it up with good information not opinion.
HMMMMMMM our Ski-doo Formula plus was amazing, so much that it has been threw 4 different owners in our family and is sporting over 16K miles on the original motor. It use to hit the radar runs in West Yellowstone every year back when they use too, it's worst was 100 and the best was 120 mph. The only things done to it was a track upgrade, pipes, and ski's. Still rips the same today as the day it was bought. A good buy! Makes you wonder how far off they are on the rest of the sleds.
@Glame TOP 5 please re-evaluate your choice on doing reviews like this. Any IQ based 600 gets alot of km life have enough power and plenty are still running, polaris makes great 600 twins. You also have no knowledge on yamahas best years of snowmobiles because there 700 triples are one of their best builds to this day from the mountain max to the vipers. Your reviews make you seem like you've never been on any of these snowmobiles.
This video is a joke. I have seen Vipers with 10,000 miles on them. No mention of the early F7 grenading or Polaris XCR and the crank bearing failures? Wow
We’ve had a Yamaha viper and it was the best word with ever had so don’t go saying that it’s the worst snowmobile in the world biggest man freaking rips
@@bones6173 You dont make enough money to follow me in the trail kitty…Stay around your frozen lake burn your 5 gallons in a weekend and keep on telling everyone your going fast with your 2 smokers.
Yes four stroke has long-term surgery and me can rebuild in a day for less than u I'll still smoke u do u smell that gas and oil yep in your nose thats all
Back in the late 90's early 2000's I was on a snowmobile as much as possible. I rode with a group of friends and in that group was both the Thundercat and ZRT 600's-800's. Myself had a ZR580 & ZR600, we beat the hell out of these sleds and put thousands of miles on them. They were some of the best sleds going at that time. This video just seemed to pick random sleds from years ago decided to call them "worst sleds". Kinda laughable.
What dummy would pull their sled 40 times without popping the spark plugs and giving it afresh squirted gas which is the quickest way to start them up when they been sitting duh
Obviously a video from someone with zero experience around snowmobiles. Half the sleds in this video were the best of the best for their time. I started laughing when the Thundercat made the list, that sled is an iconic beast.
Start by saying snowmobile and not skimobile😂 and then go ride one and tell us about it before saying this and that i have a formula 583 and it is a great old trail machine not the klondike machine but gonna get fram A to B ...i use to have a yamaha bravo and went everywere with it... it is about choosing your style of ride dont go speeding on a machine not made for that
That dude's just some random Bozo spouting junk those Yamaha snowmobiles people I knew own those Yamaha sleds all the way up for the early 2000's and those motors were bulletproof more so than other manufacturers of the time
This guy needs to ride a modded zrt or thundercat😂 so biased lol they are reliable as all hell if you know how to take care of them. And they arent even that heavy my zrt 600 was lighter than any ski doo 670 or 583 powered sled ive ridden and ive ridden alot.
This guy's inaccuracy has me rolling🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very inaccurant.
Ive had 4 vipers over 20 years, still ride today, best sled Yamaha built
I've had phasers and exiters and they were nice but when they broke down they were a bitch to fix. I'm no mechanic but damn that sucked
That's what I was just saying friend of mine has one with almost a 8,000 mi and it's still as 140ps a compression
Those Yamaha motors were in house built off racing technology borrowed from their motocross bikes so course they're going to be reliable
You actually have no idea what your talking about. Anyone that knows anything about snowmobiles will quickly seee this.
Ha. Zrt 800 is on this list??ha🤣. Did you get kicked by a horse as a kid
The Polaris 900 was as the worst snowmobile engineering bludder in snowmobile history... snow goer magazine.
Exactly, 600 and 700 libery from that era was bulletproof engines, 900 not so much
I had a viper too and it was mint. If the carbs a tuned it will have no problems firing up
Zrt 800s are the best sleds ever built this is the worst video I've ever seen
Last time I see one in the trails is like 15 years ago, so best sled ever made ! I don’t think so…..

are these prices your saying are when it was was brand-new ??because there's no way that that formula plus is worth 5600 bucks today
The 94 thunder cat was made to shoot straight.
My 700 Zr could beat a 900 t cat.
Your wrong, ZRT?? I have a 800 and it's almost the best snowmobile I have had
Every fact you mention is wrong thundercat is not 130hp its 160 the prices are totally wrong too

A 1993 Plus X motor is way beyond 75hp. lmao
Thundercats are the best sled out there they made it then ski doo copied them and they are still not as fast as a thundercat. It’s the cleanest sled

Couldn’t be more wrong about the Viper. Plus that’s a trail sled in your video.
I owned a 02 viper and its one of the most reliable sleds i ever owned only took one pull to start mine every time !!
DID THE 4th ONE GO ONTO THE NFL GROOMED TRAIL?!
I just got two 1994 arctic cat panther 440's are they are any good because my grandfather just gave them too me
this guy is way off
Hey some of those thundercat clips are from my youtube channel.
I have a 99 Yamaha VMAX 700 triple a 97 and a 99 Yamaha SRX 700 and a 05 SX venom 600 triple still ride all them
My Yamaha VMAX sleds are built better than today's junk
@@mikeversluis1347 just picked up a 1995 V Max 500 ....4100 miles... Bought from a older gentlemen..... Well taken care of...
Just like the Thundercats and ZRT models. Some of the best snowmobiles of their time! I'd be surprised if this guy has ever ridden a snowmobile.
Comparing 1990s machines to 2020 machines it does not match at all
This guy is a ski doo rider he needs to wake up because ski doo blows up more then any other snowmobile
Well I think all new sleds are junk mygiver

My first snowmobile was the ol ZRT. This was in 2015 and it lasted me five years until the engine finnaly blew up.

Your video sucks man lots of great sleds on here! I can think of so many much worse sleds for a list like this!
What dummy would pull their sled 40 times without popping the spark plugs and giving it afresh squirted gas which is the quickest way to start them up when they been sitting duh
That's how he got so many comments by saying the Viper was the worst he know what he was doing that means the Yamaha Viper was the best
Hay you are make me angry i have a polaris dragon switchback 600 stopp it 😡

Weird taste, i love that formula plus, and the wildcat. I dont believe this voice knows anything.
All 2 strokes are jokes.. If you get 4000 miles out of one without a piston going. Your not driving it like a snowmobile.
