Tbh I feel a little disappointed about all of the drama around DWD because I really liked Booksmart. But with how disastrous this press tour has been, apparently there's been some discussion about if Olivia Wilde is still okay to hire. I worry that this may turn into an opportunity to stunt the career of a female director/filmmaker. Assuming that she didn't act in any abusive way on set, of course. If she did, that's a whole different thing to talk about.
OMG YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!! THEY DID JUST THIS, but not only that but Olivia Wilde low key planned for them to do this to her! The movie is basically ABOUT hollywood doing just this stunt! It's ironic AF! I cant get over this!
There are and will be many iconic female directors. Wilde isnt and wont be the last female director and she was never great to begin with. Im confident that that there are great women voices ready to have time on the big screen.
So you’re saying that her suffering consequences from HER OWN actions and self-sabotaging will get in the way of her own success and that is bad for other women because of this made-up “glass ceiling?” Women just need to make A GOOD MOVIE & don’t talk politics. That’s it. It’s been accomplished before by women! It’s not that hard. But Olivia Wilde did this to herself 🤷🏾♂️.
Yes, remember the last Charlie’s angels remake. When the muppet who directed it came out and said “This isn’t a movie for straight white men, don’t bother watching it, it’s not for you.” Then it flopped big time, and she came out talking about how it flopped because straight white men were scared to go see a movie that called out their misogyny. Which ironically made her look like the cliche air headed blonde.
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia were never married, the legal papers are for their child custody. I'm a big fan of Jason, so their breakup broke my heart and I was never a fan of Harry. I'm interested in Florence Pugh's work but will wait for actual commentary on the movie itself.

It's on HBO for free to watch. I'd give the plot a 6-6.5 but the cinematography is gorgeous. Up there with Bones and All. It saves the movie. Florence pulls out her best performance I've seen her in so far. Wake up call to Olivia-"Miss Flo" is pretty much the only reason to watch the movie besides the scenery. You should be kissing her feet.
The best part was when she accused Jordan Peterson of being king of the incels 😂 a man who literally says to young men if all the girls don’t want to be with you, you’re the one with the problem. It's a very immature Adult Driven kind of Drama. They're shooting themselves in the foot while aiming at each other. You don't have to like each other to promote a film, but you did do the work. So... Why waste the effort doing this to each other?
can’t wait for comedies to make a comeback
Jason and Olvia were not married. They have childern together, she was served custody papers
This just comes down to 1 thing: both Olivia and Harry are not very good people
I would only watch it for Dita Von Teese and her split second cameo performance 😅
Dita's Instagram is where I saw the trailer in the first place! Lol
I saw this movie. Olivia has finally found the solution to Hollywood movie piracy. Make movies soo bad that people dont even bother to pirate it. What an absolute garbage movie.
To be fair, this could be the worst or best marketing campaign ever, I mean I'm still going to watch it.
You have no idea, forget marketing, Olivia Wilde be purposely attacking people with this movie! I cant stop laughing cause the irony of all of this is that basically the movie itself is about all these people trying to shaft this movie. I cant even, shes a god!
@@gardenmedia1701 a god? 😂 you mean, a garden tool. She’s proven to be an easy woman who ruined her family cause she’s hitting the wall and wants to feel young again with a young boyfriend. That’s not god-like… it’s selfish & shallow.
@@TJ-um8ce tf? Says who? The rumors? Are you still on those? You know her? Dont think so. What does anything you said have to do with the movie anyway? Did her v hold the camera while it was made? That's one talented pair of legs shes got. Who gives a damn if she pulled a Hollywood and slept with a younger man on the side. Especially IF it happened to be Harry Styles. You're male directors do it all the time. They do worse. Nothing more sleazy than a man trying to discredit a women's work by spreading false rumors....that's you btw. Youre the sleazy man. And everyone like you. You whined about Ms Wilde talking about glass ceilings and stuff you didnt believe existed in another post, yet here you are in all you're proud glory doing exactly what was talked about....and also represented in the movie. Surprise! Get your narcissistic pants on, the movie's about you and you're BS! How's that for original content? She baited you mother fers to act like clowns and trash her before the big show so that all her fans can sit and watch a movie making fun of you. Even better, guess who's playing you! You're the joke and you dont even know why! I can see it now, you're gonna go to see it, you're gonna suffer through eatching a good movie about trauma and gaslighting, and you're gonna completly miss that you're sitting at the dinner table along with every other AH that bought into this. Just shut up and wank TJ, you're probably not old enough to see the movie anyway.
@@TJ-um8ce If a man did that it would have been normal but God forbid a woman to have a young boyfriend no? Then she is selfish and shallow.
@@SarcasticSage It's gross male or female director. It's worse when the director was already in a relationship... especially with kids.
I love that it's like, a real movie. Like a real go to the theater movie. It's really a movie that feels like, you know, a movie
I’m still going to see it for Florence Pugh because I like everything she does. Also, I was on Olivia’s side mostly but her lying about firing Shia LaBeouf ( who I don't like) really rubbed me wrong. What a damn mess.
I'm such a fan of Florence. She's just a great actress. I know one of the issues also is she felt Harry and Olivia hooking up was unprofessional.
yeah she's fire
No matter your opinion on what you're 'hearing' you wont regret it. She was fire, and you'll find all that drama be ironic af after seeing this movie. Hollywood be trying to hard to trash this movie for a reason.
She was absolutely fantastic in the film!!! As were Nick Kroll, Chris Pine, and Gemma Chan!! I do wish Harry wasn’t picked for Jack Chambers. No disrespect to him! I am a fan of him and he obviously tried. It just was hard to take Jack seriously because it was played by Harry. His acting could have been WAY worse, don’t get me wrong. It’s just that when sharing a screen with these insanely talented actors, his lack of experience is bound to show. But overall I was thoroughly entertained throughout the film
Not only that, she threw Florence under the bus.
Dude I’ve only heard the drama I didn’t even know it was a horror movie till like 3 days ago still no word on the plot either lmao
So Jordan Peterson is not only a super mega ultra magic Nazi, he's also the villain of a horror movie. All from telling young men to fix what they can in their own lives before blaming everyone else for their own problems
lol, make a movie about this on-set drama and you probably would get a movie with a 50+ score on rotten tomatoes
THEY DID! IT IS THE MOVIE! 😭 you have to see it, this is the most ironic af thing I've seen in ages! I'm dying! Hollywood dun f*cked up and played into their trap!
I actually don't want to see it because of all the drama, I'm tired of it and won't be able to separate it.
I know right… when did actors stop being professionals? They are faux political analysts now who have too much money, too much time & itchy Twitter fingers.
Who’s fault is that? I didn’t even knew about the drama, I just saw the movie and then I started searching more of it and then found out about the drama. Maybe stop following drama channels?
Kris is like "How the hell have I ended up in this shit show?"
So this is a movie written to throw shade at a man who is trying to inspire young people to get their lives organized, yet the entire cast is an absolute train wreck........huh.
Shia has video of him being told not to quit. And servers do what they can to serve papers.
The movie is actually trippy and good af
I think the drama is actually gonna make it more money than if the film didnt have any drama whatsoever
That’s the point lol
I just saw this movie on Saturday and it was excellent. Didn’t know about the background drama LOL. I was surprised Harry could act.
he can’t.
The movie itself sounds like a pale imitation of the Stepford Wives and that's why no one's talking about it
Bahahaha sure, please dont see it, you dont deserve to enjoy the greatest FU to hollywood of all time. This movie is ironically about all of the this toxic bs hollywood be trying to throw at this movie. It's too funny!
This is super clever marketing. I had no idea this movie was being made, but now I do because the drama surrounding it is all over the place. Well played.
I just saw the movie and loved it. I can care less about the drama. Florence Pugh is adorable in the movie.
Glad i watched the movie only because there was a reel on it and not because i actually heard any of the drama outside of it
hey lets not forget sydney chandler whos also in this movie. her drama you ask? shes grooming a teenage boy she met when he was a minor🥰
Come again? What?
I heard rumors that the on-set dispute between Pugh and Wilde was due to Pugh being good friends with Sudeikis(?) and it's been believed that Styles and Wilde had an affair during the filming which then led to the divorce
But again, those are just rumors and theories.
Finally people seeing this clown show for what it is
You deserve to miss this movie! Stay victorious please!
The best part is all of this IS the pr. The more you talk about it the more it spreads.
The world was shown a super shady side of Olivia Wilde. People don't forget...
I was actually really excited to see this movie because I adore Florence and the trailer had me so intrigued. And I love Chris Pine in movies. But I heard it was not great that Florence Pugh was the best part of the movie and carried it but even she couldn’t save it.
Aaaaaaaaaand I have better things to concern myself with. May these poor celebrities learn to live in fucking peace already.
OW also said that the villain was inspired by Jordan Peterson. That kind of publicity is somehow weird.
The movie was pretty darn good!!!
All of these people are dislikable, another failed movie to be blamed on “toxic fans” I miss the days when they were just bad movies
I just watched it and was falling asleep all a bit lol. It was… just okay. The ending was kinda surprising ig. Florence did outstanding though and Harry did pretty good towards the very end.
Olivia Wilde was better off in House where the only drama was her character being bisexual
She also had that disease and actually did a good job in that role, her best scene was where she talks about mercy killing her brother... She has talent, she's not a good person and not good at making movies. Should of stuck to just acting.
Sure this shit is *AS* entertaining if not more than the movie is about to be
"Back into theatres to see AN ADULT DRIVEN DRAMA" was pretty funny
These are the people that believe you are too dumb to think for yourself.. their mission is to "wake" you up.. keep your nonsense in n California, you're doing great 👍 👌 👏
The public drama is so juvenile that it overshadows any opportunity to present this as a mature drama.
@@alejandrodeleon244 her movies say different.
@@gardenmedia1701 one was good and the other was poor critically
So you’re saying that her suffering consequences from HER OWN actions and self-sabotaging will get in the way of her own success and that is bad for other women because of this made-up “glass ceiling?” Women just need to make A GOOD MOVIE & don’t talk politics. That’s it. It’s been accomplished before by women! It’s not that hard. But Olivia Wilde did this to herself 🤷🏾♂️.
Oh yea and don't forget the bad move of saying the bad guy is based of of Jordan peterson
Im gonna watch it! Looking forward to it. I love Florence Pugh and Chris Pratt
You mean Chris Pine
@@phantomfandomfails3013 Omg, yes, I absolutely do. Thank you!
Yes, remember the last Charlie’s angels remake. When the muppet who directed it came out and said
“This isn’t a movie for straight white men, don’t bother watching it, it’s not for you.”
Then it flopped big time, and she came out talking about how it flopped because straight white men were scared to go see a movie that called out their misogyny. Which ironically made her look like the cliche air headed blonde.
The movie is actually so so so spectacular I hope this drama doesn't take away from it's art.
Chris Pine just channeled the entirety of GenX going “is it over yet 🙄😳😒”
Hail to my literal new queen of classy, quiet, discreet SAVAGE SABOTAGE: Mizzz Florence Pugh.
“Miss Flo” to ya never!
Notes have been taken.
They were custody papers, NOT divorce papers. They were never legally married, just engaged
Harry clearly spit on Chris yet they all deny it
It’s all still so incredible lol. I can’t wait for the tell-all doc or article about all of it
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia were never married, the legal papers are for their child custody. I'm a big fan of Jason, so their breakup broke my heart and I was never a fan of Harry. I'm interested in Florence Pugh's work but will wait for actual commentary on the movie itself.
*”movie actually has done really well at box office doe” 🍿🎞🎥🙌🏾 - MELL DUNEY 616*
Never heard of this movie.
Harry Styles' performance in this movie makes Tommy Wiseau look like Marlon Brando 😂
Actually, I think Nope was Holllywood’s big break to get everyone back in theater. It has a great cast of talented actors, it was shot with an imax camera, and experiencing it in theaters was something else
They weren't divorce papers. They were custody papers.
Ok but Harry was never hooking up w Olivia- it was a PR stunt
😂😂😂 nah… they’re banging
It was interesting and the clothing was beautiful and Harry Styles was yummy. So many questions. If it was VR, how were people bleeding and dying. And wtf with the ending.
What about Oliva wilde comparing Jordan Peterson to Chris Pine's character? This lady needs a new career choice.
Forreals that was unwarranted. Such a random person for her to call out too.
She has Issues and not good ones
Would Andrew Tate be a better comparison? Because the whole premise of the film is based on a lot of the topics men like them bemoan about
Like what? What views do Chris pines character and JP share exactly?
Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles was a bad PR Stunt. Proved it when then broke up right after the release
Bro, after I watched the trailer, I was SOLD!
I hate people, but I was willing to go to a theater to watch this. But then all these stories started coming out. . .
Fuck people. The movie is good. The only thing I care about, enjoying a movie.
@@tiarezavaleta8850 I wish I could get to that point, where I didn't care about anything but myself.
Olivia is exhibiting some cluster B traits and I can't support abuse like that.
It's not the worst thing you have seen. For me it was good, but nothing more. Florence basically carried the whole movie and made it worth it. For people who are not big on cinema and don't have much interest or knowledge, the movie will probably seem great, I mean my friend loved it and found it really intriguing. Truth is if you are a cinema lover you will probably have seen or at least heard about movies like this before. I can name two just on top of my head. The theme wasn't anything new and the critics were right about this. But it was fairly enjoyable.
This is the chaos Jordan Peterson was talking about 😂
"Dont worry darling - an antidote to order" xD
It’s a shame, really liked Olivia in House and Tron 😢
they would have still gotten hype without the drama just cuz harry styles being in it 💚
The best part was when she accused Jordan Peterson of being king of the incels 😂 a man who literally says to young men if all the girls don’t want to be with you, you’re the one with the problem. Fix yourselves. It’s your responsibility to do that. Then when he cries about the thought of the thousands of young men killing themselves because they’re dissociated and lost and all he wants to do is help them change when it was referenced on piers Morgan her fans thought he was crying because he was insulted 😂 Jesus, embarrassing.
Jordan Peterson be like “yeah I wouldn’t be like that in a movie”
I don't remember a time in my life where somthing like this was made and wasn't some back alley c movie. So how any studios thought this would sell is beyond me.
it honestly feels like a set up to me. the details are too perfectly messy & dramatic. good way to get everyone talking about a boring movie
Like the will slap
Olivia is a cesspool of drama. She literally is a magnetic for negativity.
