Implication always confused me, not sure why but I think when my professor said "if p, then q" without simply adding an example for p and q it really didn't click in my head. Such an easy explanation and now it makes complete sense. Thanks!
RUclips videos are great. However, not because you couldn't understand while your lecturer was teaching, it doesn't mean that he/she should be bashed. The learning conditions are different!!
Oh god. Why am I so dumb?? I do not understand why statement "If you take out the trash, then you won't get a dollar" cannot be true, it is possible that I do not get a dollar if I took out the trash.
It is possible to take out the trash and not get a dollar. The reason it's false in a truth table is because the promise is broken. The if condition was met, but the then portion was broken.
For the if/then statements, it's always true, unless the if part is true and the then part is false. The reason for this is because the promise of the if part is broken. You have to look for the combination T followed by F to be false.
Exclusive or means that they have to be different. One has to be true and the other false in order to be true. It excludes the both true that just or has.
makes no sense to me, just like the second statement, in the third I can NOT give you a dollar if you take the trash out...i'm using the same logic she used for the second statement, why is the second false and thr third true though...makes absolutely no sense
Only one statement breaks the promise. If the "if" part is true, the "then" part should follow. All the other combinations don't break the promise. T followed by F is the only time you assign F, because it's the only time that it doesn't keep with statement. You assign T for all other combinations.
Hi Ma'am, can you please help me with this statement? Please 🙏 "All policemen are honest." I am a bit confused whether the statement is true or false (truth value) Please ma'am help me

Mam can u please solve my question
The truth value of the implication 'if 7 is even then 25 is odd' is ______
What will be the answer mam
what if the given is q -> p how do I write it? is q in truth table gonna be TTFF or TFTF?
You still do it the same way, you just start with q first. I show it in this video towards the middle ruclips.net/video/hWa3JcB7Hbo/видео.html

You are the besttttt!!!!
How did the third row happen??? I still don’t get it and I think I’m on my third video.

Can you do truth table for "not statement"???
I talk about not statements in this video: ruclips.net/video/i6GeTjPo6JQ/видео.html
Thanks❤️
Help me!
I cant understand (Exclusive OR (XOR))
